Okay, the crew's captain has no authority over the Kirby. The only reason Nero was still captain was that he was a good leader, and I didn't mind following him (and he was leader originally anyways). So you can elect a new captain of the Unity, but I won't be submitting to their authority because they weren't given that authority by the supreme authority (Nero). Go admiral Nero! Another alternative would be to let Jeremiah take charge, because he is second in command. Remember, ask "what would Nero do?" In my head, I get the response, "Don't have freakin elections! This is not a democracy!" --- To the AI, I'll be more specific. Only Jeremiah, Jen, or Nero can move the ship. So if they bring a commander in these elections, they still can't move the ship, until I talk with them and find out that they're responsible.

Hmm okay. The Kirby hides on an asteroid till I get back then. To the AI, only command level personnel have authority to move it.

I'm not sure. Basically I need you to have the Kirby mine for one hour, then go and contact "Crazy Ails", a store on Descar, to trade for life support. We need the life support asap, so you can offer our entire cargo, which at the moment stands at 167 or so kt, and will sum to 320kt after an hour of mining. I have attached four ion cannons to the Kirby, so with the crew quarters, it is a full-fledged fighting ship. Except we just need sensors and stealth and shielding. Also Arch, can the Unity use its sensors to detect the location of the Kirby and an enemy ship, calculate the angles, so that the Kirby can fire on the enemy ship without sensors? It doesn't need to be that good, but just a makeshift provision for now.
