Today's session is when? Also, just to make sure my golem plan is clear, this is what I want to try: We all retreat through the barrier, heal, and Hakon distracts the golem while I use geomancy to create a pit beneath it, deep enough so that it can't easily escape. Then Earthsage uses his acid magic to dissolve the soft Einherjarium composing (all or most? Earthsage told me only part of the golem is made of it) the golem's form. Backup plan? We use magic to determine where the golem's crystal is, and I use a thick, hollow drill made of stone to smash a hole through to the life crystal. Then, Hakon shoots magekiller bolts/bullets through the center of the drill to shatter the crystal. Second backup plan? All out assault using Earth's acid magic to prevent the golem from regenerating while I wear away the Einherjarium with blasts of water and Hakon uses his magekiller bolts to slow down any possible regeneration (it can negate metalmagic, right? not entirely, just weakening it slightly?), once we penetrate to the crystal, I shatter it with resonance magic or, failing that, Hakon smashes it with a bullet. Think that'll work?

NOT THE DARNED PLANE OF FIRE. The Sun. Big difference.

Dungeoneering
Well, you use small scale teleportation magic. Portal magic is plausible, just don't trust the cake.

Dungeoneering
Shielding, Ross. And personally, I think the sun would be much simpler with more reliable results. Create some kind of shielding, though I suppose it would need to be completely enclosed to avoid severe radiation fallout and widespread fire.

Better not put it somewhere important, the attacks would cause lots of fallout/debris. That might be amusing, though, putting it near Caster (or Castor, whatever)

Grim? I think the best place would be some kind of salt-flats type place. Desert wouldn't work, Jen would soak it. EDIT: Some kind of dimensional magic, possibly a light/dark/shadow combo like ICU used on Jen during that one duel. It also might be a kind of ritualism...

Heya! Thanks for the compliment Breadman.

Best EE quote ever: "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go collapse from blood-loss" "Knock yourself out"

No, but think of it: A mage creates a tiny portal to, say, the center of the sun. He then creates shielding going in a line between him and the enemy, the exact diameter of the portal. Because of the intense raw heat and radiation, anything in the path of the attack would be destroyed. Think of it as a kind of... dimensional revolver.

Darnit. That's MY idea. I'm not the only one to think of it though, so I guess great minds think alike

Guys, I believe we've lost Nex... "Nex, he's not here, he's all in your mind!" Meh. He was here, just didn't post. >=[

You guys read EE too? Pwnzors!

You mean horse? Underwear isn't particularly good as a travel method, and neither are garden tools =b

Dungeoneering
Hey there Dusty. Haven't met before.
-
Dungeoneering
Your point being? =b At least it would have entertainment value.

When is todays session? I hope to god there is one.

Dungeoneering
I boost movement with sound and wind magic, so it's probably possible.

If we're gonna bring in power-players, keep 'em in reserve. I don't wnat my first real dungeon to be crowded with people who can incinerate everything there =/ Besides, I have several plans to try. Hehe. Earthsage, you may be a poison mage, but that ALSO makes you... an acid mage! You can tell where i'm going with this =)

Zombie Plans-Revised
My favourite zombie killing weapon, would (if I were lucky enough to find such a thing) be an easily synthesized aerosol exponentially increasing the rate at which flesh rots =) Or, of course, one that would specifically kill the zombie parasites. Headcrabs? Hm... the same as the second one, or a flamethrower. Or a PPSH a la WAW zombie mode.

I never understood the stargate series in the first place... They ARE awesome though. This seems unlikely to work.

The Cyber-Duels
The Nexan battle cry; "No Customization Without Moderation!"
-
The Cyber-Duels
*ahem* Leaf = infinitesimal damage, near infinite accuracy + no armour, infinite speed = autowin Any of you who didn't catch the reference, it's understandable. This game is completely messed up, because customization in the Tavern means infinite OP-ness. 'Tis fun to argue, though.

The Cyber-Duels
I am a leaf on the wind... watch how Pie's rules let me beat the crud outta all of you. Hehehehehehe....

Yessir. I recommend retreat through my stone barrier. That's why I made it.

You should've made armour, and lined the inside with all your Einherjarium. Do you even have armour?
