  1. It probaly does. I wonder the effects on consciousness. Is it that they themselves are a different perception, the original perception shifts, or what?
  2. Jahrium is stable and radioactive. Isn't that contradictory? Jens Stoltenberg could be a candidate. :P
  3. Right, so apparantly I have a species that is far superior to normal humans, at the cost of losing 50% or so of my population. That's alright, I'll get that back in about two years. Anywho, the industrial output for consumer goods, as well as tanks and subs, has increased dramatically as new male workers enter the skilled workforce. Though the production of spaceships capable of fighting is the same (there aren't enough stations to have all the new workers on it), transports, ground defences, and other things built on land/sea have nearly doubled in production. Scram cannons are being installed to existing defences on all planets, adding another layer of defences against space-borne invaders. ----------------------------- Meanwhile, Lichtens are heading out to the polls today to elect a Prime Minister and parliament, somewhat following the British parliamentary system. The two parties currently in majority are the Royalists and the Equalitists. After the election, parties will have to create a coalition government with a majority of the parties. ----------------------------- Oh wait, it's four years. I have to double my population to reach pre-existing levels. ------------------------------ Oh yes, and I'm banning all trade with the SFW. Anything with their logo, aside from a diplomacy ship will be shot. Within that ship, they can land in a dock, but the dock has a fence around it, with anyone going over without authorization will be shot.
  4. Does Stargate respect the current laws of physics? Are any concepts used in Stargate impossible under the current laws of physics? Are any concepts used contraversial with the scientific community?
  5. What's the difference between Stargate and real physics? I haven't found any indication that they're related.
  6. Maybe you would know if you watched Stargate! ---------- Note: I do not watch Stargate.
  7. I think that my only problem with Naquadah is the fact that if you put all of it and light a match, you could blow up the universe.
  8. It's like a female period. There's going to be one egg every year that comes out, no matter what. The others are just like casings for eggs that don't have anything worthwhile inside.
  9. I think you're misunderstanding my statement. No matter how many egg piles the person lays, only one is going to be fertile. It's like with a human female. No matter how much sperm the egg encounters, it's only possible for the egg to become fertilized once.
  10. 1. They're not incredibly smart. The smartest they could be would be as that of an average human, as he spliced in human DNA. It's more likely they are considerably dummer, as it was only a small fragment. 2. Hypothetically, but they can't just constantly pump out new children that fast. 20% was pretty much the limit already. I did the math a while ago. I made the limit such that out of all the egg piles in a year, an average of one egg becomes fertile. Now you know they have an incentive to make as many egg piles as possible, but it doesn't mean they'll become fertile. So basically, either you can break the limit on my race's reproduction (I put a cap on to be fair) or say that it was impossible. ------ What's that symbol in your signature?
  11. 1. Well since my entire population essentially flamed up into civil war, it was pretty obvious that the intelligent males had control. 2. Exponential growth would favor the larger population, and they don't have a higher breeding rate. Humans definitely don't reproduce faster than fish, unless you're a polygamist and have a billion wives.
  12. Yah, they would reproduce quite often. My point is that they couldn't overtake the general male population. ---- 10 people increasing 20% a year or.... 50 billion people increasing 20% a year. One increases by 2 people; the other 10 billion.
  13. You can do that? *Calls Mather over* I'll buy all your magic for this lollipop! ------------------------------------ Rocco, you know they can asexually reproduce. Besides, they have human levels of intelligence, which frankly isn't that high compared to most females. Still wouldn't outcompete other males, which reproduce every day!
  14. I think you're imagining it as a queen that produces trillions of eggs per second. The queen doesn't breed, except when they clone her so that her mind carries on to the next body. Also, you're assuming that a small group of prisoners who have been branded with human intelligence, could somehow out-compete billions of existing males in a matter of years. ------------ Also, Naquadah should be allowed, but in extremely small amounts. And the doubling thing doesn't make much sense, but I guess the other applications are feasible, in SMALL AMOUNTS.
  15. Well, if you say "no", then it's still probaly going to happen. Unless it's telling Hex to go away. ----- Due to fortunate circumstances and evolution, males that are stupid reproduce more and are more willing to work in dangerous jobs, leading to the males becoming stupid again. Hooray for fortunate circumstances! ---- It's a monopole Mather. The current is just to activate/deactivate them in a row, so that the magnets don't exert any back pull.
  16. *Prays that Rocco is the one that has it* Sorry Archi, I was mad, and I apoligize. Now that I've cooled off, I'd like to explain the reasons why I'm mad: 1. You messed with my species, which I thought was under my jurisdiction. 2. You used that messing up of my species to justify a domestic insurrection, which was perfectly plausible and acceptable, if not for number one. 3. There was no one to say "That doesn't make any sense" or to roll so that the odds were close to impossible that you can alter an entire species by mutated a few individuals. Oh yes, I'm offering all Lichten citizens on Japan the chance to return to Erikio. All charges against them have been dropped, and they'll be welcomed back into Lichten society. Also, they don't have any growth inhibitors. They'd probaly jump at the chance, since Japan is very overpopulated. Transports are shuttling people back and forth. ------- How many people are alive in the Capiahs? One is all dead, but the other one has a few people left. Anyways, I'm dropping virophage bombs, which contain bacteria designed to eat that specific kind of virus. The planet should be back to usual within a few years, so I'll start shipping my people back in, even though there isn't much wildlife left. ------- Oh yah, railguns are foolish. They create too much friction. I suggest coilguns, which generate little to no heat, and they can be powered extremely cheaply (iridium monopoles with alternating currents).
  17. Archi, maybe you should start penalizing them for the super weapons platforms with a super deadly random event. I've been the only one hit, and I haven't done anything. <_< -------- If males could suddenly become intelligent like that, then certainly the event seemed fair. Now, you're just grasping at straws to justify your unfair actions. I'm no longer a fan of random events, and it might become even worse with the invincible pirates of Aeroiki.
  18. Well it's not like Germany became a Jewish state. <_< ----------------- You also have to account for the fact of different SPECIES, which I think you're comparing me to ---- Germany. I think it would be better to compare me to Great Britian in the American Revolution, except with more resolve in getting back the land and the people. It's not like the Americans would have joined the Iroquois Confederacy to run away from me. (Not comparing Dusty to the Iroquois Confederacy, he's much stronger than that)
  19. Remember, they're not being exterminated anymore since the Lichten empire has become democractic. I fail to see why they wouldn't rejoin their own species if the empire has basically gone to their view.
  20. It would be incredibly hard to enforce a one child policy. Namely because a person could just sit down and drop and egg, then be on their way. Just so you know, it feels incredibly good to them when they do that.
  21. How bout swimming around a planet?
  22. Doesn't swimming count as a buncha different events? That's how Michael Phelps brought home 8 gold medals. :)
  23. Maybe they could've been bred, but they couldn't have come in.
  24. Well keep in mind Archi, prisoners are to Lichtens as cattle are to Humans. We brand them to make sure we know who they belong to. It would be pretty obvious that they would be prisoners, since they were the only ones who could even be in the employ of the SFW (Lichtens aren't big fans of travelling, except to go on a pilgramage to Japan)
  25. Ummm.... they can breed asexually too ya know. Anyways, are you trying to make males rape my women? That's what you get when you're raised by a human... ---- Also, wouldn't they have left after they dropped off water fruit? I think people would get suspicious if a HUMAN was breathing UNDERWATER.
