so as long as they were a member in the last 6 months and cheated at ANY time in their past they fall under this ban-category regardless of their activity since the f2p was destroyed. and (sidenote) i was told that a bunch of RSCers quit when that happened since they "saw the writing on the wall" or what have you. dunno if this is true though. any1 wanna fill me in? ess and yews have been 30-40 per and 300 per steady since long before autoers were popular, so please dont post utter bs. and since those time havent all of those items gone up in price ? yews have been 200ea as well now theyre 300ea and autoers keeping em down. It is definetly true that autoers go against the inflation. BUT WHO CARES IF THEY GET FREE CASH WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING !!!! I just can't take that :S they go do what they feel like all day having many autoers running on their pc... heck maybe they even pay membership for new accounts with the money from that their old autoers made and sold on eBay :S:S:S damit ohw and about jagex doing something about it ? Well what someone said a while ago place mods at the favourite alching spots who will be talking to the autoers, they do see mods talk when their chat is of, and that will they can ban them if they dont respond to jagex' questions. No its high alch prices keeping them down autoers have nothing to do with it. only prices autoers have hit hard is shark down to 700-800 per from 900-1000 per. As for the moderators idea this wont work but i cant post wise at risk of ruining a coming ban.

Instead of whining, do it for yourself. As much as I love RS, I would gladly betray it and auto-mine ess if I was getting that much money off of it. I don't think Paul and Andrew would give a damn if RuneScape went under right now. With some 370k member's at $5 a month each, even after paying all their employees and server costs, they're still putting a good $650k each into their pockets every month. And that's before you calculate in all the revenue generated by ads on the side. Money is the root of all evil, but face it, that's what this is all about. :o If They (yes, capitalized) cared as much about the customers as they did about the money, they'd just make membership free. I have enough cash irl to not have to worry about it, i had $17,000 worth of ith's and other insane hacked items on diablo 2 and never even considered selling them, eventually i gave it all away and quit. werent u gonna quit? but, selling runescape $ for real id feel odd I did quit, gave all my chars but 2 away also, i just stake and train on my staker now and then maybe 2 hours a week.

1st of all u probably shouldnt quote my post if you dont want it seen :lol: 2nd i highly doubt that jagex will do such a thing since it will make them less money (from all the banned accounts) anyway :( 3rd even if autoers see this they cannot react quickly enough EVERY SINGLE TIME to prevent the lose of their characters. if jagex wanted to truly stop autoers then they could do random "stings" like this monthly or weekly and could easily write the message in a different format so that autoers couldnt write new instructions in to identify these posts. remember they only need to get caught ONCE and they are gone for good (their accounts anyway) 4th i think that this is a post that should be read and repeated so that it might "hopefully" get acted upon if their is enough support so sry the post stays unless mod-edited :wink: Whatever, go ahead and [bleep] rs up for every one couse you want attention. Jagex doesnt care about the money read the front page of rs.. 5k rsc members banned, every single one of them was a member thats $25,000 a month.

Please edit your post, its not the solution i sent to jagex but it hints at it, and if the bot makers read this they can easily get arround the next mass ban.

I just sent in the info for jagex, how to mass ban them all with ease, waiting for a reply, its about 6 am in london atm i think so i got a few hours to wait yet.

You said it yourself, so why get excited over it? Just because it isn't in their program yet doesn't mean it wont be added. Its just a temporary problem for autoers. The event could be designed in such a way that there is no way around it, but for some reason I doubt that. So yeah... you're excited for no reason. To be honest. I really don't even know why some of these people even bother to auto. Its not like there is a whole lot involved in what you're doing. I just don't get how or why some people can be so lazy. Ill explain why they do it, i have a friend irl lets just call him "S" He has a script on A that you give it a user name and password it makes the account logs it in does teutorial island and run mysteries then mines rune ess, A can run up to 6 accounts at once on a good connection per computer "S" runs 10 ess miners and sells the ess for cash which he sells for $au, he makes over 500$ australian a week from selling gold he made via autoing. This is why autoing needs to be stopped.

It's called a proxy. What Jagex needs to do, is find the developers of these programs, and take legal action. :? You cant proxy your modem/network adapter id.

dude do you know how easy it is for any idiot to figure out the new ids the day after it changed? your suggestion sucked. altho id like to say, without autoers ess would cost a buttload since you have to be an idiot to mine ess. Why? No-one has yet posted one single reason as to why they want these items untradeable other than their own irrational fear of someone else getting something that they might want. have you read all the posts? people have made very valiable points (which i agree with) as to why these items should be untradeable. People spend hours and hours training here to save up pazzaz points and get the robes. other people just spend there money and buy them. it just doesnt seem fair. jagex has it all backwards...the holiday items should have been tradeable (they are gone after a few days and then they work up value), the infinity robes should not be tradable (they are here to stay, all the value will do is decrease until everyone has them.) all you rich people need to stop buying your items and maybe acually work for them! so i back making them untradeable totally Other people got their money from the tree and bought everything? do you realise you have to work for money? dont? im not suprised- i dont understand you newbs- you dont want to make barrows armors untradeable and want these items to be untradeable??? whats wrong with you people A lot of these rich players "earned" there money by scamming friends, using key loggers, macroing, picking up party hats off the ground 3 years ago, bug abused in the duel arena ect. Robin hood... he has maybe a billion in scammed/keylogged gold and items, he doesnt sell his items.. Charlie before he got banned had a lot of scammed gold and items, he never sold it.. Zaelon 22 stole a blue and white party hat off thingy, did he go sell it on ebay? nope. These are just the big names that every one knows for every 1 thats known there is 100 that arnt.

Ummm...you're the one not being logical, my friend. Just because it's worth millions, doesn't mean it's going to have some insanely high stats. What about Berserker, Warrior, Seer, and Archer Rings, hmm? They only give +4 to certain stats, and yet they are worth millions. Also...what about the Amulet of Fury? It costs 300,000 Tokkul to buy the stone, along with 90 crafting and 87 magic to make...and yet the Amulet isn't THAT much better than the Glory...and it can't even be charged for teleportation. You might associate high price with high statistics...but I'm being realistic when I say: The Masters Wand won't give more than +20. The ring prices were set by players not jagex. The fury DOES own, but you can get it for free via fight pits/tzok jad. The new wand however costs a fortune. I agree that it will be arround +20 but i still wanted to point out the flaws in your arguement.
