Lee, if you shoot me then I shoot back. Plasma weaponry is potentially quite dangerous, at least I only use nonlethal munitions. Earthsage, that might either be a brilliant move or the stupidest thing you folks have done to date. Worst case scenario, we'll have mass suicides, an increased murder rate, and potentially enormous death tolls from faction warfare on our hands. You really should've waited until the Confluence Nest was online and a police-force assembled. Might go fine, though, and it will certainly make my presence all the more influential on the refugees.

What, you banned all flammable substances?

Asgard society is, at this point, based around Psionic power... Our officers need to be able to negate the advantage of food pills. I think training them might not be too horribly difficult, and it's something we're going to need eventually. As investigators, as soldiers, as communicators, to power Confluence Nests... And Lee, I don't see what I'm even doing anymore.

LEE'S WITH DUTY! GET HER! And they don't like us because we weren't there for them when we didn't know we should have been. SI didn't tell us what we needed to know, because we didn't ask. Earth, the Infestation Gun doesn't exist. We don't have the required research for it, and even if we did I wouldn't hand over my side. Anyways... Jeremiah, I think we have found a situation meriting a Main Battle Tank. Shall we begin design next session? Aside from that, I refuse to be their leader, but I am best suited to deal with their power structure. It is significantly reliant on the aid of Psionic powers, and crowd-control weaponry (like my Blitz) inspires fear like nothing else among the untrained refugees. I'll also need access to a Confluence Nest to provide the refugees with relief from their depression and lessen abuse of the food pills. At some point we'll need a police force of weak natural Psionics, possibly armed with Thought Blades and phasers.

Jeremiah, getting them out of the way is more difficult than you imply. EVERYONE is in a gang, and nearly everyone supports their own gang's actions. These are TENS OF THOUSANDS of people we're talking about in some of the gangs, and they essentially control Asgard. I've heard horror stories about what some factions are capable of. I don't know why we bother, save perhaps to retain a shipyard. We can simply hire soldiers to secure that area, I'll train a few strong psionics, and in a few months we can have them in power over Asgard. Of course, that isn't the strategy I'd prefer, but it seems more intelligent than some sort of zero-sum game.

A) Last time I asked him he said it took years. B) You'll see. YOU'LL ALL SEE! (Note: Not really affiliated) C) He seems to just want it as a scrap heap, and obviously doesn't trust you.

Hrm, I'm actually siding with Chi on this. If all he wants is a cute little assistant, let him have it. Or I will hand you over to the Kitsune.

TBing is an advantage, and a crutch. If SI says nothing will go wrong if we TB, I guarantee that something horrible will happen because of them. It's not his way to miss an opportunity, at best we will get kicked in a roundabout fashion.

... I think Chi might have done something less-than-horrible for once. Except we might have to get rid of it eventually. Earth, a research team of AIs has so much potential for Asimov issues, it's not even funny. I don't like the idea, humans are more trustworthy if you screen them carefully.

What in hell is going on? Why does Chi have an AI, and what is Earth trying to research?

Haven & Hearth Thread
Yeah, sorry. I'm kinda out of it, other things going on y'know. I'd like the silk moths and some of each seed to stay with Taverners, but otherwise my possessions are fair game.

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
Well, technically I think it would be a return. The local guys are really understanding anyways, when I was much younger they gave me a full refund on a game on the basis that I didn't like it. :P

With or without the receipt? :P

Call of Duty 7: Black OPs
:P Me too. But Black Ops really is a sad affair. The purchasing system was gravely mishandled, sniping was made useless, if not impossible, and the weapons were extraordinarily unbalanced. Plus I have TWO copies for the same console. Hrm, anyone know how much Gamestop would take for the return of a barely-touched, still plastic wrapped copy?
