  1. What you could do is make Smoke runes using the Lunar spell Imbue, it is one of the faster methods of runecrafting underneath lvl 75 as well it yields profit. Then with the Smoke runes you could use them to make glass objects using the Superglass spell, and then make those into the highest glass object you can to get crafting xp. So you would be training Runecrafting, Magic and Crafting all into one. Mix that in with some farming runs in between and you got yourself a nice little routine going on.
  2. You could always kill some of the cows yourself and bank the hides? I personally like making tiaras, mine the silver in the crafting guild. There really isn't many great crafting options out there for f2p...
  3. Hm well to me it sounds like the bolts are a better option, as there are a lot more of them... so they're going to last you a lot longer. Also something you might want to look into is ranging Minotaurs in the Stronghold of Security, they drops lots of arrows.
  4. ZMI and Steam runes are the fastest exp possible. If you don't have the required magic level (78?), Close, lvl 71 actually... but yes ZMI is going to be your best bet for fast xp. Around lvl 60 Runecrafting you start to profit every so slightly from ZMI. I usually just bring a few dozen laws and astrals while holding an earth staff. More often then not I actually craft the runes I need to tele. You can either tele to lunar island and use that bank, or you could tele back to the ZMI and pay 20 runes to bank there. Honestly I haven't seen much speed difference between the two.
  5. I assume Varrock means Varrock correct...? Unless Varrock has taken the rest of RS. :ohnoes: I would probably say either the Phoenix Gang's or Black ArmsGang's hideouts (hopefully the person looking isn't a member of the one your hiding in!). Other then that I would say pick a house that seems quiet and has a ladder.
  6. Do not give up! Haha I did it with lvl 60, I brought some summer pies with me and I did just fine. I think I used about 3 in all, but like it's been stated: make sure you have full run energy, and really do pray... they don't always hit, but when they do it's a whopping 13!
  7. Hello, unfortunately the search button doesn't seem to work with the new forums... so a lot of the information that I am seeking I have no immediate access to. I am more bouncing off ideas and hoping to answer a few questions that seem a little gray on my quest to get 99. This is my current situation: -My current Runecrafting level is 67. -Currently I am making Death Runes through the Abyss until level 75. -I am using the small, medium and large pouch (43 ess). -Agility level is 61 -Weight < 10 kg -Averaging about 1.2-1.4k ess per hour. -Access to the ZMI. -Lunar Magic spell book. -No experience with Summoning or familiars. -6M cash to work with I am aware that there are much faster methods, and I am in great interest in learning more about them. I have heard several opinions on the best options as to proceed with my Runecrafting, and I was just hoping to get some more thoughts on the subject. -QUESTIONS- -Does double crafting a rune give more xp? if so, ZMI VS Double Astrals? -Can other BoB besides Abbysal Familiars carry essence? (I have heard that only Abbysal familiars can enter the Abyss). -I have heard that using Fairy Rings to craft Nature Runes is pretty quick xp, thoughts? -With the new update in which you craft more runes at random, am I better off going back to Nature Runes? I hope I have provided sufficient information, and I look forward to your comments. Any other insights that I might need would be greatly appreciated. Cheers and happy 'Scaping ^^
  8. I am about to start the Mourning's End - Part Two quest, and in the quest guide it says "High Agility (Around 70). I have read about others doing it at a much lower lvl, some as low as 60 with a summer pie. I am currently sitting at lvl 60 and I was wondering if I would in fact be okay?
  9. Double post...
  10. Haha yeah, I have been having second thoughts about bringing ranger set... it's bonuses aren't THAT much more then snakeskin or archer helm. I was thinking about 20+ sharks with one super att, def and str?
  11. So i'm in the process of doing the quest, and I have heard that the boss fights are pretty difficult. Anyone have any insight as which is better, range or melee? These are my current setups, I have about 5m I can work with to switch up the equipment if necessary. Also what should I have in my inventory? Am I better off sticking with tons of food, and a super set? Range: Head: Robin Hood Top: Black D'hide Legs: Black D'hide Hands: Black D'hide Weapon: Crystal Bow (full) or Rune Crossbow with an Unholy Book Cape: Accumulator Boots: Ranger Ammy: Glory Ring: Ring of Life (since there is no prayer allowed) Melee: Head: Berserker Helm Top: Guthan's Platebody Legs: Dragon Platelegs Hands: Dragon Gauntlets Weapon: Whip with a Dragon Square or a Rune Defender Cape: Legends/Obby Boots: Dragon Boots Ammy: Glory Ring: Ring of Life
  12. The quest doesn't even appear in my non completed quest list... that's part of the problem. According to several guides I have surpassed the requirements to complete the quest. I recently sent in a bug report describing my difficulties. If anyone else has any other ideas or wisdom, it would be greatly appreciated! Cheers ^^
  13. Regicide has been completed...
  14. I am having troubles beginning the quest Mourning's End - Part One. The quest doesn't even show up as an available quest in my quest list. I have completed all of the requirements to begin the quest, however, when I talk to Eluned she does not offer to teleport me into the city of Lletya. All she says is, "Hi... I hear you finished consecrating Glarial's tomb. Well Done". Any wisdom or answers is greatly appreciated. - Sheep Herder (Completed) - Roving Elves (Completed) - Big Chompy Bird Hunting (Completed) - Level 50 Thieving (Achieved) - Level 60 Ranged (Achieved) EDIT: - Regicide (Completed)
  15. I am currently working on inserting my stats into my sig... for the time being: Att: 80 Str: 80 Def: 76 Range: 76 Hp: 80 Pray: 56 Slay: 55 So I do have access to slayer dart which I've heard is a viable option for barrows.
  16. Hello, although this is my first post, this does not by any means I am new to Tip.it. I have been following this website for several years, and unfortunately I do not remember my old account name due to a long hiatus... To get to the point, I am looking for ideas of how I should proceed to reach lvl 66 magic. Currently I am leaning toward using Crumble Undead, or Wind Bolt. I would prefer a little less speed in order to preserve the bank... I am looking for other people's experience and opinions in the area. My thanks in advance. - I would prefer to use damage spells to gain hp xp as well - Money isn't an object, although I would like to stay under 1M ideally - Lists of training spots would also be helpful Thank you once again, and cheers ^^
