Well, I knew that the session was not today, so I am not near anywhere done. Just thought of a few ideas, and read up on the mechanics of using automatic and semiautomatic weapons, since they weren't available in Crossroads.

Alternatively Earth, say that your computer was not forged in the fires of mount doom and is therefore immune from her powers, unlike the ones given to the kings of men and the dwarves.

If it uses a weapons skill check or ballistics skill check, then it can be dodged. And a weapons skill check can be parried. Basically it doesn't matter how strong the attack is, which is why dodge and parry are useful investments (that I haven't bothered getting, whee). It is only impossible to dodge if it has an area of effect that is larger than your agility bonus in meters (or something like that), but other than that, you can do it.

You can always dodge or parry melee or ballistics attacks quite easily, something that you can't do with magic. Which is why I was a doofus yesterday for not attempting to dodge that energy band thing.

Except Dark Heresy is too deadly to be regular tomb raiders, if we have 50% chance of being waylaid by any random trap. :)

Although they keep it to themselves, they know that blue marble is dimmer than it was in their childhood.

Everything sounds more complicated in Japanese, because the nature of the language is many short syllables.

We're in the unique position that Americans do not have school today. By the time sessions start, Brits are already in the evening, but most Americans are still at school. And if the session started after that, it would be one or two hours shorter. Hence why it's a good opportunity to make one specifically today, and why I brought it up.
