We might consider getting some cell directive advances. They are basically group talents.

There was a movie. It just really sucked (or so I've heard).

The Back Room
So on the subject of age of empires: the conquerors, I've figured out an interesting map to play, a 1000 population diplo map of Europe (there are others as well, but Europe is the most interesting). Sure, it would have some rts mechanics, but it would be a lot like Hegemony in terms of the conniving alliances and backstabbing and such. I have a link for a copy of the game, if you'd like (credit goes to Archi), which I can PM to you. It's an easy game to learn and the games are relatively short, so it's not a big commitment, and I think it would be fun to try it out in the tavern. Since I doubt that we have any veterans of the game here, it would be more dependant on making deals and alliances, which is the main draw here I think.

Yes Mather, I have done all of those things. I might not be a member anymore, but I once was. :o Also there are plenty of other places to train cooking for free, much better than a house.

Mather, construction in Runescape is not terribly creative. There's basically only one option for each hotspot.

If only they could make it forty spots, so that everyone in Norway could become an astro-technologist.

Seems like a strange field, astrotechnology. Is this in some sort of university?

I may have lost my Jen avatar in the transition. Trying to search for it on my computer. How does one change the forum skin? I liked the white and bright one from before and I think it moved me back to default.

Silly Archi, the inhabitant of the Golden Throne has to devote all his energies into maintaining a beacon for interstellar travel. He can't spend his time smiting heresy.

They needed an accurate map for places on which they were planning to unleash their imperialistic ambitions and genocidal capitalism. Ya know, so the slave ships can know where to go. (Even though slavery started much later, this is direct evidence that they were planning it all along!)

Neat thing in Age of Empires is that someone figured out how to make a trigger that gives everyone 1000 population instead of the 200 population, so you can actually have a huge economy and a huge military (no one really ever reaches the 1000 pop cap unless they've already won). So you can actually continue to gain power and fight off a few lesser enemies and not suffer the effect of pop caps. Currently diplomatic games on multiplayer are always make alliances at the start and betray at the end, but if we had some people from the Tavern play, I think it would be more interesting than that. Also games only last an hour or two if people really want to kill each other, so it is not too consuming.

Where's the channel?

Joyful all ye nations rise
Uncompromising is probably better, seeing as I am likely going to get corrupted in the very first session.

No problem. :) I will be playing Adeptus Sororitas that I am trying to make into a stealth machine gunner. Not sure if that will ever work out. Though I can't decide whether to take on the title, "The Incorruptible" or "The Uncompromising"

That's a sin. Food is the universal good. No, computers are much more reasonable. Note delicious. Perhaps replace those pastries with some spinach. And a sin to what religion? There is no universal concept of sin.

Well if the goal is compliance, why strike at something that might be necessary for schoolwork? Take away delicious food...
