  1. Wow. I didn't even notice these when I was over there. I guess I should really clean my glasses.
  2. I guess if three people say it it must be right. I just don't remember the druids dropping rare herbs this often. Thanks to all of you for the information.
  3. With your combat stats I say you would be fine with just super potions. I think those extreme potions are for EXTREME necessity and not for people who have almost 99 in all combat related skills.
  4. I have recently started to collect herbs for Herblore at the Member's Dungeon. I noticed that while wearing the RoW they drop rare herbs more often which is good. They also drop just bones more often. I wonder if removing my RoW will make them drop herb any faster since I am interested in leveling Herblore I will need tons of low-level herbs. Any advice?
  5. I hear you. I saw this not 5 minutes after the update. I know of somethings that were bugs though. The melee gloves said 120 Strength bonus but I went back not too long ago and they said 12 Strength bonus. Many other items had the same problem. This might be a bug but I highly doubt it. I think a lot of people are going to find relief in knowing that after 10 years the level cap of 99 has been broken (which may in fact be a clue to a bigger update).
  6. I wonder when Tip.It will be doing research on this new skill. Ugh! Played for a while but found it particularly tough with my low Smithing. Will try again later. That "Bonecrusher" reward seems very useful for lower leveled player but a mind-bending 110k points for it seems over-priced (just like most rewards available).
  7. This is the same reason why I came back to Runescape. I was playing World of Warcraft for about a year before my deployment. I found that Blizzard doesn't really care that people want to cheat at their game. I found myself not being accepted much because I didn't have high enough levels. So I spent hundreds of dollars buying gold for the game. I got to max my levels that same week and after I was done I felt empty. I like that, while being so simple (simpler than WoW), Runescape keeps me from any temptation of cheating. The bottom line: Even though I may grind to get to a certain level I feel completed when I do because I set my mind to do a task then complete the task.
  8. On the article about fun: I think this is very true. A lot of times I find myself doing skills that I really don't want to do because of the grinding it involves. I personally enjoy killing monsters and doing quests. I don't really strive to have a level 99 anytime soon other than my combats. I just try to balance what I am doing and try not to grind for days without doing something else. Like for example, right now I am grinding some mining levels so I can train Smithing and do the Lumbridge tasks. I am also farming the spots on Catherby and Canifis. This way I can relieve the stress of mining while having fun taking care of my beautiful sweetcorn plants.
  9. Thank you man. I feel like a total newb.
  10. I have recently returned to RS after 4 yrs in limbo. I was looking at my Adventurer's Log and I was wondering how in the world I can get a picture of my avatar in there like I saw on some pictures on another thread. Help will be gladly appreciated.
  11. Hello everyone. I am not new to either Runescape or Tip.It. I have been in and out of Runescape 3 times since '04. A lot of things kind of conspired to take me away from the game. After graduating High School and joining the US Army I reconnected with my online self but this time on World Of Warcraft. Faced with an imminent deployment to Afghanistan I quit WoW with the intent of coming back after my return to the US. The amounts of down time I get while waiting to get blown up are amazing. Everyone pretty much knows that, if I am not running for my life, I am at the computer room. That is the reason why I started to connect with Runescape. I started looking at some guides in the Tip.It website. Then, I made my new Runescape account "E_L_I_G_O_S". I was amazed to all that had changed. I quickly found myself lost in a game I had once known every detail to. Is been 2 weeks since I have been at peace with my inner gamer and it feels all too familiar. I didn't think I could jump into action after being out for so long but I did. I was never a member of Tip.It but a recent article inspired me to contribute to the community. After all, I owe it to Tip.It since they helped me when I didn't know what to train on or where to find something. If you want to find me in game I will be stealing seeds from a certain farmer who hangs out in the Draynor marketplace on W77. PS: My old account name is Foodsseller. Just in case I run into anybody that used to know me ( very likely considering I used to make myself known everywhere I went ).
