I hope you mean enemy ships that aren't mine or ECHOs. --- And someone needs to command the Unity in Jeremiah's absence.

I think Archi's picture was a positive thing. It is from the cultural victory from civilization 4/5 (can't remember which). :)

Good luck with the reasonable method of research. :chuckle:

Europa Universalis 3
I have one from direct2drive and it still has a problem. :P

Europa Universalis 3
You have to patch EU3 Complete before installing HTTT?
-
Europa Universalis 3
1. Download EU3 Complete 2. Download HTTT 3. Click on your exe and saving that 4. Install manually (copying files from there to replace the file of the same name in the game)

Nero, it seems that the patch does not work on my copy of HTTT, and I've spent a few hours on this. :D

The problem is not the math, but the ambiguity of the wording.

Europa Universalis 3
I am trying to get the patch again, since it failed last time. --- Is there a separate version for direct2download?

Well, it wasn't directly 700 > 708. It was 700 > 7_8, which doesn't look nearly as obvious when you're rushing through a test. :P My opinion is that IQ is not relavent. It doesn't matter if you can learn, if you don't. Similarly, it doesn't matter if you can read, if you won't.

Woah, unnecessary jab at politicians! They need oratory skills to be stubborn yet appear to be working towards compromise. Math that can be done by a buffoon can also be done by a calculator, but that is not actually what mathematicians and physicists actually do.

What would the interest be?
Archi is very skilled at making puzzles that can't be found with a search engine. Despite using my research aids (search engine + friend that knows how to do science and can teach me how to do something + scrabble dictionary), I am still not figuring out most of the puzzles. Just because I approve an idea doesn't mean that it would be good. I am sure that everyone would prefer a Hegemony that is to their strength/preference. That is the reason that I like puzzles (fun + my forte) and Ross prefers tactics (fun + maybe his forte). Or we could just play with the general idea of the original Hegemony (running a nation) and work on that.
-
What would the interest be?
Clearly, but that's what was stated in the idea, which I wholeheartedly approve of. :)
-
What would the interest be?
Well since research would be based on puzzles, there isn't any set duration. It would probaly just be a set "difficulty" for a few common researches that most people would want to research.

The Back Room
It's interesting, but some universities are now asking for your AMC scores in the United States, so it might be good to take it.
-
What would the interest be?
That makes sense.

What would the interest be?
Is research going to be useful? If it is, I am highly interested. :P

Have you considered math competitions? Maybe they'll be fun if you tried a few. :P

Thanks. :) The more important thing was that I beat my mathematically-inclined friends as well (harharhar). I just barely made it though, so I am unlikely to move further unless I do better on the AMC 10B (moving up factors AIME and AMC scores into the equation) --- Stork, maybe just work on drawing a bit each day? Even though you might not get an entire piece finished every day, it would still help. You should also consider finding a college, university, or school near you that is hosting the AMCs and take the AMC 12. They have calculus on there. --- Archi, I didn't specifically write out 708 in the "numbers between 200 and 700", but that's kinda what happens when your work is jumbled. :P At least I knew enough geometry to compensate for my failure in that problem.
