Certainly Iey, that fits in perfectly well with the magic system I intend. You'll find magic isn't quite as direct in this, but I'll let you guys find that out for yourselves. It will be more difficult to use magic in the earlier sessions.

I would like to be able to make a book or comic. I can draw, not well, but I'm getting better (the designs are kinda abstract though, I can't draw realistically). As one might guess, my story centers around Cerentis. He's like a combination of Dorian Ursuul and Doctor Who. He's one of the Keepers, a group of demigods who travel between dimensions and the timelines of said dimensions and ensure events have the desired outcome. Normally, each Keeper is assigned a specific dimension other than the one they were born in, but Cerentis is kind of stuck in a loop of sorts. His home dimension has a messed-up timeline which he is inevitably associated with and bound to return to. Other Keepers, many of which I have not yet named, also play a large part with a number of side stories crossing over with the main storyline. Also, part of the story is the reader discovering the history and nature of the Keepers, especially Cerentis, the unnamed "Aspect of Stone," and the leader of the Keepers named Galleus.

Backstories are ok, just no majour storyline points. If the character has an arch nemesis or something, they probably won't ever encounter that person. Eh, I dunno, do what you want. Just keep it to a Dungeoneering level of backstory.

Yah, I think a restart is in order. A similar opening still stands, though we'll be a bit more ambiguous about it. You can start as you like this time, within reason. Just name your character, choose a weapon for them and a general alignment. Magic is very rare and difficult in this world, and your characters start as the first remotely powerful new magi/magae in centuries. Alternately, I could simply accelerate the timeline and put you in after the events that were going to take place in the last incarnation of ToR. Maybe you'd even get to face off against your old characters... hm... Now, I want to know what a good starting area would be, and if I should start you together or alone. Remember, this isn't an RP like "The End of the Beginning," but rather a set of storylines you all take part in. Give your character a personality, but don't assume too much of a backstory.
