Forgery is impossible if every transaction is recorded. Between players, too, if trades involving bread go through the bank. To be honest, this probably isn't necessary though. We Taverners trust each other. But everyone has their own idea of fun. :)

I was actually going to have my main be an explorer, so that may work out. I was quite the wanderer during Falador Mark I, I could probably find some rustroot given a day or two. The mine might take a little longer, but I'm pretty good with monotony. @Retech: The point is, no one makes bread but the bank. We would keep an account of all bread made and how it's distributed. I could probably do that as well.

*Sigh* Well, if only I like this... I suppose I'll just make a village account and work with it alone, if need be. I like to keep things coherent. Perhaps I could function as an accountant? That would help should someone make unscrupulous withdrawals. And no-one seems to be paying attention to the fact that I suggested we only have these communal workers IN ADDITION TO our own unique characters. And I never said it would be entirely equal, of course there's priority... <_< EDIT: Part of my original thought process was to have whoever was working on that account that day to get the choice of what to work on, as well.
