The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well, I hope the operation works. (Assuming it's not like an uber bomb or pirate attack :P)

I was going to overthrow the government anyways. Oh well, at least you're doing something about it. :) ----------- Japan works on improving its radar and imaging systems to counter the stealth abilities of today's bombers.

Well you need levees of course. Oh well, since there are never any tsunamis anymore, the wall won't be constructed. ----- Archi, could you color in the Philippines, South Korea, Indonesia, Japan, and Papau New Guinea a different color as the Japanese Free Trade Area? ----- Japan asks another country to send troops to Somalia, because of the threat of massive civil war if nothing happens.

Somalia does have sovereign rights, but most of the country isn't even controlled by the government. So my troops (and any others if they want to help) will just blow up all the rebels and return the country to government control. Japan asks to purchase twenty five million barrels of oil for a total of one billion USD.

Rocco, could you construct your part of the anti-tsunami levee around Malaysia? It would be much more effective with it. In other news, Japan is preparing to land troops in Somalia to defeat the pirates and rebels. After forming a decent government, the territory will be turned over to the UN for administration. The military will be disbanded (Somalian) and UN forces will keep the peace. Anyone want to help? Japan begins the construction of short ranged interceptor fighters. These fighters have no bomb dropping capacities, but they are generally cheaper than longer ranged fighters and are more heavily armed for the role.

Well your population would also increase. So it would be sharing 120 with 12 people, or maybe less if your growth rate is low, but I'm pretty sure Brazil has a high birth rate. So you would have to maintain economic growth to keep pace with your population.

Mather, the Japanese government will purchase in bulk if you reduce the price to $40 a barrel. Also Doom, doesn't GDP per capita rise much slower than GDP? It would seem it would only go up a teensie bit each year.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Well I guess since it already exists...Japanese researchers seek to work with other nations to complete oil-free plastics to be shared with the world for free.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I thought random scientific break throughs were automatically shared. For example my moss power thing was automatically shared. ------ Mather, how much are you selling a barrel of oil for? The government of Japan will purchase lots of oil, at a discount of course, since oil is less used today.

Maybe sometime this afternoon. I don't want to conflict with Dungeoneering, since that's like the foremost game. :P

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
The Japanese automakers have been working with the Japanese government to create a new fuel tank which is safe, efficient, and works on both 100% biofuels and 100% gasoline, or any of the specified combinations in the middle. Japan shares the moss-oil process that its scientists have developed (it actually exists) to SIRO TEMP. Countries may now create biofuels using moss, specifically one that grows best in humid areas (these ones are more oily and suitable for use). However, the Japanese automakers are still five or so years ahead of their American counterparts on this research (I basically shared how to make moss-oil). This process is not close to perfected, and can only be grown fast enough for local consumption, but it offers a ray of hope for communities with lots of moss...and a single car. Japan has also begun an infrastructure project to build levees on all the major islands, in order to protect against tsunamis and storm surges. India is urged to construct and connect a levee in Malaysia, so that the levee is more effective.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Sorry for the double post, but this is more important than the other thing: Japan asks the UN if a coalition of soldiers can invade and restore peace into Somalia. After the rebels are driven out and a coalition government is formed, then the country will be handed to UN governance (light blue color). The terms are basically that the state is demilitarised, and is under protection of the UN. Japan also asks if any nation would like to join the coalition. After Somalia, Sudan is expected to be converted into UN governance. --------------- It doesn't, because you could just get a visa. <_< They're spies, so I'm assuming that they would want to stay longer than a week, so they wouldn't come in as tourists.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Japan, the wealthy, bids the paltry sum of 125 million. ------ Oh yes Archi, your spies get stuck at the passport line. Their government must first request a workers visa in order to get into the country.

The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
Can't we just have someone else take over Australia (an actual player that starts it as his first country) if someone comes along? We could have Australia as a giant radioactive wasteland for now. Besides, country doesn't mean continent.
-
The Hegemony (12th Feb = 2018, Part 2)
I think it should mean that changes made to the country should be erased. Otherwise we'll have sinking continents. <_< Oh no, another Atlantis!

Dungeoneering
Jen tears her leg a bit to get free of the spikes. (Since it's already in her leg, so it only hurts a bit to take it out) Then she tries to heal her legs.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen attempts to uproot the spike off the floor with ice magic. Then she tries to create a small step ladder behind her for her hands so that she can lift herself off the spike.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen tries to freeze the other spikes so that they aren't sharp with her ice staff. If she succeeds, then she attempts to lift herself off the spike, then tries to heal her leg.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen goes merrily on her way to the next encounter.
-
Dungeoneering
Jen attempts to heal her arm so that it becomes usable.
