You're a little late. Also, there aren't a ton of gs wielders. There aren't a ton? Lol at that. And Godswords/Whip is no longer the 'best' weapons anymore. Whatever. This is getting pointless.

Dungeoneering
that isn't quite what i meant. when i'm fletching and i need to go to the bathroom i'll just click what i have to click to get a few bolts fletched. if i come back before my character logs out, cool, but if i don't, i'm not losing out on as much as 1/5 or 1/4 extra exp (i'm only losing out on a few clicks, which i can easily make up for precisely in a short time). its troublesome and if you have choppy playing time it makes for very low exp gains compared to those who are getting the full bonuses (but finishing the dungeons) and to everyone else, i didn't say that i took hours to do dungeons. i said that that was the case in other mmo's, however jagex sort of dumbed down the whole experience. i have yet to complete a dungeon in under 20 minutes, but some where i obsess over gathering do tend to extend towards the 45 minute range. edit: applyapple, i would hope to god that your not flaming me.. to the best of my knowledge your the OP of one of the noobiest threads in rants right now I am not flaming you. I am just making a point. And as for my nooby thread, live with it. If you want to judge me on it, judge me on that thread.

You don't lose xp you've already gotten.......... As far as 1hr/floor, it means you try to maximize xp/dungeon over xp/hour.

Jagex: The Mother of the Noobs
Why their players? I believe this is a nostalgia rant. It's nothing but constant complaining about the newer updates.

Dungeoneering
Heh. My mom has become dissatisfied by my decreased support to family endeavors (going to school 3 minutes early, for instance) since the release of dungeoneering. Runescape isn't just point and click! DIY!!!!!!!!! I don't know about your incentives thing. Despite your claim that xp is miniscule, you can get decent artisan xp in dungeoneering. And it's way more fun than grinding.

The likeliness of you opening 460 chests for 1 piece of loot at a 1:13 drop rate is .0000000000000102195347%. If your scenario is true, I would suggest trying the lottery. jesus, Ive never calculated the rates. Id hazard to guess back to back double chests is rarer 1/13^4=1/28561=3.501x10^-5=.00003501. Not quite as rare but w/e. That would be the formula I think. Lol. I believe his story, so calculating rates won't help you at all.

Your character is stronger. How's that a problem...? It's not a problem per se. I just hate it. And that means anything because..? To be frank - You're just the average whining player who goes to JaGex and whines about how RuneScape is 'so easy' now. Whip is superior to Dragon Longsword for a reason - it's harder to obtain, costs more and faster. Your argument being that it's 'unfair' for level 70s to hit a few damage higher is irrelevant. People use potions and boosts for a reason - To allow them to hit higher and more accurately. How that is a problem I fail to understand. Sure - They can be replaced, but how is that a problem when every player has the equal opportunity of using them, for a measily cost of roughly 30k/h. There is nothing wrong with it. People who decide to use their prayers to train can, shall they pay for the prayer potions. Why that is a problem is still a mystery to me. And why do you refer to people's combat levels anyways? Level 70 with 99 strength is no different to level 120 with 99 strength. Granted, the level 70 is a pure and dont have turmoil/piety/str boosting armour, but they still have the same strength level. The determining factor of high hits. Rune Scimitar can hit in the high 40s if you give yourself enough boosts. Such as Turmoil Full Bandos Ovls and more. Is that unfair? No, not really. If it's PvP you're talking about - Then it's a completely different story. Pures lack defence, which makes them godly and puny at the same time, depending on the circumstances. Besides - They cripple themselves in so much of RuneScape they are practically a PvP only account. It doesn't matter. That's the reason it's a rant. There we go. We've established this argument is stupid, alongside most other rants on these boards. We established that on like page 2. But if people want to keep telling me I'm wrong, I'll respond to them.

The ditch? I agree. I wish rich friends were actually willing to give away their stuff.....................So sick of giving my friends discounts and then they sell of whatever I give them. But buying gold is a point (especially considering it's illegal). The ditch is what seperate the wilderness and the "normal" world. We used to not have to click to enter the wilderness and instead a warning window appeared. Never liked luring. The ditch is a nice addition.

Uh, when barrows armour has a drop rate of 1/18 from the chest, and I get 1/300, i THINK that is bad luck and not a "probability thing". 1/18 chances of getting barrows sounds extremely high to me, it makes me wonder why barrows aren't more common if it's 1/18 Maybe it's including dragon meds, key halves and the like? Oh and guess what I just got, :wall: Loop half, minds, deaths, bloods and gp?

Jagex: The Mother of the Noobs
So, do you think the GE is a problem? not really, just an easier way to do what people on rs have always been doing with each other True, true. The ease of getting something really annoys me though.

he thinks whip is OP because it is the best atk/def training weapon, requires a high slayer level to 'find' - but it is pretty much welfare due to its cheap price op has a problem with players buying their success in rs, and would prefer everyone to diy their characters slowly op finds this^ fun, and fails to grasp that others derive fun from different things - like buying [bleep]ing awesome weapons on the ge and [bleep]ing [cabbage] up ASAP ;) or is a troll :) If I were a troll, wouldn't you all argue with each other rather than against me? And yeah, you have it pretty much right there.

Jagex: The Mother of the Noobs
It's cool :) I am kind of in agreement with you about that also, they do baby players quite a bit. They make the game easy (too easy if you ask me). Ingrates who are always complaining............... This is one of the few rants with a justified point behind it! I wonder how much of it is nostalgia?

Jagex: The Mother of the Noobs
Oh, I didn't realize making a post with superb grammar, spelling, punctuation, and a good show of reasons and (some) logic was whining. If you put a credit card in to buy Runescape money on a non official site (i.e. Jagex does not sell gold) you also deserve to get your credit card stolen. I am not saying you do not. I am saying that it was happening, and that is why Jagex removed everything you posted about. Jagex could care less if a few nooby players got lured, or scammed. But people were stealing credit card numbers, and perhaps using them to buy memberships for their multiple bots, and then defaulting on the payments because the card got canceled. Thus, jagex was losing money from memberships. Also, the fact that if you lost your credit card number while trying to buy runescape gp is reason enough to start a lawsuit. I am not saying this is right, or anything like that. Sueing a company because you were trying to break their rules and got scammed is ridiculous, and should be laughed out every lawyers office. But it isn't, it is something that was a risk to Jagex. When you can win a lawsuit against the state for installing guard rails that do not "guard" your car and keep it on the road when you hit the guard rail at 40 mph dead on, pretty much anything is possible. (they are now called guide rails btw) Same thing with sueing mcdonalds because you spilled coffee on yourself, or sueing the homeowner who shot you when you were attempting to burglarize his house at night. These should never have happened, but they all did, and they all were won. Therefore, Jagex was at risk of getting embroiled in a lawsuit cause some stupid noob lost their credit cards trying to break the rules. (yes they deserved it) Jagex didn't want to have to waste time and money fighting lawsuit after lawsuit. They also wanted their players to play the game, not just buy money from a gp seller and then after a few months get bored because they have finished buying everything in the game. I actually posted a response to this because you had good grammar, spelling, punctuation. If you hadn't, I would simply have told you to shut up and to back to the RSOF. The reasons you gave for the RWT fixes Jagex instituted in 2007 were incorrect. Because of this, I naturally assumed that you were just complaining, and avoiding the actual reason for these fixes. You're also posting in the rants forum, what does anyone else do in here but whine and complain about things they do not like. Corruption makes me sad.
