For me, the loading lag is.. temper mental. I won't have any lag for days, and then I get a day where the lag is so bad I can barely play.

Granite would be the faster way for sure. Iron is mostly for F2P or levels below 60 where granite isn't so fast ;)

You can get a maximum of 30K assisted XP a day. If you get a 25K Xp assist, then you assist a gorged effigy, you would only get 5K xp from the gorged effigy. Locking this thread since the question has been answered :)

I feel that they have done a fairly good job of creating 'trailers' for RS, as far as visually appealing, but they lack a clear story behind them and also the visuals in these trailers often doesn't reflect the graphics of the game. I think that if they can fill in those gaps in a way that the new player plays the game and is immediately met by whatever advertisement they saw there would be more players starting and continuing to play over time. Here's an example of the trailer I'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdRUcFqL2lQ Obviously Jagex has made steps to fill in the gaps, since you can see the signature heroes in the trailer and also in-game, but they still have a long way to go with graphics and story for it to make sense to a new player. Spoken from somebody whose played RS for 7 years..

U sure it's that much? Or is it like @120? 40K xp per med, each one being 15 mins. It depends on how fast you are and how high your prestige is, etc. Normally you don't solo DG so I'm only assuming the xp rates.

Probably like 160k doing solo meds.

A hood gets deactivated by mages, which are in a LOT of rooms. Meaning everything in the room which is humanoid will attack you with a hood. If you have a plate as a bind, you get attacked by everything automatically, but you have a lot of defence bonuses because of the plate. If you have a hood bound, you don't get the defence bonus of the plate. A hood is just a neat thing to have.

With the amount I use soul split, I would say its incredibly useful. Its just that much MORE useful with turmoil.
