  1. I melee 99% of my tasks, I cannon some which I really hate, but don't want to waste the points skipping. Does that help, Vulxai?
  2. Well, after getting Slayer Helm + 70 Slayer, I sort of abandoned the skill, but I'm coming back to it. I can afford the two pieces to make the full slayer helm, but I was wondering if it's worth the price. Thanks.
  3. This is my Ultimate P2P Melee guide. Unlike my first guide, this is something more in my area, so it should be a lot more helpful. 1. [hide=Equipment] Helmet: Helm of Neitznot > Berserker Helm > Warrior Helm Top: Bandos > Barrows > Dragon > Rune Legs: Bandos > Barrows > Dragon > Rune Boots: Dragon > Bandos > Rune Cape: Fire Cape > SW Cape > Trimmed SC > Ardy Cloak 3, Untrimmed SC, Obby Amulet: Fury > Glory > Strength > Defence Gloves: Barrows RFD > Dragon RFD > Rune RFD > Regen Brace > Addy RFD > CB brace Ring: Berserker Ring (i) > Berserker Ring > Warrior Ring > Ring of Life Weapon: Whip > GS > SS > D Scim Shield: Blessed Spirit Shield > Rune Defender > DFS > Obby Shield However, if you're using prayer: Helmet: Helm of Neitiznot > Proselyte Top: Proselyte > Initiate Legs: Proselyte > Initiate Boots: White > Dragon Cape: SW Cape, Ardy 3, Trimmed SC Amulet: Fury > Glory Gloves: Barrows RFD > White > Other RFD gloves Ring: Berserker Ring (i) > Berserker Ring > Warrior Ring > Ring of Life Weapon: Whip > GS > SS > D Scim Shield: Blessed Spirit Shield > god Book > Rune Defender > DFS > White Kiteshield [/hide] 2. [hide= Using Summoning Familiars] Healers: Level 34 - Void Spinner - 40 Constituion P/ Minute Level 68 - Bunyip - 80 Constitution P/Minute Level 88 - Unicorn - ? Also, the fighting familiars are very good. [/hide] 3. [hide=Training Methods] One of the most profitable methods is 75-99 using Slayer. I'd suggest using Chaeldar / Duradel / Kuradal as much as possible. If you have done the quest While Guthix Sleeps, Duradel will be replaced by Lapalok. Other methods: 1-10 Chickens, in Lumbridge 10-20 Cows, in Lumbridge 20 - 30 Al Kharid Warriors, in Al Kharid, near the great big fountain Level 30-40 on Guards, in Varrock palace Level 40-60 on Rock Crabs, in Femennik Level 60-75 on Giant Spiders, in level 3 of the Stronghold of Security Level 75-90 on Ankous, in level 4 of the Stronghold of Security Now for levels 90-99, we have a few options, in order of my favorite to least: Slayer - Anywhere between 20-100k P/Hour - Good Profit Armoured Zombies - 120k P/Hour Bandits - Between 60-100k P/Hour Brine Rats - Between 40k - 60k P/Hour - Good Profit Zombies on Ape Atoll - 90k P/Hour Guards on Ape Atoll - 80-90k P/Hour Pest Control - 50-80k P/Hour - Some Profit Soul Wars - 65k P/Hour Ankous - 55k P/Hour - Good Profit Yaks - 40-60k P/Hour [/hide] Notes: This guide is still under construction, I'm adding in some screenshots. If I'm missing a bit of information, please do post it as a response.
  4. So basically, this set-up for my first attempt?: Neitz Glory Ring of Life Black D'hide Top Black D'hide chaps Climbing Boots Whip + Rune Defender Strength Cape Rune Gloves (very cheap ^_^, not risking dragon or barrows on first attempt)
  5. How about I drop the Verac's Helm for Karil's Coif and switch out Guthix Book for Obby Shield? Also, the risk does look a little heft. =\. I'll switch out the Berserk Ring (i) for a Warrior's Ring?
  6. So I worked out a set-up based on your advice, how does this sound?: Helmet: Verac's Helm Top: Karil's Leahtertop Legs: Karil's Leatherskirt Amulet: Glory (4) Cape: Untrimmed Strength Boots: Infinity boots Weapon: Whip + Guthix Book Ring: Berserker ring (i)
  7. Well, I've solo'd Bandos. I've duo'd and trio'd Zamorak, but I think I'm ready to try a Zammy solo. My current gear: Helmet: Neitz Plate: BCP Legwear: Bandos Tassies Weapons: BGS, whip with guthix book Amulet: Strength Boots: Bandos Cape: Untrimmed str cape Gloves: Dragon RFD gloves My stats are in my signature. My friend w/ worse stats than me has solo'd, so I believe I can too, but I need a basic set-up and attack method for solo'ing Zammy.
