Meh. As far as I know, the Admins and Mods (excluding Archi) are completely and utterly opposed to any arbitration on this subforum. They wouldn't allow Archi to set up a poll for me in the Back Room for the purpose of determining the general interest in different genres/styles of games. I think they're reluctant to arbitrate in most circumstances because they assume rulings will be abused for the purpose of putting down the ideas and contributions of other players. This could well be an issue of controversy among them. This is why I suggest we solve this problem on our own initiative. I do so hope a tl;dr: would be unnecessary.

Well, some of the boats are simply parts of the Hlaupari arsenal replacing horses. I suppose the others would probably require payment, and I still need to ask Tech some questions about them.

... I don't think anyone here has the right to report any offence whatsoever. We all made quite bad mistakes before, if we were so adamant about reporting a number of people would have been booted long ago. What makes this a good community is that we can resolve problems (usually) by ourselves. Rocco, I know it's tempting to troll when other players have done things just as ridiculous legitimately (I was tempted to do the same), but let's not dig ourselves a grave. A message is sent to the ruler of Ireland, suggesting that Ireland become an ally (read: vassal) of Iceland in exchange for the services of the Icelandic military, one of the most proficient in Europe. They are given the option of having Iceland set up Military Schools like those in Reykjavik for the purpose of teaching and training the populace, or to simply have optional access to schools on the islands off the coast of Iceland. It is suggested that Ireland contribute several million gold each year for the purpose of furthering the goals of both nations. EDIT: Note, this message is not to Poseidon, but rather to the NPC government. I suggest he join as another nation, because even if Ireland refuses this agreement I expect it to be firmly in my grasp within days. And Poseidon almost never comes on.

Just got back from throwing weapons practice! It was awesome! My dad and I were the only ones there (except the throwing weapons marshall and her children, it was at their house), and we got to toss tomahawk-style axes and throwing knives that were just a bit bigger than these: All in all, it was an awesome experience. By the end, I could get a multiple point hit about 2/3rds of my throws from 15 feet with the axes. The knives were more difficult, and I didn't do much practice with them. It was a 2 1/2 hour practice, I got a good workout and didn't break a sweat. Might you wish to try some time, Retech?

These are for a very distinct purpose. They're not really exploration or trading ships.

IT'S NOT FRICKIN' LARP! WHAT LARP HAS A CHAIRMAKING CLASS, ANYWAYS?! It's about training skills, it's more like Boyscouts, albeit on a different subject and training different skillsets.

I'm a member of the Society of Creative Anachronism, medieval reenactment and all that. It's pretty fun, and the people there are cool.

Siege will only benefit in smarter troop use of such weaponry, Same with Naval, Hygiene would probably reduce chances of an outbreak and economic loss from outbreaks, I can't think of any significant bonus for Farming, Same with Mining, Armoured Wagons would probably increase profit from trade, Same with Bladed Wagons (but what do the blades do?), Horse Breeding probably wouldn't do much, And Horse Armour would probably decrease the movement penalty for armoured cavalry. Of course, I can't see this doing much unless you invested a considerable amount of money.
