Varius stays at the other end of the room, throwing knives ready.
  2. 250 Spewers - Take the form of Warriors with spiked bone plates, have sacs throughout their body in which liquids and dusts are contained, and "release valves" in their hands that are connected to the sacs and that can shoot jets of whatever is contained in the sacs. They currently use Irritant Dust. 250 Archers - Trying to make longer-ranged and stronger bows. 100 Hunters - Looking for new species. 150 Biofluxes - Containing swamp plants for use. 100 Flux Priests - Asking Adakkar how to save themselves and the environment from the Scathe. 50 Farmers - Working with the Biofluxes to harvest Stenchweeds outside of the environment. 50 Mixers - Trying to make a version of the Eel Poison that the Daeka can integrate into their bloodstreams to destroy any parasites. 50 Researchers - Trying to make longer-ranged and stronger bows. 50 Forges - Trying to make longer-ranged and stronger bows. Spewers are created. Berserkers are removed. 250 potential Daeka are made into Spewers and Archers. Hippos Poison Eels Stridefeathers (Daeka name for the fast birds) Smellflowers (Medicine) Stenchweeds (Bread) Irritant Plant (Poison) Swamp Bamboo (Fast growing wood) Bone Bows Irritant Poison (Evaporated into toxic gases and poison residue, then combined) Irritant Dust (Poison made into a dust) Spiked Bone Plate Hippo Armour Thick Bone Plate Hippo Armour Jen... The Biofluxes still have plants. The plants were just removed from the environment.

I start looking around the room for anything worthwhile.
  4. Thank you, Rocco. You may have bought yourself a route to the Underworld dungeon.

I have a gasmask so, yeah, I wait for people to stop shooting at the walls and then sling the body over my shoulder. I continue walking.
  6. Eheh, Mather, Daeka have spiked bone plates. They could have razored mouths, or necks, and we could coat the spinal cord in poisonus residue. Or we could just create veins that connect to any foreign component and integrate them into the circulation, and if we have poisonus blood...
  7. Ross, the Daeka would be willing to accept the Scathe, if they move on from normal areas (like, you would keep the Oracle) and allow the Daeka to rebuild the land afterwards. The Daeka are beings of change, and new beginnings are inevitable. So long as the species and their knowledge are preserved, to be reintegrated later into the environment, destruction is acceptable.

Shoot the oxygen tanks. Oxygen is flammable. Varius takes his knife and runs out of the room.
  9. Eheh, @ Mather and Ross: Remember the Eel Poison and Irritants? Daeka wouldn't be very receptive to hosts. You also need to get through the skin to infect your host... And I have no intention of fighting anyone, yet. If we come to blows, Ross, I will build favour until Adakkar (being god of Flux) can change the essential nature of the Scathe... snapping a mind isn't too hard, so what about one mind for thousands of creatures? Adakkar is the god of Flux, natural, positive change. All things change, and all things die, as someday must the Scathe.

I continue into the electric room, and toss a throwing knife at the levitating crate.
  11. All swamp plants are removed from the environment, and grown only in the biofluxes. The Researchers, Mixers, and Priests clean all of the Daeka, and flush their skin with Eel Poison (a safe distance from anywhere it could cause damage). They try to work out a way to save the local ecosystem and remove the contaminants.
  12. The researchers, mixers, and priests try to determine the cause of the plants dying, and how to fix it.

    What minigame is that?
  14. Nexaduro replied to paul191600's topic in Falador Tavern
Yay! Continuing the no-doubt doomed mission!
  15. That's what we have MaDe for.
  16. You need practice. And you didn't add my new items. 3 Iron Orbs 3 Steel Orbs 5 Steel Bars 6 Steel Broadswords Also, I don't have the halberd-head for my staff anymore. I only have the Quarterstaff. Oh, and I have full Steel Plate Armour, as well as an Iron Chainvest.
  17. The horror! THE HORROR! No offense, Mather, but do you really want to GM for a game this realistic and specific?
  18. I slash the demons off my head, running towards the fire. Any opportunity I have I use to slash at the demons with orb shards.
  19. I separate the steel orbs into small razorblades of steel, and send them in a rapid orbit, slicing at the demons on my body and the ones approaching. I also use stone spikes to impale them and my broadsword to slash them.
  20. It might be the seventh circle, violence, but it's not hot, dry, crowded, or painful enough. Oh, that. Well, Tech only knows what I quote in school about Dante's Inferno and what he looked up on wikipedia.
  21. I love Dante's Inferno! Best book of the 14th century! But the game guaranteed Visceral Game's CEO a place in hell. And no, this is nothing like the second circle.
  22. I use sound magic to deafen myself, and then send out a wave of stone spikes in the direction of the voice. I then continue towards the campfire.
  23. I force the steel orbs under the sand so that the mutual attraction will keep me more stable. I form an air shield so that the breeze does not push me back, and if I succeed I walk towards the campfire.
