(Do we have any powers, or just the natural ability to use a weapon) Jen begins climbing up one of the pillars to see examine the roof.

I don't think a sword is an option.

Is there a format you can give us to create a character?

Doom, could you possibly send me the stats of your standard battleship and their old PP cost? I'm going to substitute in my own weapons and armor (Coilguns and Iridium Monopole Plating) to reflect the differences in our ships. I'm just horrible at taking a stab at things (I either make it that a missle could blow up a planet or a bullet couldn't shoot through a mushroom(

I'm sending my stats tomorrow. I have to go for the night. ---------------- Also, my ships are still based on the PP system. I thought that was simplest. Can you give me a baseline for a battleship so I can work from there?

I'm adverse to the money concept. If you have tons of money and a mob of people, there's still a limit as to how much that mob of people can do.

Archi, I believe I've sent you fleet specs a while ago. I'll update them sometime soon.

Hegemony Argument Thread
When I made the large coilgun, the purpose was a powerful weapon to bust a powerful ship's armor. It's not a planet destroyer, and it fires at the speed of normal projectiles. It would be more accurate though, as the longer the barrel, the more accurate a weapon gets.

Ok, so what is your ship production rate? PP is necessary in some way because you need at least a PP equivilant for the power of your ships.

Frankly monetary does not work. If we're going that way, then I COULD just say that since I have no money system and my people work for free, then all my ships are free. Going with that line of thought, I have billions of people, so I should be able to build millions of ships. Then we end up with a problem. So to reiterate, money does not work, because you can just make more of it or disregard it.

Can you explain what a point defence laser is? I'm ignorant on these subjects. Oh Archi, instead of writing Dihydrogen, you could simply state deuterium.

Well they're easy to keep and maintain because they're eggs. Then they're hatched and loaded on a ships to travel to a system. This takes a week in RL, since my egg storage facility is a week away. So during those seven years, they're trained and they arrive battle ready. No need to feed them; they come with a small store of food, since they're expected to die within a year anyways. ----- Remember Archi's laser-prism thing? Now imagine if he had a hundred of those ships. Yeeeeeeeeeep ----- My new strategy to limit the cost is to have a small standing army. It's probaly around a billion. A bit high for a small standing army, but they perform police work (there are also detectives) such as guarding things and... killing murderers.

It would be solid. It requires such a large volume and mass because lasers can easily burn through small material, so I require a mega projectile which can't be intercepted, though it can be dodged.

My offer is the capacity of training and equipping 100 billion troops within a week for use by your armies in war-time.

So what weight do you think would make sense for a weapon of that size?

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Rocco, how much do you spend on each station and how much does each of your stations produce? Remember the trade off is the more you put in stations, the less you put into your fleet. ------ My fighters cost 5 and are worth 10. I thought that was how we were doing it.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Yep, sounds fair. On the other subject, the whole point for the massive coilgun was to fire big projectiles for long distances without massive heat.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
So essentially Rocco you have a PP value of 20,000, if your fighters are the same as the rest of ours.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
The Sa Matra is 100,000 PP fight value atm, so all ships can be at the max 20,000 PP. Unless the old Sa Matra is retired or destroyed of course.
