  1. Should be, launch thematic WMD of your choice. -- Gameranger is very easy and free.
  2. People also betray irrationally for teh lulz, so not really. :)
  3. Actually that's what usually happens there too. Strong players ally with strong players (determined by the composite score on the side), proceed to divide the world amongst themselves, and enjoy a nice worldbuilder (alternatively world war 3). Since there is a pop limit, strong powers frequently enable weak powers to become their allies, build an economic base deep within their country, and military on the outside, this eliminating ability of betrayal. If we played, we probably wouldn't be that good though, and I find it is more enjoyable that way. :)
  4. Do you have the expansion?
  5. I play Age of Empire 2, the Conquerors (which is the expansion) on Gameranger. It's an old game, so probably free by now, :) Most fun game option is without locked teams, so it's just a large diplomatic game of betrayal and such.
  6. Icu, it shows that Germany and France cannot co-exist peacefully without years of intermittent conflict, followed by two world wars first.
  7. I've found that the games with more than one system usually work as roleplay based game. With Pathfinder though, there's always the option for rules-lite. Basically, you just need to find out the value of your saves, your attack bonus, your AC, and spells (if you have them), and just go. It's a lot of improv, and it gives an option for those that want to do some prep with spellcasters and others that don't (personally with rules-lite, I like going with melee for the ease of prep). It takes like five minutes to level (check how much your attributes go up, your saves go up, and your attack bonuses, then grab some items) and it can either turn into a roleplay-heavy game with more improvised combat or head more into the quick hack-and-slash kinda thing, which are both fun and don't need a committed GM (no need for a huge storyline, just maybe write an interesting encounter). If you actually stick with melee, then it is not a pain to go to like level 15-18 and let's you try a lot of insane things.
  8. For the reason that it will turn out to be the chosen one, then don't keep the baby alive.
  9. Light the jungle on fire.
  10. Blow them to pieces and see if there is anything of use in the huts.
  11. Fashion a glove out of the leaves from the trees.
  12. Jen finds Hakon in the wheat field and uses the same procedure that she did on her ice magic with his earth and force and whatever magics that he usually casts. Also heals the random wounds, if there are any.
  13. Sleep dressing?
  14. When I read your (Nex) summary on the various players, I thought we have a pretty good group if we had to tackle a common enemy. I mean, that seems to be a pretty big "if", but it's good that we went for diverse things so in the event someone had to summon a band of "heroes" (aka morally ambivalent murderers), we could team up to do something about it. --- Also, I did not consider that the bandits might have some mages (or alternatively, some of the "magic" that isn't really magic) in their ranks. Perhaps more preparation is necessary.
  15. Aren't the people in a monastery already free of heresy, considering they are monks and probably more pious? That's like preaching to the choir. :P
  16. Interesting, I thought it was agreed that we weren't going to be doing this form of [bleep] for tat exchanges of our superiority. Edit: Makes sense that it is censored.
  17. As her out of session action, Jen heals all the various injuries that she acquired, most notably from when she was clawed in the face by Mather and when she broke her ankle trying to ice skate.
  18. So hilarious!
  19. But who is to say that 2+2=4, when the party says that 2+2=5? #-o And everyone knows that 5 is morally corrupt. PENTAgram
  20. tl;dr > ? I would summarize it concisely, but I didn't read it all the way through. :P
  21. Live their death. :^o
  22. Don't your midterms end at noon?
  23. Insert American term: Friends with Benefits Nex, do you think I know this person or do you think that it is a different circle than I am normally around?
  24. By that, do you mean that it could still be stupid, but not "ipso facto", "you're in a relationship, you're stupid, QED" kind of stupid?
  25. Jen spends the rest of her day carefully healing her arm, feeling for the way her arm currently is and how it should be, and generally spending a good deal of time to heal it and make it work again. If she has any time remaining, she will transplant some saplings to spots near her cove.
