  1. Ng asked me to promise that I'd be her friend forever. I hope saying yes doesn't mean I'm in the friend-zone forever, but either way I'm happy. <3:
  2. Correct Horse Battery Staple.
  3. I've recently begun reading Gunslinger Girl at an age-old recommendation I just remembered. It's heartbreaking. :( I feel a disappointing sense that it's wasted on its own crowd. Beneath a premise that seems somewhat creepy when scrutinized with the wrong mindset, and probably a fanbase that would still seem just as creepy to a blind man, just a little ways into the series I find it about as moving as Puella Magi. Good action, tragic and vaguely psychotic kick-ass heroines, and good dynamics between the characters. Why so many such manga series end up with a creepy image?
  4. Sorry I didn't make it today, I was out from 10:05 to 7:30 watching movies and going out for dinner. :( I really look forwards to playing this, I'm sure it will be nothing short of excellent. (Only thing is, I'm not sure if Sunday's a good day for me... I'll try and figure that out for sure.)
  5. Nice girl is nice. EDIT: Not Wits.
  6. I concur, d'aaaaaww. Also about the game.
  7. Have fun playing in the kiddy pool you guys, meanwhile John and I will be over here doing SCIENCE!
  8. I'll be healing John, then trying to drag him by the ear to the nearest bar to trawl for info on the Secret Project.
  9. Don't really know. I'm not an expert on the subject.
  10. Cartoon. Because it's two completely different things that cater to different people. Avatar: Young males MLP: Young females, lonely young adult males. Avatar also has a pretty heavy periphery demographic. It was made for... Pretty much anyone who would tolerate it. I know several adults, teenage girls, teenage guys, and children of both genders who enjoy it.
  11. Cartoon.
  12. Why didn't Avatar get as much of an online reaction as MLP? That's what I really don't understand.
  13. If there's an afterlife, I want to die via spontaneous combustion during a meeting with a particularly bad boss at old age. That is something I could snicker at for eternity.
  14. What's the matter Eastwood, are you yellow?
  15. I'm a Landitarian. I don't eat bird for a variety of reasons that make little sense, and I'm forbidden from eating fish because my parents are afraid it will kill me.
  16. Because you're a CoD fan, and it's my duty to arbitrarily disagree with you on all matters. And again, I agree.
  17. Make cereal into bread, make cheese sammich with cereal bread, profit.
  18. Staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaare
  19. I remember those Mech Assault Lego ripoff things. They were fairly okay. The Battletech franchise kicks ass in general.
  20. Potassium.
  21. Oh. More complex creative toys, then. I liked Legos, I have a metric crapton of them, but the reason I preferred Bionicles was because, as a child, it was difficult to make anything aesthetically significant with Legos. My parents were better with them, though. When I was five my mother made an inverted pyramidal multi-story, multi-floor shopping mall of her own design that included a working automated elevator powered via Lego Mindstorms gadgetry.
  22. Well, some people enjoyed simple creative toys as children, others enjoyed... Whatever it was you enjoyed.
  23. Only if new games that were good shooters were actually released in place of it. I find it somewhat disappointing that I finally agree with you. Battlefield 3 is okay though, just not enough to be the figurehead of the FPS market.
  24. It broke my heart into a hundred pieces when they stopped making Bionicles. They were my childhood. I was still trying to gather pieces for my giant clockwork golem thingy. :( Older normal Lego sets were also much better than the ones now are. It's all so disappointing.
  25. Morning.
