Should have reported that straight away to Jagex. They can lock your account till you have secured it once again. Yeah, I thought "Good the guardian works" and chalked it up to nothing. My own mistake, hindsight is 20/20 sadly. Haha.. Not sure if I want to bother starting over or not, as this account is not very old.

Pretty sure somebody got onto my account somehow through a vpn, jagex guardian showed me an 'unauthorized login' with an IP that was really sketchy, and three days later I get 'account still logged in' upon waking up, and a perm ban 6 hours later. Cool beans, never macro'd or anything. :(

Haha I wish I had time to play like that still, I used to play that way. :P Haven't had much time to play lately, but back to collecting tears now. :P

Well, I've been here for what feels like forever, and haven't played the game in what feels like the same. I lost my account many years ago and was never successful getting it back, but with the time I have now and how different RS is now I've decided to come back and play pretty semi-casually. (24 hours a week maybe) I don't know if anybody remembers me, but I love this game and always will...so now I'm back. Need some new friends!

Indeed as has been said a million times before: The vote is to gauge number interested in playing and thus financial viability and price level needed Votes with non intention to play artificially inflate this figure. If its artificially inflated pricing may end up cheaper, but this won't necessarily be good as there will be far less players than the price was designed to work for. Also stop trying to guilt people into voting who do not wish to, it's kinda lame and childish. I mean not once have any of us who not voted tried to guilt you people into not voting; we've simply said we aren't voting and why. Your reason's are very mis-guided and selfish.

Just read that this is bringing back rs2 servers, what is the point in making another RS2...if they were thinking about doing this in RSC then people would definitely say yes IMO.

I believe my account may have been hacked while I was inactive, either that or there is an error with my email on jagex side. This will suck a bit, but I only had probably 10 mil worth of things. Once I get my account back, I am on my way to my goals again! Hopefully it doesn't take the two weeks they say it might take to respond to my email!

Yeah, that was a novice mistake I suppose! Thanks. I had a prety high amount of shark, thats going to suck only a little if I was hacked. I just want my account back really. :P

I'm not really too worried about it, I'm a little turned off if you are able to change somebody's email without sending a confirmation to the original email. If that was the case then I'm not going to bother resubbing.

Those replies were really helpful. I don't believe I ever set account recovery on this account, as I made it on halloween 03 simply to pick up a scythe, and when I returned to play on it I never bothered. After reading that thread this makes sense as to why I can't get my password, and I can rest a little bit easier. Thank you both very much! *Edit* As it turns out, that issue was not effecting my ability to get into my account. :( I sent an email to jagex but they say it will take up to 2 weeks for an answer, I guess now I play the waiting game.

I'm not sure if anybody will be able to help me, but I decided to give it a shot anyways. So I have a really old account that I started playing on again earlier in the year, I have emails in my email about making it my email for the account, and emails in it about members loyalty stuff...but when I try to recover my password, it tells me that the email i'm entering is not the correct email associated with the account. I have no idea what to go about doing to get my account back, this is not right, I know its the correct email. :/

Should either get Untrimmed Slayer, or Untrimmed HP cape, too :-) I was thinking about that, most likely slayer. Been taking a break due to recently losing my mother, but I will be back to playing here pretty soon.

They determine the levels for content based on average player level, so if the bar rises above your head, you're shit out of luck. :D Well, this is my second account, and it is not very hard to get to max levels in each skill the traditional way. The way I see it, how other people level their skills has no bearing on me in the least bit. If an update is too high for me to participate in, it is more encouraging to get the levels to me. I do not mind waiting a little bit to play new content. I think that is my whole point here, this doesn't get people 'ahead' at all, because of the way runescape is. The ONLY thing I see wrong is if a new skill is implemented, for people that are trying to get 99 first. But we will cross that bridge when we get to it. (Again, this does not effect me at all, but I can see how it would effect others.) There are already SO MANY maxxed players, a few people spending thousands of dollars to further fund runescape to get maxxed, has no effect on the game at all. There are far to little players that will actually participate in this to have any bearing on the economy, which would be the only other concern.

WHO CARES. How does it effect you if somebody raises their skills by spending way to much money? It doesn't, stop complaining. If they release something that gives an actual advantage to players against other players, that is when you should get mad.

Got 87 cooking today! I will consider that, but I do want to use the cannon for ranged xp and faster slayer xp. I only use it on tasks such as trolls and daggs of course, and I am planning on making the cannonballs myself now most likely.

If anybody can point me to a more efficient way of making money, I will do that and get my fishing a more efficient way. I haven't played in a long time, plan to make money off of slayer, but I want to have enough coins for the best equipt, potions, cannon, etc. before I fully start.
