The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
^ But there weren't any Japanese troops on the island, except for POWs.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Huh? They kicked Italian troops out of Indonesia, to be replaced by the peacekeeping force.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Australia has the most advanced exosuit in the world. Japan is 2.5 years behind them, and it appears that it can't fall behind or get ahead, because of the way the tech system is set up. The UN kicked Italy out of Indonesia, that's fine with me.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Except I had the country in the first place, and Italy invaded Japan. So if I invaded California, we have a war, shouldn't the Federation get their land back?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Japan joins that world group thingy, with North Korea in it. Japan asks for South Korea back, promising that North Korea shall be hailed as a fellow state after the great victory over the Europeans. ---- Italy still can't use it for waging war, right?

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Japan tells the UN that if the UN can possibly consider the provisional government that was set up during an invasion, the sole government of Indonesia, then it has no moral authority and that Japan will not listen to the UN advice or recommendation unless the Indonesian goverment which was democratically elected gets reinstated. Japan compares the UN to the United States during the 1800-1900s, where the CIA helped overthrow democratically elected regimes to have pro-American regimes installed. Japan also states that economic aid from Italy is interference in domestic affairs, as stated by the Federation government, and has the economic aid blocked, as there are plenty of jobs availible from Federation companies in agriculture and other fields, and economic aid would destabilize the region (Like Archi was saying about how giving free stuff doesn't help).

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I don't think you quite understand how moderation works....I tell you what happens, not the other way round. I still don't understand what you're talking about. Normally when UN peacekeepers go into a country, they're basically preventing genocide and stuff. I don't understand why I still don't control the government in domestic business, like repairing roads and stuff. Or is the UN doing that too, for free. The Federation asks the UN to give the Indonesian government nominal control over domestic policies, or the UN can do that themselves and therefore pay for it themselves.

I don't like infantry either. I'm only researching exosuits because I don't like a nation having a specialty that they can then use as leverage. Instead, I can use it as leverage, since exosuits are necessary in the Australian army (being so small), while if everyone had them, it wouldn't be any harm to me. ---- Well I still control the Indonesian government, which goes ahead and starts repairing war damage.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
But I still control the nation, if not directly. So projects continue as usual on the Indonesian islands, and Japanese aid workers begin burying the dead in proper one person graves. A national day of mourning (I don't know what day the invasion was, but basically the invasion day) has been set up for the bombing of Tokyo/South Korea and the invasion of Indonesia.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Archi, Japan just offered white peace to the enemy powers, and I think Ross sorta accepted, and Rocco wavered on it. UN response to Turkey not immediately agreeing to a white peace (peace without conditions)?
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
^ That works too. Whole point is to share the exosuit research around. :P
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
With Archi, money doesn't do anything. 1 billion does the same as 10 billion, apparantly. Anyways, if Ross and friends don't agree to the peace treaty, then you can join my exosuit research, as long as you contribute. Basically as long as we're at war, I'm doing everything possible against you.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well it would basically be dead, but it would still have a navy that just needed maintanance. Then Japan could lease parts of it to other countries for money, and rebuild. Of course, I would rather destroy myself and all of you than losing Indonesia. I don't you think you feel the same way about that. ---- You're not exactly helping me with this Indonesian affair, so why should I keep exosuits exclusive?
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
In the uberfuture, exosuits become standard, and with all this research he'll have the best ones. Retech, they won't return Indonesia until the conflict ends, and it won't end until I agree to a treaty, so I essentially control when you get it back. Threatening me doesn't help that cause. Well I'm offering a white peace, which is basically peace without victory or defeat. That's basically the most UN thing you can ask for, so really, you're just making the war last longer when it doesn't need to. Besides, it's basically peace anyways, since if either side attacks, the other will retaliate with superweapons, and both sides are dead. Well, I guess Japan might not be dead. :P --- Japan offers Russia the chance to join in on its exosuit research, which is only 2.5 years behind the Australian project.

Don't you think that's a bit strong for a weapon that you can store indefinitely? Then you pop up and throw ten or twenty, and you've beaten a mob.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
That are only 2.5 years ahead of the Japanese-Scandanavian exosuit projects.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
If anyone attacks, they will be hit by WMDs. It's not like we have a territorial dispute, and we both send soldiers to it, and it becomes a minor war. It's like if you invade my islands and somehow overcome my defences, which is when I will use WMDs. ------ That's what happens when WMDs aren't banned in the game rules. And I'm not in the UN, so they'll only intervene if I used them, which I would have justification for. Still waiting for Indonesia to be returned though...
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Just as a general warning: Any further hostilities will be met with WMDs.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Basically it just means general end to hostilities, and that's pretty much it. So no concessions for either side, just end the war.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
And about the "white peace" treaty?
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Awesome war against Spain in EU3. I fought off a total of 50k troops from Aragon with only 5k of my troops of Naples. Unfortunately, after the peace treaty, I was in so much debt that I defaulted repeatedly on my loans and went bankrupt. <_<

I'll do my best, but I don't think Ross will let you make 150 grenades.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Duct tape.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Exactly, but when the conflict ends, then Indonesia will still be in the Federation. Of course there's only two ways that the conflict can end: massive genocide on both sides or a peace treaty right now. ---- Mather, how would that work?
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I missed Archi's posting saying this? Basically the UN is taking over Indonesia, and when it doesn't think that Japan is going to go genociding everyone, then it'll go back under Japanese control.
