What, is it not annoying to you? I suppose not everyone dealt with it being sung badly for years. There are entire genres my parents have ruined for me.

Well I'm chipping away at it, making a concrete background and such. I'm trying to decide the leveling system, and whether Feats and Ability Scores of some sort should come into play. There's also the question of what the 'magic' should be, I'm thinking of several sorts that I might very well combine in the end. For once, Artix Entertainment might have provided a sort of positive inspiration (of course, they only provided recent exposure, the idea itself is long-standing).

Mather, you've dedicated your life to "chasing skirt"? Do you think that will end well for you? My dreams are odd, though entertaining. Peace and happiness or Valhalla-like battle. There's something odd about a body's physical reaction to dreams, taking a sword through the gut in dreamland can have interesting affects if it wakes you up as well. Then there's the strange little oracle dreams, which put images and words in my head. Once I wrote down what I remembered, and it actually happened like a reading of a script. :P

Mather, I'm pretty sure EVERYONE thinks they're more charming in dreams. I dream of leading armies, but I could never be a commander in reality.

I feel a distinct lack of creativity when compared to all of you. The best I've done thus far is to fall down a hole and accidentally drop lava into someone else's mine (though I believe I patched that up before I left yesterday :thumbup: ).

We're creative. You are too, undoubtedly, you just don't apply it in the Tavern mentality sometimes. :) Grade-wise, my parents made me drop Geometry just as I was getting myself together (organization and motivation issues) so I wouldn't screw up my GPA more than I already had. Not like it freed up a period, neither hell nor high water could keep me out of that classroom even if I wasn't earning credits, and Math was actually one of my better classes (on good days :P ). I'm actually pretty sure I have lower grades than almost anyone else in my school who's not doing so bad as to be held back. But of course, that isn't necessarily a measure of intelligence, and everyone recognizes that my mind has rather significant quirks. But I digress. The Tavern just doesn't seem to attract people who don't have a certain flair, and each one of us is capable of presenting observations in one area that utterly confounds the others. It's just who we are. :D
