  1. My middle school principle was great. Patriotic, reasonable, respectable American. A flag was flown over the White House in his name, plus he made an arch-enemy out of the biggest dip[cabbage] in my grade. Highschool principle is... A principle. Meh. Oh, and my one memorable elementary school principle is finally recovered from a massive news-making crash that immobilized her for more than a year.
  2. I think I go back in August. Meh. Anyways, I am getting a game! Probably Fallout: New Vegas, but if you guys could buy any modern game, for any console, what would it be? Or your favourite console game that you already own.
  3. ... Why the derision? Did I say something wrong? And if you've never seen it, why do you dislike it? You called? Oh, wait, R-R-Y. Never mind.
  4. RTS is RTS. I spent a good 5 years neck-deep in strategy games, I'll probably appreciate them again when I'm older.
  5. Ah. Odd. Well, I don't own Starcraft anyways, so whatevs.
  6. I'm pretty sure that IS SPARTA. Eh, but that was actually pretty funny, though weird. I assume it was comedy. Shame I don't have a babelfish with me.
  7. Of course it's stupid, all comedy is. Except sarcasm, which is just... not so much of an artform as an art, if that makes sense. The point was that it was intentionally absurd and scattered, wasn't pandering, and made you think.
  8. WRONG WRONG!
  9. It occurs to me that Minecraft has some degree of potential as... a horror game...
  10. Oh, of course. Don't you folks have reruns? It would be a crying shame if the younger generations of Brits weren't exposed to such genius.
  11. Oh. That's what you meant. Wait, what do you mean? Monty Python is quite an old show and I watched it when I was three. Is there some sort of paradox in that that I've missed?
  12. Yes, yes, I suppose that would make me 'still a child,' but aren't we all? :P Different people mature at different speeds and in different ways. I assume everyone laughs at Monty Python someday, regardless, but some people I know probably won't until their twenties. Jocks and such, who are kinda conditioned towards low-brow stuff in America.
  13. I think there are more people than you'd think who don't understand where money comes from and where it goes, because they never thought to ask and weren't taught that in school. It would be worse for individuals who've had a particular 'family business' for a long time, farmers or some such, where all they really NEED to know about economics is how to sell your products for more than it costs to make them. Also for those who don't have enough experience with large sums of money to understand what a city/state/country costs to run and how that must be achieved. I could start making political statements there, but I'm not going to because I honestly know nothing about party policies, Democrat OR Republican.
  14. Oh god, Dunham is good but he has only ever had ONE routine. The other guy, that would be the one with the stage name 'Larry the Cable Guy' or something right? Bit portly, always wears that one hat? He's just weird. I suppose he's not bad, he seems like he would be cool to meet, but I don't find him at all amusing. When was the last time you watched Monty Python Lynx? Not 'The Holy Grail,' that's not that great, but their actual television show? I saw it a lot as a child, hated it, and I started watching it again a few years back and loved it. It's really about being old enough to understand the humor, you should give it a second chance.
  15. I'm not. It's just stuck in my head still. I've decided to hell with watching it, it's too creepy, but there's nothing wrong with... most of... the music.
  16. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfS8lVY94WM AND AGAIN! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
  17. I suck at shooters. I really do. In Halo I've gone half an hour of Slayer without getting a kill, and I'm not spectacular at BlOps either. Battlefield I can usually do, but I take too much advantage of the realistic nature and end up making my team lose because, while I've set up a defensive perimeter and no enemy can come out in the open without being marked, I'm not aggressive enough to make up for the fact for every competent individual there is a useless dumb[bleep] who doesn't understand the idea of team play. And I'm usually in a 3-person team.
  18. Sorry, the wording confused me. :P
  19. Retech, I've had that issue too, but only on my Dad's old run-down laptop. C'est la vie. Wyvren, the point is that there's no instances of 'racial hats', good OR evil. And R.A. Salvatore did not create Drow, I'm talking about people who are angry at any non-D&D-universe-canon portrayal of Drow... Like there's some sort of super-copyright on the very idea of such things.
  20. It seems like such a shame that so many people hate on Drowtales without having read it, or for silly reasons. I've heard bashing for them defying the Always Evil and other conventions that Gygax slapped onto the Drow, while people praise Dwarves that break the D&D clichés. I've heard people who despise the Drow for overpowering the humans... Who have no magic and are explicitly stated to be equivalent to Goblins. Note the lack of powerful Goblins in almost any setting, especially the source material for Drow. Furthermore, the only truly broken character post-retcon is Ariel, who can't be removed without rewriting or removing half the comic, and who has been gradually shifted from the spotlight in recent chapters, as is fitting for the overarching story Drowtales is meant to be. And while I've heard bad things about the original chapters and sexuality, the only mildly sexual scene in 31 chapters is unobtrusive and focused not on the fact that the two characters are bathing but on both plot exposition and the nature of the couple (don't know how to better explain it, and can't find the page). It really is a good comic, but no one seems to want to give it a chance.
  21. Oh. Eh... hahaha. Portal is good for memes. Comic strip jokes, not so much. Anyways, now to try and find my IPod and post that random rant I was typing up last night...
  22. I make a point of not clicking outgoing links. What is it?
  23. I was going to play as a bit of malevolent, malfunctioning software named Karl. But then I decided, nah.
  24. Nah. Battlefield Bad Company 2.
  25. A man with a big nose? Double yeah as a tactical sniper, 8 kills 1 death.
