Assuming you mine on the group mining world (which you should), it's often too crowded to make full use of the pack yak, so most people opt for lava titan. Many claim to get better exp rates with it too. Either way, the two familiars are close, and with 99 mining, dpick, and either one of them, you should be getting 60-65k exp/hour.

If this is the case, why didn't people train here before?

Usually it is best to repair right away (do not use NPC contact - abyss trips only add several seconds to your trip if you're graahking or doing astrals, and almost no time if you're using the abyss anyway) The only exception is when you 3 pouch graahk, since a step 1 degraded pouch will still hold all the essence you need.

Are any of the new ancient curses recommended for Armadyl? Mainly, deflect range + leech range + leech defense.

I must've been working off of the wrong numbers, then. I was using some of Qeltar's numbers and found the xp from there -- maybe I wasn't using the best method that he had listed there. I haven't timed my experience myself, so I have no personal experience with it. That seems a little high to me, though -- 1k ores an hour? What, exactly, will get you those rates? Now, I'm not saying that Qeltar is the king of efficiency or anything, but I can't see how you'd get too much more than he did. You're telling me that you can get about 144% of what he does -- explain to me how this is done. I've never gotten that much, I think 55k was my max (92 mining, no familiar). But with 99 mining, lava titan, dragon pickaxe, varrock armor, lucky spawns on the group mining world, it's definitely doable. However, 60k is a more reasonable average. Notice in the runescoop test, he uses a rune pickaxe, pack yak instead of lava titan, and doesn't mine on the group world.

What would be these said "advanced cutting techniques". Mousekeys and such? Mousekeys, and dropping every log as you get it so that you utilize the log gathering cooldown.

No point in getting junk unless you can get it faster than you can make money. And there are only a handful of ways you can do that - mainly, participating in junk trading the other direction.

If you want fast fishing exp, you should do heavy rod, I think it hits upwards of 70k fishing exp/hour + some str and agility.

Moonclan group tele costs more than 60 fire runes. If you're weilding a lava staff for your earth runes that isn't a factor whatsoever :wink: . ? Moonclan tele costs 1 law and 2 astrals. Oh, and you also lose 2 ess/run if you bank at lunar isle.

You should never tele to lunar isle, I hate when people do that. Bank using fire runes is far faster, and cheaper than banking at lunar isle. You really shouldn't bank at CW either.

You don't use Guthan on Jad himself, it's just to save pots on the waves before him. It helps to use guth if your range/defense are low.

I guess I'll test the banking on repair run some time, maybe record video of it and compare. I weigh <0kg. And the stack of graahks aren't really a problem since I use 'call familiar' to close bank. Is it really faster to leave natures in your inventory? I just use deposit all (full bank) and memorize the position of that button. Edit: actually I just answered my question, since graahking maxes out at about 3600 ess/hour, that's a rate of 1 ess/second. Since it does not take 1 second to bank your natures, you should always bank each trip in order to gain that 1 extra essence. Edit 2: by the way, it is unnecessary to repair right away, you get full ess even with a 6-9-9 pouch setup (giant stays at 9 for 2 fill-ups).

1. What level agility do you need to not have to use energy pots? I'm at 75 agility and still need one every so often .. (assume about 70 trips/hour) 2. Is it better to bank at cw or edgeville on a repairing run? Banking at cw would save you the time spent running east to the edge bank, but I'm not sure if it would be worth the 2 teles and run to chest.

What's an assumption, that the exp I timed was due to natural variance (which probably comes out to like a .00000001% chance)? Far more of an assumption to think that a different and new pickaxe does nothing different from an old one.
