I would recommend that you use a bear always while hunting. Of course, if you decide it's getting in your way, it wouldn't effect the XP/H too badly to dismiss it.
I would suggest using W71 for penguins today, with the chat World71pengs. W60 queu is disturbingly high, I was able to finish pengs in W71 by the time my friend logged in to w60 from the lobby.
I love the grind. It's awesome. You have good points, but I enjoy RS *because* of the grind. I love to work, and when I have no schoolwork to do I play RS. Could get a job, but meh.
OP, could you provide a QFC in your post please? Also, it's good to know that Jagex isn't done with bots yet. RS is so empty and it's great, I feel like I am finally able to trust them with what they say they will do.
If you would like to PvM and quest etc, perhaps you should try getting mid 70s-80s in defence? This way you have high enough defence to do most bosses without losing that advantage a pure would have by being lower defence. If you still aren't sure, write up a pros/cons list. Think about why you originally made the account and what would change if you trained defence up. Hope this helps!
Welcome back, and it's good to know your daughter is doing fine. The main thing I'd like to say is, get addicted to spending time with your family instead of RS. I would hate to see things not work out in your life because you came back.
Once you have finished all/most of the quests which are useful in building a good pure, or at least a decent base, I would head there. If you aren't into questing, however, I would say 30/30 would be good enough to go to rock crabs.
In order to get the best FM xp/h at jadinko lair, I have decided to take a break from firemaking to train woodcutting specifically. Of course, this means that I'll be getting 200M xp later than expected. Depending on how things go, I may have the party in February instead of on New Year's eve. We will wait and see.
