Starting over?
Barrows Brothers' Magic Defense are already low enough as is, so I would say that the extra defense bonus is better then magic attack and prayer.

Set up for Abyss runecrafting
Don't forget your weight reducing gear! I.E. Boots of Lightness and either spotted cape

fastest way to lose charges
If you're quitting, what do you need the money for...? OT: I like the sound of a suicide mission, but I'm not so sure that it would work. Just regular slaying is the good old fashion way to do it... can take a bit of time though unfortunately

what is the world for sc skillers?
I've always used Smooth SC on world 39 (non combat). Games usually last 15 minutes on average. Also I've heard of Fast SC, not sure which world or how long their games last, but I'd assume that they're pretty fast.

Dragon pickaxe vs. Rune pickaxe
It is indeed 15% faster! Also like Cpt said, you can always sell it back later, it's not like you lose the 14.5M... they've been pretty stable since the bonus xp weekend. IMO I think that the Dragon Pic was the best thing I ever bought.

How much would whip cost if it could train strength?
Like other people have said before me, EVERYBODY pretty much has a whip already anyway... so there wouldn't be much of a difference. Think if they would have made it so that you can only kill abby demons while on task back when they were first released... now that would make a huge difference. I think they would still be at the 10-15M mark.

Something to ponder
Looking at your stats it seems to me that you spent a very long time in the game... or you bought your levels... I'm not sure what you are looking to accomplish by putting down other players, or even the "community" at that matter. You just make yourself sound like a hypocrite, I'm sorry. Also you are sinking down to their level, you went out of your way to post on a Runescape fan site's forums. You stated that anyone who "buys" their skills are abusing the spirit of the game. Just because some people understand that they can level certain skills more quickly then others by throwing a little extra money at it doesn't mean they're not getting the same experience as the next person. Some people understand that time is money, they could spend a little bit more money to shorten the time it would normally take to accomplish a task, therefore, giving them more time to earn that money back. I know that by me posting this I'm doing exactly what you intended, but I couldn't pass the opportunity to pass up voicing my opinion (You never did answer the "rhetorical" question by the way). I play the game the way I want to, I sometimes power level through the skills that I don't enjoy the most, and I take the time on the ones that I do enjoy. If you don't like the way Jagex does things, stop playing and stop posting on pro Runescape forums. I've learned to enjoy the game, no matter how much it changes, it essentially stays the same. P.S. this would be better suited in the Rants forum imo.

A lvl 80 friend needs to know where to train
Yeah he's been doing spiders at sos but he can do that in f2p world so he wanted to know if there was anything better. Difference isn't if he plays on a f2p or a p2p world, it's the equipment that he can use on p2p that makes all the difference. Honestly the SoS is probably his best bet w/o quests, if not there are the usual places such as moss/fire giants, green dragons etc.

Help me out!! =D
If you check the prices on the ge, you can make any jewelry that profits. Sapphire amulets work well, since they are the cheapest to make and have a nice return, just be aware that you have to string them in order to sell them on the ge. Getting 70 ranged is worth it, but you can wait until you're a member to do that. So what is the point of 70 range? :P The ability to wear Black Dragon Hide. I think that you should start getting stat requirements to do lots of quests. Quests are the best way to make the transition from f2p to p2p, you'll unlock new areas, new items as well as gain access to all of the must have member features. There are several topics on these forums about which quests to do so I'll upload a link when I get more time to find one of them.

nooby smithing help
Honestly I'd say just mine your own ore and smelt/smith everything. 1-30 would go fairly fast I would imagine...

Super Energy Pots(4)
Anything Herblore related is suffering right now due to the affects that Bonus XP Weekend had on it... My best guess is that they will buy out eventually just like everything else but there are just so little demand for potions right now that everything is slowly falling.

produce junk with profit
Fletching is the only skill in which I can fathom which produces junk quickly and still worth your time... Honestly you are better off doing something which makes you cash rather then relying on a item which is practically worthless.

