  1. Okay, my point is that in both circumstances, there were NO CASUALTIES. Let's see the chain of events that leads up to Abbysnia: Russia and Switzerland overthrow Somalian government Somalia, with assistance from the above, attacks Ethiopia with chemical weapons, killing their army with no casualties for Somalia Switzerland buys lots of weapons for Ethiopia The same Ethiopian army that was killed by those chemical weapons attacks and conquers more than half of Africa Africa does not rebel or object, compared to the hub bub people brought up with Japanese political take over in South East Asia. What's more ironic is that more people died in the political take over than the military one. Chain of events leading to Poland: Poland annexes lots of countries, no casualties. I don't see much of a difference, except that the first one was more planned out. Both should automatically revert to how it was before, with no changes.
  2. I opposed Abbysnia from the beginning, but this isn't how it's supposed to work. I think we should have a discussion on the topic. I vote to disband both the Polish empire and Abbysnia, simply because the rule has to be clear cut, one way or another, whether such direct control is involved. Small godmods are okay in my opinion, where there is little consequence, but we can't have all these hive mind countries all over the place. Oh, that reminds me. After receiving arms from Japan, India pwnzerfies Nigeria, before giving it to Japan.
  3. Japan asks its scientists if using land-based micro organisms to help sea-based algae would be feasible, on giant nets. Since bacteria death is the primary problem with global warming for algae, would it help?
  4. Or people will think that you're a hypocrite for taking a country, after saving so many lives. About the PR thing though, it's no wonder that I haven't ever successfully invaded a country, despite having the largest navy in the world. Go figure. Japan begins a massive aquaponics venture in the seas surrounding the Phillipines. The goal: double the Phillipine land area and put it into productive farming. The goal is to keep Japan 100% agriculturally sustainable, despite losing land area due to global warming, and possibly begin to export foods to the rest of the world, who might be affected in massive droughts. The project will be fully completed in a decade, though it will be ready in stages, further improving supply. (Archi, what do you say about the feasibility of planting more algae in larger areas, to compensate for the fact that each bit of sea produces less algae?)
  5. (Earth, it's a joke. It doesn't actually do anything) Japan asks countries to stop buggering each other (using Dusty's word) about things, saying that though protection of civilians is a noble goal, it doesn't mean that you should prepare your forces to invade another country at the slightest possibility of a single civilian being killed. Japan also asks Spain not to fire missles into Lisbon.
  6. The clown appears completely dead, but he appears to be tunneling through 200,000 feet of concrete per year. See you in four years!
  7. Despite the massive injuries sustained by the various attacks, the clown is motivated by his desire for food, and his corpse begins lurching forward. It's clear that he's dead, but somehow he's still trying to eat you.
  8. Well I think Spain is going to post further invasion plans.
  9. -Presses Red Button- An obese clown with smeared make up saunters into Rocco's living room and walks up to him. It looks like the clown hasn't had anything to eat in days. The clown starts chomping down on Rocco's head.
  10. -Prepares big red button to launch Operation Destroy Istanbul- Oh, this? It's a call button for a clown to visit my nephew in the hospital. He's very sick with...congedidyvasculoritibronchialcontusititus.
  11. Japan laughs out loud. It would've given Turkey 50 billion dollars if it called off the war so that Japan could've continued on Nigeria.
  12. Japan recommends that Spain make a truce with Portugal, perhaps instead merging with them into the Iberian republic, instead of invading them. Japan also asks that Turkey put its missles on stand-by while the truce between Spain and Portugal is worked out.
  13. It is a private message. Japan asks Turkey to give Spain a break, since they have a very inexperienced leader and any nation playing hardball wouldn't be very nice.
  14. Also, if you were deciding, killing civilians isn't exactly a good thing. After all, Turkey declared war on me for killing 200, sooooooooo yah.
  15. Posidon, you have to PM that to Archi for him to work out.
  16. Errr, cleansing trillions of liters of water every year? Do you think that's remotely feasible?
  17. Japan continues efforts on the Salt-power membrane, allowing them to both provide fresh water and produce electricity. Then they will be installed in irrigation canals, to help prevent flooding and to produce electricity to power pumps designed to push out the water.
  18. Japan responds that the strain of algae that they are using cannon survive in the open ocean, eliminating the risk of spreading. They need special conditions in order to grow, which specifically only occur in certain parts of the world, and in man-made conditions.
  19. Japan begins stockpiling non-perishable food items in giant vaults they have constructed. The main item: lots and lots of rice, coupled with frozen raw fish, as it is a large part of the Japanese diet. Meanwhile, Japan plans to take advantage of the flooding by purifying the water of salts in giant membranes (Mather, do they work that way?) before they naturally flow into cisterns and irrigation systems, increasing the yield of rice, rather than decreasing it. Furthermore, floating platforms are being planned to grow rice as well. They can dip and rise back up, to water the entire system in one go.
  20. Japan asks Scandanavia if the salt-power membranes also remove the salt from the water. If it can, then Japan begins stockpiling fresh water in giant man-made aquifers, to prepare for global warming. It is expected that much of the fresh water will come from treated salt water. The Algae can't grow out of the platforms. That's why I built them.
  21. Luckily that project comes into play. Japan continues its development of floating crop farms. (Continued on Hydroponics)
  22. The GDP of Japan has increased to 13.4 trillion dollars (I don't calculate yearly, but I have a formula which I use), led in part by strong export growth of algae fuels and algae cars. However, global warming shows signs of disrupting the algae industry, by killing off valuable bacteria in the oceans. Experts say that algae will not be able to supply the world's needs within a decade or so. Japan seeks other options, such as growing algae in open bays. It is expected that algae growth will be less productive, so planting more areas may be needed. New algae farms have begun in Ghana, Ivory Coast, and one of the hardier varieties is being grown in the Northern Japanese islands. Furthermore, moss oil is also being considered, crossing algae and moss genomes in order to begin growing a version of algae on land. It is expected to be less productive, but may increase yields. Furthermore, large floating platforms are being/have been constructed off the coast of Japan. They are essentially giant floating nets, capable of holding billions of tons of algae. The goal is that by increasing production, the less efficient growth of algae will be offset by increased production. Meanwhile, Japan has begun to breed organisms which live symbiotically with the algae, potentially increasing growth. In exchange for living space, the organisms naturally fertilize the algae. They are expected to be used in large amounts. Project Monarch has been expanded to 100 billion dollars yearly.
  23. Either you're insulting Canada, or you like John McCain a lot. Please tell me it is the first one. Rocco: I like John McCain Retech: Japan attacks Turkey with biological weapons
  24. Smart plan. It's like the Russians trying to elect John McCain.
