Draconic jadinkos have a pretty bad catch rate at level 80... iirc iggy/carrion are a good combo from around 80, but yeah perhaps the gap is more like 70-85.. I'd love for this update to fix all that, but it doesnt really look like its enough

Is it me or am I the only person that's kinda dissapointed in the d&d aspect of this update? Unless I'm missing something, all you do is run around in circles spam clicking on the moths and trees. Compared to fish flingers (their most recent d&d, even if it was an update), it seems boringly simple. Hopefully the d&d and polar kebbits can plug the annoyingly difficult section of the skill from 70-80 that seems to exist anyway

RIGHT. I'm actually back now properly, aside from a holiday in a few weeks and busy this weekend but im playing rune again :D 15m all skills target, should be easy enough: 800k mining 1.2m fishing 1.2m thieving (anyone wanna duo?) 800k construction... 1.8m hunter Peasy :D In the meantime I'm going to be trying some QBD provided my connection is being happy, the money couldn't hurt and it'd be nice to gather steads and a few other things before EoC I guess. Glacors would be nice to go back to but I have my suspicions that they're not exactly amazing money anymore.. Oh and I'm going to start farming again, try secure my rank a bit and 40m target for now (~6m to go!)

Actually my Wii is lucky enough to live downstairs :P Of course with SSBB on hand whenever needed :D Only reason I even have the xbox there now is its a useful dvd player tbh..

Dry streaks don't have to precede increased drop periods, because that's just not how it works. People see patterns where there are no patterns :P Like hedge says, law of averages etc. 5k glacors done myself and my average is pretty much bang on 1/300 if that helps

Pretty unlucky but it can happen :( My biggest dry streak has been around 1.2k myself, its just annoying you've had a large dry streak right off the mark with no boots before it :( It'll average out in the long term anyway with multiple boots within a few trips or something :)

The degrade cost is too high to make it useful really. Sure the magic defence is nice if you miss a switch to mage pray, but if you miss a switch to range you're going to be taking lots of damage