Herblore
There is also Super Attacks, not much of a difference between Super Energy costs but it is still an option nonetheless...

Best F2P Weapons/Armor?
Made a few slight changes, based on my thoughts, the str ammy allows you to hit harder, in f2p accuracy isn't much of a concern. Also I think that the bonuses of the new mask are negligible and that the trusty rune large is still a better bet. As for the shield slot, yes the beserker is a better shield but once it's full degraded it's worse then a black kite... I would rather not to have to worry about recharging. Once you hit level 80 combat you really don't need any better defence anyway.

Quick Question on Bookcase
What the above poster said... So don't bother wasting space in the bank when your POH will store and organize the books better then your bank could! Including Tarn's Diary which I discovered! Makes getting a new Salve (e) ammy so much easier...

Armor and Weapons
indeed defender is amazing.. Though I would also set my mind on getting a whip: you're 70 attack and a whip is one of the very best weapons in the game still. I strongly discourage getting an obby cape: rather get first a legends cape, and then work your way up to either a skill cape trimmed or the soul wars cape. He's quite aways away from getting legends... the obby cape gives +2 better stats in every category and it's dirt cheap these days... But yes work towards getting a whip! Whip + Defender = Best combination. Be sure to check out which quests can help gain some fast xp as well. You would be surprised how fast quest xp can add up. @Ez - Ah I forgot about the regen bracelet, I stand corrected, get one of those until you can do RFD.

Armor and Weapons
I think the best and easiest way to improve your setup is by getting a Rune Defender. It is superior to any shield in most situations. Just head over to the Tip.it main page and read about the Warrior's guild to get a good understanding on how to get one. My second advice is go play FoG and get enough tokens to either buy or recharge some Dragon Gauntlets until you can do Recipe for Disaster. Also Obby Cape > Spottier

65-70 range and question bout avi's.
Honestly with 81 Def I would ditch the torag's legs for something that gives range bonus, also change the Glory to a range ammy; they can hit hard, but I've found that range bonus > defense bonus when killing Aviansies. I also suggest B2P tabs, they allow you to stay down there for long periods of time. The benefits of having a Sara and Zammy piece is so that you don't get attacked by the various monsters that represent said gods. It helps you to kill more Aviansies per hour and maximize profit. Of course if you go to the eyrie you won't need any of god items... I do however reccomend something from Armadyl, it makes it a lot less annoying, and you avoid being piled. It is mostly up to you which setup you go with. You're not going to get it right the first time, and that's okay, over time you'll tweak your setup to fit your playing style.

Need a setup/invo for MEP2.
From my experience the shades hit pretty hard and often... Although I was only level 78 defense when I completed the quest. I think that high pray gear would still be a better bet, it will also reduce your weight by quite a bit making the agility obstacles a lot easier as well as keeping your run energy up which is always a good thing when doing MEP2! I would recommend that you bring a few pray pots as well as some sharks as already mentioned, and 2-3 summer pies, because you do need to cross the hand holds at least two times.

Gold Bars...
Wouldn't he be better off putting 10 on herbs and 5 on fish? You don't get that many gems... so you might as well make more money off of the herbs.

Mage from level 64+
Numbers here (steel bars are 1k+ ) I was referring to xp/hr numbers... but I guess I didn't clarify that too well did I? (+1 for late night typing) But it is always nice to know to how much profit/loss you'll receive right?

Where to find public guilded alters?
Sweet. Mind if I drop by some time too? Username same as you tip name? I recently changed my name and I don't feel... secure... disclosing it cause someone else on the forums might be upset that I took the name they wanted. But you can still reach me with the same name as my TIF name

Where to find public guilded alters?
Nothing more to say about the bonus xp weekend being non prayer friendly, but if you are looking for a house you can add me in the game and I would be more then happy to let you use my altar after the weekend.

Mage from level 64+
Superheating is fast xp, and right now you can profit off of steel bars. I am not sure of any numbers, but it's a great way to level up magic fast and still break even or even profit.