  8. I edited some mess-ups in this guide. Changing the set-up I have, by changing to neitz and maybe a 2nd inventory idea. The criticism has been constructive, thanks. Also made the title a little more clear. This is the Slayer Dart and Melee method. Also, this is my first guide. ;x I'll try and add in the Black Salamander, too. About this being in the wrong section, I'll PM a mod asking him to move it.
  9. I said Melee on Karil and Ahrim, which I did bring Strength Ammy for. This guide sucks, IK. So Cpt, please actually read. Melee is in there. Lol. Also, I realized this was in the wrong section after I posted it, miserable fail by me. XD. A shield is something I generally don't use, seeing as I GS the majority of everything I kill, unless I Slayer Dart it. Also, the entire guide is being edited.
  10. This is a guide to Barrows. 1. About this guide. This is my first guide, it's very nooby, I know. This guide is simply the method I use, Slayer Dart + Melee combo. There are other methods out there. For this guide you'll need to have done Priest in Peril. You need 55 Slayer and 50 Magic. 2. [hide=Equipment & Inventory] BGS can be swapped out for another weapon, namely Whip, DDS, Claws, or another GS. If you use a whip, switch out the Guthix book for a good shield. Tassets and BCP can be swapped out for barrows pieces, dragon, or rune. Also, Neitz helm can be replaced by a barrows helm. Cape can be replaced by a trimmed skillcape, firecape, or god cloak. Also note that I brought too many runes. This amount isn't needed. [/hide] 3. [hide=Getting there.] Start at the gate west of the Canifis city, by the farming patch. Make sure run is on the entire time you get to the bridge, where to gloomy effect of Mort Myre ends. Drop any food that the Ghasts turned rotten. From there, "Listen" to Bill Blakey. Once you have full run energy again, take this path to Barrows itself. [/hide] 4. [hide=The Fights] Key: Dharok = Blue Black = Guthan Lime Green = Verac Yellow = Torag Red = Ahrim Brown = Karil I fight them in this order: Dharok, Verac, Karil, Ahrim, Torag, Guthan. Of course, this order may be messed up by the line "You have found a hidden tunnel, do you wish to enter?". Select the "No" option, and finish the rest of the order. Come back to this room later. To access a room, climb to the top of the hill of the brother you want (the brothers are shown above) and "Dig" with your spade in the center of it. Once inside, search the Sarcophagus inside to make the brother spawn. When fighting, I use the Prayers / Pots / Food below: Pray Protect / Deflect Melee against Dharok. Pray Protect / Deflect Magic against Ahrim. Pray Protect / Deflect Ranged against Karil. Piety or another stat boosting prayer + Combat pot + food agains Verac, Torag, and Guthan. When fighting the brothers, I attack them with this style: I Slayer Dart 100% of the fight against Dharok, Torag, and Guthan. I use my BGS spec, or whatever spec weapon I have, at the beginning of the fight against Verac, and Slayer Dart the rest. I melee Karil and Ahrim using BGS or whip. [/hide] 5. [hide=Rewards & Getting to the Reward Chest] To get to the reward chest, you run through doors, and you'll soon find the 6th and final brother. Beat him. Then, keep going through doors. Eventually, one door will have a puzzle. If you solve this puzzle correctly, you'll get to the corridor that leads to the Treasure room. If you get the puzzle wrong, simply keep going through doors till you find another door with a puzzle. The rewards are 100% random. You can get rewards such as a D Med, Runes, Bolt Racks, and all the barrows pieces. However, you rarely recieve Barrows items, and a 2 Barrows item chest is extremely rare. Once you get the reward, pick it up if it spawned on the ground due to a full / mostly full inventory, and tele out. If you plan on getting multiple runs in, bring a Teleport to House tablet. Once in your POH (play owned home) use your Kharyll teleport, or go to W31, and use somebody elses. He's one of my rewards: [/hide] Thanks for reading! Please, post some constructive criticism.
  11. The only time I need food is against Verac's, so I bring little. I cast a Slayer Dart, run, cast another, run, and carry on. I bring so many ppots cause often times I have a house tele: Then I just use Kharyll portal, maybe get another monkfish out, and run back down again. Also, this was a quick screenie, it's not what I always use. My barrows guide is more of what I use 9 times out of 10.
  12. Well, by checking our signatures, your stats are obviously a lot better than mine. But still, here's my personal setup. [hide=Melee gear] [/hide] [hide=Magic gear] [/hide] Yes, I bring what's in my inv. I mage Dharok, Verac, Torag, and Guthan. I melee Karil and Ahrim. Forgot the spade, but just substitue a PPot or something for it.
  13. My new Insomnia medication tastes like %#$&

  14. It's really ****** exp nowadays =\, there's lots of better methods lol.
  15. Went to Brine Rats out of boredom, and wadd'ya know! 8th brine sabre ever :3
  16. At your stats? It's not really a "Monster" but Barrows is profitable XD. Also, KBD should be semi-easy. KQ is a maybe...
