Nex, you could try diplomacy or alliances, instead of giving up immediately. At least let things run their course and see how it turns out. As I recall, you also threatened to quit when I was stealing all the research points, but you stuck through it. :)

It is retail, but the way that it is installed, it links up to Steam as well. It installs from disk, but you can then proceed to play it off Steam.

You could just send a PM to Archi saying "Yo, I have this idea for [insert idea here]. My goal is to have it [insert stuff the idea does]. How much will it cost to make it and how much power will I need to run it?" It's much easier for the moderator to fit this into their scheme of things than trying to make up mostly arbitrary figures that lead to wild unbalancing.

I think the point is that Space is a game, and shouldn't require knowledge of science to play, as long as it is somewhat reasonable.

Internet has died along with ny computer, virus scan crashed it somehow and then killed the harddrive though all space stuff is online or on paper so that's not a concern. The use of EMPs is overrated. An organic would easily be crippled if it was unprotected and was shot by a graviton hellbore, just like an unprotected AI would be destroyed with an EMP. AIs are probaly even more resilient.

We would like to see the pencil too. :P

By next session, I will have some resources to build some mining ships. Do I have permission from Jeremiah to use the Unity's shipyard? I've basically gotten it from Faust and Earth, but I figure it's always safest to get it from the guy in charge.

:idea: The government that the Unity should have...a triumvarate! Each member of the triumvarate is free to act in leading capacity while the other two are gone, but larger decisions are made by all three. It worked for the Romans...kinda.

If I may inquire, what kind of information is in the password protected areas? No specifics, but what general kind of stuff? (Ship info, etc) And hopefully I am still considered a friend of the Unity, even though I am no longer on it. ----- Also, I will be providing free research once in a while to factions that have not threatened my research operation. Requests are also accepted. Just note that these requests should be from the person in charge, rather than a bunch of random people asking for stuff.
