I can tell from just looking at it that it has some serious nasty things. Scan with your anti-virus program and your spyware programs to see if you can clean that thing up. Then re-post the log. Also have you noticed any un-wanted tool-bars in IE?

AS far as I know it's not possible. Then again does it require Internet Explore? It's a stand alone client I though? Please some one correct me if I'm wrong. *waits to be informed*

You say your tower is on the floor... If it is on carpet you could have some problems with static electricity...

Shutdown your PC > Start your PC > Hit the proper key to get into BIOS (I here this veries btween computers but the key is commonly F8, F9, etc. It may even be Delete or ESC.) > Once in the BIOS menu you have accsess to all your hardware options (fan speed, CPU speed, RAM speed, etc.) This is where you overclock. If you do decide to lower the speed take it one incrament at a time (EX: Say you have a 1.6 ghz CPU and you want to lower the speed to 1.4 you'll need to restart and boot windows 2 times. Once after every .1... You do this to check and make sure windows can operate at that speed you set. It's a long and boring processe.) You may also want to check your fan speed. You can also see you hardware tempratures in BIOS.

If you have dial-up your IP changes every time you connect. With broadband (cable, DSL) you have a set IP assinged by your provider. Call your provider and request a new one.

Angus Young, Ace Freehley, Eric Clapton, Randy Rhodes. Those are my favorites. I don't think any one person could decide the best guitarist by themself. Why? Because there could be some un-know out there right now that blows everyone away.

Paint and Calculator Missing From Windows XP SP2
Hulk12 replied to tetrisgod's topic in Tech and Computers
My Computer > Drive C: > Windows > System32 look in there if they are not in there: Search windows.com for them. Or find a alternative to them... -
Except for the mafia hit man part I agree with Zonda :) The best thing to do is take it back to the repair shop. That way you might get a refund or free check up if there the ones that messed it up. But if they see that you have tried to mess with anything they will refuse to give the free check or maintaince.