  17. There's a few methods that work perfectly. I solo Bandos a lot, and this is what I use: Armor Switches. For the first part, Graardor: Helmet: Verac's Helm or Neitiznot Top: Karil's Top Legs: Torag's Legs Amulet: Fury, Glory, a Symbol, or a Stole Boots: Bandos or Dragon Gloves: Barrows, or any other RFD gloves above Addy Weapon: Any GS works perfectly, or use a whip Shield: If you use a whip, use a spirit shield (Blessed and above), Obby shield, DFS, or a Rune Defender(Try not to use it if you don't have to) Prayer: Protect from Melee, or Deflect Melee After Graardor is dead, get the Mager minion Helmet: Verac's Helm or Neitiznot Top: Karil's Top Legs: Torag's Legs Amulet: Fury, Glory, a Symbol, or a Stole Boots: Bandos or Dragon Gloves: Barrows, or any other RFD gloves above Addy Weapon: Any GS works perfectly, or use a whip Shield: If you use a whip, use a spirit shield (Blessed and above), Obby shield, DFS, or a Rune Defender(Try not to use it if you don't have to) Prayer: Protect from Magic, or Deflect Magic Ranger and Melee minions, get them last: Helmet: Verac's Helm or Neitiznot Top: Guthan's Legs: Torag's Amulet: Fury or Glory Boots: Bandos or Dragon Gloves: Barrows, or any other RFD gloves above Addy Weapon: Any GS works perfectly, or use a whip Shield: If using a whip, use a spirit shield (blessed or higher), Obby, DFS, or a Rune Defender(Try not to use it if you don't have to) Prayer: None And for all of them, use Firecape, SW cape, or a Skillcape
  18. Non-Luck based? I'm not 100% sure. At 70 Agility, collecting blue dragon scales can be great money. Rc'ing nats at level 91+ is easily 1.2M+ an hour. GWD is very luck based, but it's still like cash city down there.
  19. Basically, this a log of my random goals nobody cares about! =D. I also post Clue Scroll rewards here, if they're decent enough, or if they suck so bad I "lol" at them. Current/Goal: 120/130 Combat 86/90 Attack 85/99 Defence 92/99 Hitpoints (Constitution) 70/71 Prayer 60/68 Summoning I also want 50+ in all skills, all that's left is Farming, Hunter, and Runecrafting. Also going for 100m+ bank, at 76M atm, this is kind of a money-making log too ;P
  20. I'm level 120, so I get crashed by 130s and such on my Bandos GWD solo's. The snobbish ones think they're all big and badass crashing me; they don't seem to realize how stupid they're making themselves appear to me. The nicer ones I'll happily hop worlds for, when they use words like "please". Matter of fact, one has joined my cc and we duo'd, and a couple even hopped. The snobs can be the biggest [censored] sometimes, though.
  21. Me: I camp Bandos GWD, gotten a BCP drop on a solo, though 50% of my solo's fail XD. I do Slayer Some random cb, like dragons, ankou, brine rats, etc.
  22. Well, trying to work within your budget and levels, this is what I came up with: Helm of Neitiznot Amulet of Glory Obsidian / Spottier / Spotted / Fire / Skillcape Rune Platebody Rune Platelegs Whip Rune Defender Combat bracelet, Regen Brace, or any Recipe for Disaster (RFD) Gaunts above Mithril. Dragon Boots. That's for melee of course.
  23. Well there are quite a few kinds of pures I'm fond of, thought of course my main isn't one ;). I'll give you the maxed forms of the ones I like. Strength Pure: 99 Strength, 99 Attack, 99 Magic, 99 Ranged, 1-20 Defence. Defence Pure: 99 Defence, 99 Attack, 1 Strength, 99 Ranged, 99 Magic. Berserker "Zerker" Pure: 99 Strength, 99 Attack, 45 Defence, 99 Magic, 99 Ranged, 95-99 Prayer. Ranged Pure (play-off of a range tank): 99 Ranged, 1-20 Defence, 95-99 Prayer, misc. combat stats of your choice Bandos Pure (Do these even exsist?): 99 Strength, 99 Attack, 65 Defence, 99 Ranged, 99 Magic, 95-99 Prayer. Notes: These are the MAXED forms of these kinds of pures. Summoning is optional, and can actually be very helpful for pures.
  24. I think I'll use that 2nd one for a bit, Soa, if I can just take it as it is. ;D.
  25. At your level, I'd duo/trio/mass BGWD and SGWD. Also, Farming, Runecrafting, Thieving, Woodcutting, Fishing, some things in Magic, Hunter, Mining, so on can all be decent money. Barrows and Slayer tasks also help.
