  1. Ok, to the above statement. Assuming we do try to wipe each other out with viruses, we would both fail, as your rigged rolling system would prevent both of our viruses from reaching each other's land. That being said, if that did happen, he would not be able to hurt my people with the viruses, as I've been constructing underground tunnels on all my planets to prepare for such an inevitability. Also noting, if somehow the virus penetrated my tunnels and killed all my people, there are still the billions of eggs that I am storing, potentially turning into trillions of insta-troops in the future. Isn't that great? An army that can be called up within 4 years, yet it doesn't take up any resources off the populace? :D
  2. Sounds fair Archi. Also, I'm pretty sure that if Dusty wanted to destroy me, he could've done that without the 30 billion soldiers. :) ----------- Also, I think that the atmosphere storms would be rather effective, as keep in mind it's the electrical power of a humid planet. Not to mention I'm adding electrical power. Also, intelligent males in the Lichten Empire are now being shot, to make sure that they do not constitute a threat (the Capiahns aren't intelligent either), unless they are escorted as a diplomat. Another option is that they get sterilized (with Licht, it's much more painful, as essentially they electrocute your reproductive organs and stick a giant metallic prod in your butt).
  3. Well Archi, when I was looking back on the thread, I discovered something very interesting... It was Grim who delivered the water fruit; remember he was the retail seller because he was the only one that had the transport capabilities. Aha! So really my people are still dumb, though I probaly still lost Japan anyways, and I'll accept the losses in population. However, Capiah 2 would not be uninhabitable for the next 20 years, so the people from Capiah 1 split themselves between the two. Of course there's still absolute monarchy. ---------------- I better design shields like that as well. Of course Doom, if you're willing to create a perpetually stormy Earth, I can show you a way to block them with current technology. [hide=Today's Progress] [hide=Capiahs] System: Capiah Population: 1,200,000,000 Moons: None About it: Capiah is the most established colony besides that of Japan on Earth. With a quickly expanding population and abundant species of kelp, the settlers are thriving. The relatively large amount of land is still mostly unused, aside from defences, but future uses could be found. [/hide] [hide=Erikio] System: Recea Decimus Population: 50,000,000,000 Moons: None Erikio is the seat of the Lichtes government and homeworld to most of its people. Skyscrapers exist that are taller than almost any structure on Earth, mainly because the buoyancy that the water provides. It is covered by 99% water, with the land harnessed to grow luxury food crops, meat, and defensive installations. [/hide] [hide=Meoxo] System: Meoxo Population: 20,00,000,000 Moons: None -- New Erikio has quickly been upgraded into a full scale military base. Massive underground tunnels snake through the continental shelf and deeper into the sea crust. The majority of Lichtes citizens live here, sheltered from infectious viruses and invading aliens by the limitless fortifications and defences. This is a major Iridium monopole mining base. Deep within the tunnels, the worst of society (over 200 million) trudge down into the mines to get as much Iridium ion as they can. The ones that give above average get a comfortable bed for the night, while those below average can either go back to their homes or go down to get more Iridium to get a bed. 4. Sere, is there a hemp drink my people can have? They can't exactly smoke. <_< ------------ To Archi, the envoy may visit the queen on a specially commissioned ship which is unlocked from the outside. If there is any trouble in the embassy, the ship is infected with bio-weapons. So the envoy can talk to the queen through a glass. Not getting any loopholes here. Oh Archi, how did your prisoners sneak onto my planet again?
  5. Sure, but the personnel support isn't really necessary, as your embassy people have planet wandering privileges with a tour guide. See the mighty thousand foot Kelp! Or a coral bonsai display. Or the thousand foot Manatee, or maybe the tallest building in the local area!
  6. You can have an embassy near the Queen's palace. The only rule is you can only beam in your diplomats and messengers.
  7. Dusty, you could get him to put one in space. Even though you've basically sabotaged my empire and genetically altered my species, I'm still going to give you an embassy area...in the middle of no where with hundreds of guards. You'll have access to the embassy complex so that your people can enjoy themselves in an oxygenated enviroment, containing malls, movie theaters, casinos, and a special phone line that can be patched through specially to the queen. The catch is that the embassy people cannot leave, Lichtens cannot enter, and Lichtens cannot leave, or they will be shot. (Just making sure you don't try to wipe out my species or drop a biological bomb. Which reminds me, there's also a giant glass dome around it, reinforced with particles of Iridium monopole to prevent shattering. ---------- And Dusty, I want to build one off Japan so that all Earth's people could watch events that haven't been seen for ages! After all, people need a break from the usual Olympics and terrible movie theaters once in a while. After all Dusty, you put your prisoners in a Steel Legion. I execute my prisoners, so they have an incentive to murder as many of their colleages as possible, while staying alive. If they try to escape, they're just sucked into a giant vortex which slowly and painfully suffocates them (they could also fight each other so that oxygen remains longer until the next batch of people fall in).
