Of which you still need a nuclear reactor to enrich the Uranium. The heavy water goes down your throat and your cells begin to divide improperly and you go sterile.

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Oh, so even faster than I expected. Well considering I have 100 billion people, of which 10 billion are intelligent females. We can assume that at least 1 billion are capable of working on the project, and they will do so without many negative side effects. Instead of Ultra Steel, I will use Iridium Monopole. Most of the core components will be made in space, which will take 100,000 PP, even though the fighting value is only 20,000 PP, to meet the Sa Matra requirement. Also, I can't use Laser Shifting. You have the plans for it, as does everyone else, so I need to make an encrypted version as well. Of course it has laser shifting though, for the communications with everyone else.

Great, I'll create an orbular object capable of holding five million people sustainably for an indefinite amount of time (occasionally resupplied of course) with a PP of 20,000. It also comes with the standard escorts of battleships and the like and is designed to hold key members of the government in the event of an attack. It isn't designed to move about in normal space, but to flee into warp space, where it can remain for a while. ---------- Meanwhile, a parallel project is being done to figure out a way to transmit transmissions from warp space into normal space without distorting it. A likely approach would be to calculate the amount of distortion between warp and normal space, then sending out a signal which then becomes distorted into a regular transmission.

Ok, how much do you think it would cost and how long would it take to construct a "vessel" which can hold a few million people in warp perpetually and sustainably?

-Looks evilly at Doom's fleet- Haha, just kidding. Well now there's no hope; no one ever goes to war with Doom. Anyways, I am constructing random parts that happen to fit together with lots of work. This includes a five thousand foot coilgun, among other things. :D --------- Also, does a defensive structure which goes into warp (so basically it can warp, but not "move") count against the limit of a Sa Matra (less than 20,000).

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
But essentially we could just keep trying to bump up the limit, correct? --- To Archi, what do you think is the cost of keeping a mega fortress the size of a small moon in orbit indefinitely?

Can someone explain to me what a Sa Matra is? I know it's a trophy ship, but what determines who has it.

May I research a 100,000 PP megacruiser (of which I have one). I need a flagship, since I have 2 old flagships which are 10,000 PP, and 4 artillery ships of which are also 10,000 PP. Imagine the possibilities, 50 notes.

Of which there is only supposed to be one, but she has several. If Doom somehow constructed a planet buster bomb and you agreed with it, then everyone should be able to construct one. It makes perfect sense.

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
So Doom doesn't have any ship greater than 10,000 PP. The rule was that the max was 10,000 PP, which everyone followed. I would've researched a larger ship, as probaly would everyone else, if there wasn't such a rule. Thus, everyone should get a free larger ship. My basis of that argument is that Doom got an advantage by not following the rule, so we should get the same advantage as if we had not followed the rule.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
But, until now I wasn't even informed that I could build some large ship. I was penalized for following the rule :( ---- So can I have a free large ship research? :D
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
If that's the case then I vote against faster travel.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
Well I want to build my own super massive ship, but the rules state that the maximum is 10,000 PP. So may we or may we not?

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
So is there a limit on ship size?

Which could easily be set as a value, of which you can determine things. Not everyone likes using spread sheets. <_<

Why don't people start with a set amount of money and we can work from there? For example, Britian would have so and so million pounds, while India would have so and so million pounds, though less than Britian as Britain is wealthier. Meanwhile, socialist countries could have so and so morale points, which would behave exactly like normal currency.

Interesting. So RPG doesn't own any Duna at the moment, unless he contests the above. -------- Incase I ever have to auto-pilot, production is going into producing transport ships and space production stations. Meanwhile, the eggs are being shipped to Tycus.

To Archi, Since New Years has now concluded yet it's still break for some people, don't you think we should start? It's the perfect time.

Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
I thought Met'Al belonged to Rocco. If that was the case, then Rocco doesn't own any Duna-planets, even though he's been claiming to have Duna for quite sometime. <_< --------- Ross, does that planet have any kelp? We'd like to request some to increase the variety of kelp in our ecosystem.

The Biosphere 2 project lost about 25% of its oxygen within a year. That's in an ecologically stable enviroment.
-
Hegemony-V2 begins page 302
It would be horrible. All the carbon dioxide would basically be absorbed into the rock, with nothing to spew it back out. It's known as carbon sequestration, which is an idea on how we can prevent global warming. Of course, it's a major problem, especially for the biosphere 2 project, where the carbon dioxide began sequestrating into the concrete. Less Carbon Dioxide > Less Oxygen

This is amazing. My athletes won cycling when they can even ride bikes! Yet somehow I still lose Water Polo and Diving. :P --------------- Tectonic Activity is good for everyone but Ross, because without it, carbon dioxide would slowly sequester itself into the rock, leaving the atmosphere devoid of carbon dioxide required for plant life.
