If you were trying to land on a planet full of evolved aliens, they may freak out about the high lead content of the ship's hull and ask you to kindly go away. Alternatively, if there was an evil person on your ship and you had to try to use detect evil to find them from the outside of the ship.

Every time I read about wars of succession, it makes me wonder how family reunions end up, since all the royal families of Europe are basically related. Also, I wish there was a way to back out of a war of succession in EU3, because a conflict over Lithuania (seriously, who cares about Lithuania) brought me (Bavaria, soon to be Germany) and my best chum France into a war. All jokes about French military noobness aside, I was currently restructuring my military (and not expecting a war), so my troops are all spread out and ready to be slaughtered. Compounded by the fact that I tried not to make alliances so I wouldn't be drawn into wars that often, so France brings along Great Britain and Castille, while I bring along a series of OPM vassals that will soon be annexed. Long live the Wittelsbach family of Bavaria! As charming as the Habsburgs and as militarily successful as the Prussians.

Drop rate is actually closer to 10-15% probably. Barrows isn't a good source of money until level 100+, when you can just use a Sara Godsword or Veracs to melee through all the bosses with the same equipment on.- The Back Room
So your goal is more accomplishing the thing than make money? :)- The Back Room
Do you go the magic route or melee? It's much cheaper to go melee if you have the gear.- The Back Room

Every good system for putting people into categories needs a category for people that do not wish to be put into one.- The Back Room
Yes, I agree. The map is very well drawn. The only question is whether it has any depth to it (in the history of the locations and such) or whether such depth could be improvised as the players moved into each area.- The Fireplace
Ultimately it comes down to how much arbitrariness that you're willing to show. Either way is pretty arbitrary, but it's more about the presentation that you're putting out. The reason that Archi has made arbitrary games work is because he has run several games before, and he was benefit of the doubt. So - The Fireplace
