  1. Simple, in general, you get 4 melee exp (across hp, atk, str, def) for each 1 slayer exp.
  2. 50k an hour is highly unlikely, even at 90 tbh. My friend is doing ZMI to 91, and he gets 35k an hour even using the contact spell.. Smoke runes are the way to go, 30-40k xp an hour and you brake even. Good luck training! how does contact NPC come into this? have they added a banker to it so you don't have to move or something? Sorry to bump a dead thread but I've been out and unable to ask until now. You can contact the dark mage in the abyss to repair pouches, it's a tiny bit faster than doing an abyss run.
  3. Defense doesn't decrease the damage of a hit, it makes you get hit less often.
  4. Is it good to use 10% or 15% mage prayer while you burst/barrage, or what about leech magic?
  5. I don't think there are many, if any, ways that make you junk faster than normal money, so it's pointless unless you receive junk as a part of a trade.
  6. Try updating your graphics card driver. Probably has something to do with the new particle effects.
  7. Doesn't Britain practice daylight savings?
  8. How about verac helm amuet of fury arma chestplate arma skirt sara vambs unholy book ranger boots archer's ring
  9. Yeah blame everything on the merch clans, who really have nothing to do with the price that people are willing to pay. Prayer is fast exp, prayer is useful exp, therefore bones should remain stable.

Cause the wilderness is better exp, and revs aren't hard to get away from.

Can't you also use ardougne monastary tele?
  12. If you're referring to runecrafting, runecrafting is faster than slayer, a consistent 55k/hour at 99, maybe 50k/hour at 90. Yeah ok true. (Although I figure it's slightly less, but w/e). That doesn't make Slayer the slowest skill. Fishing monks is actually slower, summoning is much slower if you count the charm gathering time. Slayer is a very diverse skill. If you block the slowest tasks and cancel intelligently, AND use the best methods for each task (not going overboard, however, with stuff such as spirit shields, etc.) you should get a minimum of ~30k slayer xp/hr and a maximum of roughly 70-80k if you can get consistent high-end tasks. Well I'm not sure how fast serious slayers can get exp, but barbarian heavy rod is sure to beat it. I think someone worked out that summoning is about 50k/hour if you burst/barrage all your charms. With slayer, you also have to consider the time spent traveling, getting new tasks, banking drops, withdrawing potions/cannon/etc, changing gear, etc.
  13. Youre joking right??? runecrafting is the most attention requiring skill after Firemaking -.- id like to see you post a vid of u watchin anything while rcing As long as it doesn't have subtitles, you're fine. Just listen and use peripheral vision. And you can watch while you're running. I've watched tons of seasons of shows while rcing, and though I might not pay 100% to the show, it doesn't slow down my rcing at all.
  14. Was thinking more like deflect range + leech defense on jad + maybe leech range 360s.
  15. If you're referring to runecrafting, runecrafting is faster than slayer, a consistent 55k/hour at 99, maybe 50k/hour at 90.
  16. I would fish if you have a lot of homework to get through, or tons of movies/tv shows you want to watch. You can watch shows/movies while you runecraft too.
  17. How do the other contents of your make your first sentence valid? They don't, your first and last paragraphs were incorrect generalizations. Learn to use logic!
  18. So I should only read parts of what you say, k.
  19. And you replied that a reason is aesthetics, to which I replied, there are other reasons to buy it (like bossing).
  20. Why can't you use zs/normal antifire then?
  21. Irons are actually very quick if you have super antifire and extremes. I just did 89 in about 45 minutes. How do super antifires make it any quicker?
  22. Right now i have Hellhounds and Kalphites blocked. Idk what, if i put anything, in the other 2 spots. I was under the impression that kalphites were very quick slayer exp o_o
  23. Well you read wrong then, the Metals are all weak to stab, so the ZS makes killing them a lot easier. Tbh this thread is about whether the DFS was worth it, and what most said it wasn't. The money was better off put on skills, such as herblore and prayer, to make doing tasks easier. And irons were worth doing before the update, steels are better now after it. They aren't that hard to kill. Since i don't got 85+ herby i just use a LBS on them, it is the best 1 handed stab weapon. To me it seems like you want to justify that something you can't get is useless without you being able to use it. They are a great tool to be used when slaying as well as regular monster hunting. Like i already said the Extreme potions are great to use for tasks as well as doing bosses. I have enough to buy the herb levels, I just don't think I'd use super antifires much at all. What tasks would you block over irons/steels?
  24. Do the new updates make iron and steels worth unblocking? Still have high defense and whatnot.. And whip is better than zs on those 2 (or so I read). Even if gs/zs are better, I doubt it warrants all that money in herblore. KBD is mostly useless.. Still not seeing how super antifire is useful.
  25. Killing dragons isn't even that important though, and you can already just use dfs+antifire pot.
