  2. Forgive me if this is totally different from what I was doing before, but I don't remember what I was doing. Jen tries to teleport a decent sized rock several feet, then tries again with an even larger rock if she succeeds. Then she tries to raise five moss-crabs from the ground and dispatches them to hide in the forest and abduct people and animals, bringing her back bones. Finally, she practices manipulating the wind around her tower, making areas with more wind and areas with less wind.
  3. I am thinking of continued plotlines. One moment please.

It's in Zip. How do I unpack that?

Don't uninstall civ 3! Anything but that! How about the windows explorer icons?

    Yep, downloading now.
  7. Just a quick post, since what was done was done (or rather, not done). -Rocco Huh? -Archi That was my definition of pulling back: staying in Asia. Third thing: It doesn't mean that the ships weren't going to go to the site of the battle when the patrol was destroyed. Generally an invasion isn't something that's overlooked. Anyways, the post was from my perspective at the time, and even if I accept something, I'm often too stubborn to actually totally accept it, if that makes any sense.
  8. Well I wasn't exactly going to let Turkey go unpunished for setting me back at all. I'm sure France would have retaliated against Germany (they did, that's why it was a war), and I just happened to have no access to Turkey via the Suez Canal (Big carriers stuffing through small canal isn't that good). So I figured that if he was going to launch more ICBMs, then I was just going to strike once and get it over with. Just so everyone knows my view point, I'd rather have both people get wtfpwned than having me set back the way Archi was describing, since pulling back (I was already pulling back) was not an option. Besides, my navy was pretty unsustainable even at the GDP level I was at, since lots of my military budget (I'd say 80%) was going to my navy. Then when you calculated that report about Italy successfully invading Indonesia, despite encountering naval patrols twice as large as their fleet, I was just thinking "Okay, I'm going to lose out either way on this war, so I might as well get them back too, so that there's a price to pay, rather than just fighting a conventional war where Italy isn't being blamed for invading a country that I control, but Japan was being blamed for invading a country to win it back. It's like the Germans in world war 2 saying that the allies should not try to take back France, because it would cause more civilian casualties. Oh yes, for the 1% system thing, do you suggest a 0.1% thing? If we have spreadsheets, then that would be very easily exploitable. For example, Japan had a trillion dollar surplus the first time the spreadsheet was going through, and ya had to add things to the budget to take it down. :P

Kimako/Enigma/Varius: Total loot found: (2) Ak-47 (average quality, poor condition, 30 round clip, uses 7.62mm) looks like they need repair... (50) 7.62mm rounds (2) M67 grenades (1) thermal scope (for MP5, +1 accuracy) (1) basic bulletproof vest (+1 ballistics defense, +1 melee defense) (1) M-40 Gas mask (+2 chemical, moderate radioactive dust protection) 1200c (You guys figure how to split it) Enigma: (1) Ak-47 (25) 7.62mm rounds 1 grenade 1 gas mask 400 c Kimako: (1) Ak-47 25 rounds 1 grenade 600c Nex: Rest
  10. Nope. At most you'll kill 10% of their forces and delay them. Since I have to go now, you can just put your defensive plans into one post I'll look at for tomorrow. The pronghorns and mini horses start to become more docile as a result of your peaceful tribe culture, though the enlargement efforts have so far failed. This will be treated like a research. (I'll reply to the jungle thing tommorow. Look out for the edit here)

Fair? You get the assualt weapons and I get the thermal scope. Since you also get the ammo, then I should get more money.
  12. The specials do their bombing run, each killing ten or twenty soldiers. That doesn't even dent their numbers, which may number in the thousands. There's a roll once yearly on that, but the average would probaly be a year. Do you want to scout for the forest nearby or the jungle to the east? The scouting party find a group of pronghorns, which are difficult to domesticate but they are still much easier than most other things and provide many benefits. They also find a group of miniature horses too small to carry one of your people.

I have a feeling that the base was secured.
  14. The pantheon of gods prepare their respective elements to wipe out the enemy army. The Earth begins to shake, the winds begin to howl, the sky streaks with lightning, and flash floods strike the enemy army. Despite the ridiculously large amount of carnage that this caused, the army continues to charge at you. The line seems half as numerous, but they seem even more determined to strike you down, reducing their chances of retreat and boosting individual combat.
  15. Retech replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Ross, just loot as many bodies as you can, since I'm sure the NPCs will try to take some too. Then we can split it back at the base. Besides, Freedom people could come at any moment.
  16. The acid works, but the others don't last long enough to be used as traps. ---- The Kinder Gotten would like to think that they are great fishers, except that there is no water nearby. There appears to be water in the Fisher kingdom, and in the jungle to the east.

Kimako grabs as much loot as she can, especially 9mm ammo, weapons, armor, and credits. Then she returns to the Duty base, and tells the leader that the Freedom forest outpost has been secured.
  18. Convieniently, your dragons begin dropping various items onto the enemy army, but they appear more annoyed than fazed. Their column stretches for great length, and despite all your efforts to discern anything, you cannot tell. For precaution, the vassals evacuate up to your hill and begin to build traps/fortifications. (Toughest army in the game so far)
  19. You rolled a two or a one, can't remember. When Grim got his invasion, he rolled a 20! Anyways, the elementals that you send are critically injured and return to your mountain, accomplishing nothing. The Scathe appear to be especially good at secreting acid, and are expected to reach the city by next year. The remaining Scathe that are not digging feed themselves, but don't find anything of much importance.
  20. Retech replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Kimako tells the Duty squad members to charge forward and stab them, or otherwise kill them. She assists with that as well.
  21. Nothing really much to respond to here. Anything else? :P
  22. Your scouts report a rather large contingent of soldiers heading towards your mountain, perhaps to attack your mountain, or your vassals. The Scathe think that this is a brilliant idea, except that digging through hundreds of feet of solid rock is not easily accomplished in a reasonable amount of time.
  23. The small camp is easily subverted, and you now have a thousand assorted nomads under your control, assuming you don't want to eat them. Your attack on the huge city fails, mainly because your Scathe have trouble climbing up the mountain. The advanced forces make it about half way up. You have the choice of building a camp and waiting for the rest of them to come up, or press forward. You also have a feeling that you might have to be smarter than just going into infiltrate, as it's likely the city has powerful gods. The vassals seem to understand you fine with hand signals. The Scouts find a thickish jungle, with arching canopies and the screeches of various animals.
  24. Retech replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Kimako has the squad members go in front to fire at the freedom members, while she picks them off from the back. Then she tells the squad to split up and look for more enemies in pairs, with one squad member staying with her and one squad member to go to the roof to help Enigma. If she encounters any freedom member, then she attacks with the MP5. If the squad members report that the entire area is secured, then Kimako starts looty looty the bodies. (Two headshots, awesome! :))
  25. I think that the ICBMs were more of an example of that, since people really had no idea that I was at a point where I was going to use the anthrax. Miscommunication I guess.