  8. Psst Sere, now that you're hosting the games, split swimming into a buncha different events. I guess while you're at it, track could be a buncha different events too. :)
  9. Well considering that I have billions of people and I execute for things above grand larceny, then I think I can waste a few million prisoners a year for entertainment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Oh yes, in an effort to contain population growth, eggs are now being held in stasis until time of war, when they can be hatched to create a massive army in a short amount of time. This only applies in Erikio, for people in New Erikio are preparing to be transfered to the Capiahs. Eggs are hatched to maintain stable population rates, like replacing the dead. ------------ Egg chambers have been built in the tunnels to hold these eggs. Meanwhile, a special formula is being developed to develop developing eggs into fully grown eggs with its application. Currently, the biological chance is a 2/5ths chance of a developing egg becoming a fully grown egg within a year.
  10. Archi, what do you mean about the death rate?
  11. Is that an arbitrary formula or is it based on a real scientific concept? ------------------------ Erm Mather? Scientists have so far been unable to find a link between quantum mechanics (strong nuclear, weak nuclear, electromagnetism) and gravity. They probaly do cancel each other out in some form, but it's not nearly that simple. The best way to destroy a black hole would be to position several black holes in a way that the various pulls would basically eject matter out of the black hole, thereby making the hole less dense, which would get rid of its light capture effect.
  12. A version of the Miltopian games has been set up in Erikio. The difference is that only Lichten prisoners can compete... to the death! The "athletes" will compete in a variety of enviroments, from tropical jungle to the Sahara desert, to the Frozen Tundra. Also, historical battles will be waged, such as the battle of Japan, with real weapons! Thousands of prisoners can be involved in a single battle, so come and see the bloodshed! ---------- Today's presentation is a re-enactment of the famous sea battles of Earth, between blood thirsty pirates. The "ships" will be constructed of various materials and swung from a giant rope in the arena. To simulate the fact that if you fell into the water, you probaly died, spikes and beasts have been added to the bottom. Who will win: Captain Yar har har or Sea Matey Avast ye Matey! Only time... and hundreds of dead bodies will tell~!
  13. Errr, stop gravity? What? <_<
  14. But, gladiator fights. :(
  15. ~Recent news of the Lichten Empire~ After the tragic loss of Japan, the Lichten Empire is expanding again, with the discovery of a Binary Star system known as Tycus. Five billion settlers have recently landed and sent back transmissions, indicating fair temperatures and calm seas. With that, the Lichten empires has given birth to a new federation of states, the UFLS (United Federation of Lichten States). The members are: The Lichten Empire (Erikio and New Erikio), the Capiahn Federation (Capiah 1 and 2), the city states of Ekedou (Ekedou), the Tycan Republic (Tycus), and the independant territories which share land with Mather. Currently, Tycus A has been colonized, though others may quickly follow. ----------------------------------- ~Election Results~ As election results roll in, results are much as expected. The royalists took home a majority, with equalists coming in with a close 2nd. However, despite the Royalist victory, equalist-like parties received the majoirty of the vote. It's possible that the equalists could make a coalition government with the Industrialists, giving them the majority, though Industralists still had more in common with the Royalists. Royalists: Male Vote: 7% Female Vote: 67% Equalists: Male Vote: 47% Female Vote: 0% Industrialists (Trade): Male Vote: 27% Female Vote: 23% Republicans: Male Vote: 14% Female Vote: 5% Socialists: Male Vote: 5% Female Vote: 5% ------------------------ Combined Vote Total: Equalist-Like Party: 38% Royalist-Like Party: 37% Industrialists: 25%
  16. I'm not talking about in Stargate, but literally, if we made something like that, what would happen?
  17. Okay Mather, say you walk into a matter transporter. You get transported to whoever knows where, free of problems. Everyone else thinks you're exactly the same, but would your own perception be as if it teleported, or would it be that your perception would be gone, but a new perception with the exact same thoughts as you, without being you appears on the other side?
  18. Well I summon Huitzilopochtl, Aztec God of war, to rain fire upon Tokyo!
  19. Hex, they're already creating anti-matter in modern times, albeit in small amounts. They've even formed anti-hydrogen and anti-helium.
  20. Dusty, may I construct an entertainment stadium on the coast off Japan?
  21. How do you get a planet that far away? Archi, can you generate an earth-like planet which is twice the diameter somewhere really far away? :D
  22. The antennae installations I mentioned earlier are online in all planets. On all aquatic/earth-like planets, the powerful waves of various kinds affect the atmosphere, creating constant electrical storms, preventing any beaming technology and transmissions to pass through. There are minute openings in the "shield", which are monitered by ground control.
  23. Well you see, now you can do anything. Mather, how far those rings teleport? --------------- I think teleporting anywhere is definitely unfair. I thought we set up a warp system and that's how fast you can travel. <_<
  24. Well maybe the homes are free? ----- Sere, I'm a representative Democracy now, with extra powers for the queen. Hoooray!
  25. Oh Archi, now that your people are somewhere in deep space, can they still physically affect our world? Besides transmissions of course.
