Mather, do you know that? How fast are the shuttles, how fast are the hoverboards, and how can a human actually survive travelling at such high speeds without a cockpit? I don't know about space, but on land and possibly in a ship that would just snap your bones.

ICU... I think that would be the 2D version. 3D's basically just constant, not-quite-mindless zombie slaying. No missions as of yet. The real thrill, if you ask me, is from scavenging.

Not in space. I don't believe anyone has made an honest-to-goodness, functioning jetpack here yet. And Jeremiah, when are we going to look into that tank some more? I mean, if SI refuses to do ground missions then there's no point, but it could be a considerable asset.

Lei, you'd just bump your head. Jeremiah and I have been wanting to work on a main battle tank for a while to use in ground combat, so the board's a silly idea for that. For hijacking enemy ships, transporters are altogether more effective. I also don't really see how you'd maintian your orientation, especially in space, while moving forwards at any real speed. And why have electromagnets, so your feet stick to it?

Yeah, Mather, what exactly is the advantage of Hoverboards? What do they use to "hover?"

I'd like to go looting with some of you guys, this game would be funner with a team. And somehow, using a combat knife I can live much longer with many more kills than any of the other players I've met.

So, yep, I can't even remember what was said last time I was here. Life went on. :P The girl's friends know about it now, if they didn't before, and seem to be mildly approving if anything. It's been decided that I need to wait until Valentine's day and give her the throwing knives I got for her, because even if I'm horrifically rejected for some unforseen reason, I will win the school award for "Most Awesome Valentine's Gift." :rolleyes:

What a load of blether. I just stalled out and got killed by zombies, before that I had taken on hordes with my pen knife and hadn't been hit once. EDIT: Died a lot, but I've been trudging forwards.

I can understand your issue, Lei. AI will probably understand. Although crew deaths are pretty unavoidable, Jeremiah is the only one whose body was permanently destroyed. Even then, his brain was back at the Unity hooked up to transmitters. Hence his current, robot form.

Wow, finally a situation in which Mather doesn't die! Seriously though, his eternal death spree is half the fun of the story.
