If that's bad animation, show me good animation. It's stylistic, yes, but better than pretty much every American cartoon I've ever seen. Bad storytelling and bad characters, well, I haven't seen more than bits of the first episode so I can't really comment. But you're right, it is aimed at little girls, hence it should have a plot that would keep little girls interested. It was specifically made so that said little girls would be exposed to an entertaining, inspirational, and non-sexist cartoon for once. Lauren Faust did an excellent job if you ask me.

Lol. Well, Killer, if you would like I can go through the comic with sniptool to find you a suitably epic, non-female character to avatarize once I get my old laptop back. Heck, there are probably a good few that would go nicely with the colouring on your siggy, even.

In retrospect it was a bit of an undirected comment (though I've been getting the gist that the Back Room was made for those, and Lei never catches crud for it) that I just said because I felt like I mildly wanted to say it to someone, somewhere. And I didn't think it would be specific or foreshadowed enough for it to be a spoiler for anyone unless they've read yesterday's page but not the one that came out this morning.

... Well [bleep]. Drowtales just killed off another of the few named male characters. He was a very minor character, but a nice one nonetheless. Plus he found out the hard way, along with all the readers, that his much more fan-liked and plot significant sweetheart is now a soul-eating demon.

Who IS that anonymous user anyways? The plot thickens...
