  1. Great guide Sonic! I think I've found a slightly faster way of making body runes, using the (relatively) new death system that respawns you in the nearest 'hub' (in this case Edgeville) when you die. So you start at Edge as normal, and run down to the body altar and make the tiaras. Afterwards, leave the altar and run to the Stronghold of Player Safety, entering through the crevice beside the Training Centre. Then make one of the level 83 roaches aggressive towards you, and wait for you to die. Upon death, you will respawn at Edgeville, right beside the bank. Repeat. Using this method, I was able to do 5 runs in ~8min 20sec, which is roughly 18.5k xp/hour. However, I had 10hp and 40def. Those with higher hp/def might take longer to die. The best part of this method is that dying recharges your run energy, so you can run indefinitely. Also for some reason tiaras are kept upon death, so you aren't losing out on that either.
  2. I think the stack of blocks on the right is the stalk of a giant mushroom.
  3. Mp3tag is a useful little program that can edit the metadata,, useful for renaming tracks and adding album art, etc... Plus, it's free too.
  4. It's also possible to drink a dwarven stout and make the mith plate at 67 smithing, saving you some time and money.
  5. Hey :) Sorry about ditching during the dungeon, didn't know it was going to be a large... and grats on 83!
  6. Got these levels a long time ago, didn't feel like posting it until now: Haven't been playing much for the past week, but during the time I was online I've been training dungeoneering. I was going to take a screenie of lvl 40, but missed it, so here's 41: Oh and today me and Hai Im Rawr decided to become pyromaniacs  For the next 3 weeks I will be on vacation, so don't expect to see any level ups during that time.
  7. yeah, bank space is a problem, especially since we have to bank everything to train dungeoneering. the 10 extra spaces we got this week were awesome.
  8. 95 magic yesterday! Thanks to Hai Im Rawr for coming. Also got 30 dungeoneering but didn't feel like taking a pic.
  9. Think of the unfair advantage that would give to p2pers in pvp/bounty worlds...
  10. Sorry, it's been awhile since I last posted. I got the following levels last week: Then for the past week I did dungeoneering. Didn't like the skill that much on my main, but I realized afterward that dung-ing with other people is a lot more interesting than going at it alone. I have to thank members of the Clan of Ten for helping me get those first few levels, you guys are awesome! Surprisingly, most people did not mind when I told them I couldn't do combat, and I was able to tag along with random strangers  I realized with strangers, it's a hit or miss situation. Sometimes you get people who are helpful and who know what they're doing. Other times, you get people who rarely talk, and take all the drops for themselves, which can get frustrating. Anyway, throughout the entire dungeoneering experience, I've proved that I'm no chicken: Also, with the help of dungeoneering levels, I got this: (somewhat) large image:
  11. The bandages are green? It's been awhile since I've played fog, but I remember them being red before. If that's not it then, it must be the fact that fog is not multi-way combat, yet the crossed swords are there. Oh and a pic: Yay 94 magic.
  12. Yeah, def takes awhile to lvl, but currently I've noticed that I've been getting a def lvl for every mage lvl. Speaking of which, I just leveled to 94 magic :-D One lamp away from 34 defence, so that should happen pretty soon... Am basically out of nature runes now, so I will go do something else besides alching and try to make back the money I've lost from it.
  13. ^ It's from Kingdom Hearts, a video game. Sounds good!
  14. 93 magic today :D Hoping to get 94 by Monday, but we'll see... Also got 33 def, but forgot to get a picture #-o
  15. I haven't updated for awhile because I took a course in summer school, and that's keeping me a little busy. I've still been playing, but I haven't been doing much besides training mage. I got 92 today, and i think i have enough runes left for 93 or 94. Halfway there... It's a little depressing really. 92 seems like a good number level-wise, but when you take a look at the xp, there' s still a long way to go. I just hope 92-99 won't take as long as 1-92... Anyway, here's a funny story: A few days ago a friend asks me how much wizard t (my outfit) costs, and I told him ~900k for the top and bottom. Then a couple days later, I login at the GE. My friend was there too. Coincidentally, he was running right past me, wearing the exact same outfit as me, right down to the hair! What made it even more surprising was that I lagged a little, and I thought it was me that was moving, so I did a double take when I saw two of me. Thought that was pretty funny. Here's a pic, just cuz I thought it was pretty cool. So long for now.
  16. It was Canada Day yesterday, so I didn't play much. The day before, I went to the lumby dummies with another 10hp friend, and got 3 ranged  He was wondering if there was a way to train ranged without getting hp xp, and I told him about the dummies. I thought we could train to 10 range there, but it was capped at 3 . Oh, and I got 91 mage today
  17. Today I saw that I only had ~6k ish xp left until 67 mining, so I went and finished that... in the wildy! Yeah, I died from a reverant. There's a funny story there actually. I went to the steel mine to train because I thought it would be empty, and I was right (world 1 btw). Awhile later, I see a reverant, a lvl52 something or another. I check the top: lvl 7 wilderness. Whew! I'm 60 combat, so I was safe. Minutes later, along comes a lvl 68 vampire. Dodged the bullet again! Apparently, the folks at JaGeX have a sense of humour, cuz then a lvl60 reverant comes along. I died, but managed to return and recover my items. Managed to get 67 mining in the end though. I also spent the rest of my water tabs, so I gotta go back to gop soon.
  18. Over the weekend I did some fishing/cooking. Continued fishing today and got a few lvls: Also spend most of my water tabs and got 72 rc. Made a fair bit of cash from that.
  19. Today was a productive day. Got a couple random events, and got myself 30 def. Did a lot of alching, and apparently, a lot of other people had the same idea: (I'm the guy in wizzy t) All that magic training sure did pay off in the end though. Got 90 magic! And 60cb to boot! Probably going to lay off the magic training for the next week, and focus a little more on skilling.
  20. I saw 'F2p' in w1 a long time ago, thought that was pretty cool
  21. Yeah, I was there this morning :) I considered doing the lumbridge jobs, but 15 jobs/lamp was just too much work. I think a couple of the npcs in lumby still give out jobs. Edit: nvm, they were all removed. Your def pure is awesome as well! Today I was surprised that Myths of the White Lands and Swept Away were made f2p again. I finished those, and thanks to the yummy goulash, i went from 26-29 def  I also got 60 fishing today. Fishing is such a slow skill to train imo, and the only skill more tedious than fishing is mining... Fished about 600 lobs from 57-60, took forever...
  22. Good luck with ur goals! Training def like that must take a looooong time, especially in f2p.
  23. We do it by convincing ourselves that after just one more level in that skill, we'll stop training it. All kidding aside, I suppose that being a 9hper would making things more difficult in f2p.
