  1. Jen asks the mages in the Ivory tower if there is anyway if they could make her an ice phoenix familliar, using the deceased golem's life crystal.
  2. That's not the issue. I couldn't deal with a war when I was busy, since they were still attacking me. I was already dealing with the damage, but war takes up a lot more time than rebuilding. ----- Oh yah, and somehow North Korea took South Korea even when Japan and North Korea were friends.
  3. To save Rocco from quitting, I think he should get an interesting tech that I haven't thought of in compensation for the ban on ICBMs. Of course I'm still hoping Sere can overturn the wtfpwn on Japan, so I can come back and play again. If I do get to play again, I'll stop my imperialising, since it seems to lead to situations where I can't check on my country often enough. Not that I want to stop being an imperialist power.
  4. Proposal: Everything reverts to the way it was before. ICBM tech turns into another tech of your choice, of equivilant budget expenditure (for example, maybe you have fertilization tech and Turkey is producing large amounts of crops). Of course if that was going to happen, then the damage from the ICBMs would have to be reversed, since you used them already, so you wouldn't be able to get a refund on them. Of course on the bright side you knocked me out of the game, which I think was your goal.
  5. Jen heads to the Ivory tower. She asks one of the fellas there to help re-animate her poor Wubbles.
  6. Actually my navy is mainly hundreds of destroyers. And for every supercarrier, there are 5 frigates. Frigates just happen to be anti-submarine ships. :P
  7. ^ Like the Russian-Chinese war, for instance. ICBMs and other weapons of mass destruction just make the game end a lot quicker, especially when the reasons that nukes were banned in the first place was that if Russia and the US had a billion nukes...the world would've ended several years ago.
  8. ^ Well essentially Rocco had an infinite supply of ICBMs that I couldn't retaliate against, and I couldn't do anything to fix my country for the week while being attacked, because I wouldn't be able to keep up with it. We could have it that missle defence tech changes into an equal tech of different measure. Why not make it into short-ranged missle tech?
  9. Jen reads the note. She makes sure that she is still aware of the things around her. (She's already out of the cave? Yippee!)
  10. Oh well, if it's a trap then I'm walking right into it. :) Jen walks through the exit thingy.
  11. This application has failed to start because d3dx9_35.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. (I've already reinstalled four or five times)
  12. Jen tries to ignore the voices, and continues down along the trail of footsteps, careful to watch for traps and stuff.
  13. ^ But it's new! :wall: At least it was only ten dollars. I'll try returning it though.
  14. Jen clambers up the bank, and looks for the signs of the swordsman's footsteps. If she sees them, then she follows then, careful for traps and any ambushes.
  15. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! At least I have a handy dandy life crystal now. Jen jumps into the river, following the way of the swordsman.
  16. I know, but he said he agreed with me, but I quit for a different reason, so I pointed that out. Never buy a game from Amazon. That's what I learned.
  17. Jen hurredly puts the life crystal back into Wubbles before trying to find a way out of the cave.
  18. ^ I only quit because my country was in ruins and I didn't have time to fix it. If only I had the time, it would've been really fun. --------- Europa Universalis doesn't seem to be starting. It keeps saying I'm missing a file. <_<
  19. ^ Are we running from zombies or are we zombies?
  20. I just got Europa Universalis complete for 10 dollars off Amazon. Unfortunately, it didn't come with a manual.
  21. Mather, the Japanese empire doesn't exist as an empire as soon as I blow up Turkey. Hegemony became too fast-paced for me, especially when I'm being attacked every few hours with WMDs on the busiest week of the year.
  22. ^ I don't have ICBMs. Oh wait, I do! Well, technically they're long ranged cruise missles, but same thing! And there's no land assualt. --------- Oh, if the attack goes as planned and Turkey is crippled so badly that even the SR could take over, we COULD rewind this so the whole affair never happened. After all, I can play in a slow-paced game of occasional wars and country development. That global warming stuff was occupying too. Oh yah Rocco, keep this in mind. In my final attack, I have nothing to lose from this. One figures that I would use all the various weapons of mass destruction I've been saving up. Toodle Pip!
  23. ^ I don't think that the events were idiotic. Infact, they were quite fun! It's just that it happens to coincide with the busiest week in the whole year for me, and I can't keep up. Twas a very fun experience. Oh Rocco, there's one more surprise coming your way before Japan becomes the peace loving country of yesteryear. Enjoy!
  24. I don't have time to respond to attacks 24 hours a day, especially during a busy week. If the game moved slower, then I think I could've participated, but it's become too fast-paced for me. I'll still be around, on the Dungeoneering thread.
  25. Like I said, I'm too busy to respond to any of this now, and since it looks like you'll keep attacking, I am quitting Hegemony. I can't keep up with this when my schedule just got a whole lot busier. . This means that all countries in South-East Asia and Japan have reverted to their original status, as per rules of the game.
