The Back Room
Very much so. I'd change a few things around, but its fine as is. I'd rather not critique your work publicly. xD EDIT: Going to give EotB till this evening, cuz we're kinda just leaving everyone else out. Tis unfair, so I'm going to wait for someone besides you or myself to post. If thats fine by you?

The End of the Beginning
Silently, like a serpent in the night, Nighleena slithered between buildings, edging closer to the treeline. A small creak came from the roof of the house she was currently running alongside. Four assassins dropped down around her, cutting off her escape route. Their garb was nothing more than an acolyte's suit, feeble katana's sheathed upon their backs. "By order of the Overseer, you're time has come, Traitor!" the leader of the assassination squad spat at her feet. Nighleena stared down the speaker, a furious rage illuminating her eyes. She immediately sized up each opponent within that moment, calculating how the fight would unfold. Not a even a second had passed and Nighleena had unlatched her kusari-gama, lashing the blade out like a whip from her waist. The sickle completely decapitated the assassin in front of her, his head flew into the sky above the rooftop and fell back down with a sickening thud. The full kusari-gama now in Nighleena's hands, there was no saving these amateurs from her fury.

Impact of LOTRO
As a veteran Runescape player and World of Warcraft player, I think it is safe to assume LOTRO won't drag too many away. I play both games off and on. Some aspects of the more in depth MMO's intrigue me, while the simplistic Runescape is a nice game to play while relaxing, or reading, etc...But Runescape also has activities that allow for interactive gameplay too. Maybe not as 'intense', but it is different enough that I find it holds its own against other MMOs.

The End of the Beginning
A flash of surprise trailed across Nighleena's face for no more than a quarter of a second before she regained focus. Looking down at the well placed shuriken, she let out yet another sinister laugh. "I really don't know to be perfectly honest, but I really don't care anymore either," the venomous loathing spewed from her throat as she spoke, adding a shrill ring to each syllable. "If you really want to know, why don't you waltz down to the palace and ask the old fool? Or maybe I will end you...right...where...you....STAND!" Her body was but a brief flash; the kunoichi's knee collided with Vixion's chest, causing him to fly into an alley wall. Nighleena's cackle was bonechilling as she took off again, mocking him with her acrobatics, "Catch me if you can, you insolent whelp!"

The End of the Beginning
Nighleena giggled sinisterly as Vixion stepped in the crow warlock's way. She let the sickle blade slow to a halt and used the opportunity to bolt, weaving between buildings and alleyways. A shadow flew over Kyla, growing larger and larger as her steed descended upon her location. With a great roar, Heartflux, Kyla's blood dragon, landed next to the El-Kin guardian. The slender wyrm's skin was a deep red, much like the ancient runes embedded upon Kyla's armor. Three claws adorned each foot, accompanied by a fourth claw upon the heel as well. Heartflux turned to face his master, Kyla. 'You called, my Mistress?' he asked her through telepathy. 'Yes, I have reason to believe Akari may be in trouble,' she returned swiftly, mounting the red beast as she did. Seconds later they were soaring towards Kyla's sanctuary with desperate haste.

The End of the Beginning
A shattered expression tore across Kyla's face at Tuck's words; a look that quickly turned to rage. Grabbing the dog by the throat, she lifted him off the ground. Using her other hand she effortlessly unsheathed the greatsword upon her back as easily as if it were a butter knife. "To not make such threats, Dog. I will cut you down without hesitation if you do so again," her words had adopted a venomous snarl, teeth gnashing as she spoke. Kyla threw the dog to the ground brutally, uncaring as the thing whimpered. Turning back to Vixion, "Do not look at me like that!" After a short pause, "I must return home. You have my apologies. Best of luck aiding your friend." Stepping a short distance away, Kyla blew upon a horn that was slung over her shoulder and down to her waist. She then standed there as if waiting for someone.

The End of the Beginning
Tuck's demonic scent filled Kyla's nostrils seconds after his arrival, so she was not surprised by the hostility in the dog's voice. "Still trapped in your eternal prison I see," her words soft, but scorching to the mutts ears. She remained expressionless as the mutt growled at her, clearly showing that his threatening tone was no more than a bluff. Turning back to Vixion, "That canine is nothing more than an ancient demon, permanently trapped in his transformation into a dog. He is harmless to most, so you need not worry. Leash him, and lets be off."

The End of the Beginning
Despite the awkwardness of the clumsy ninja standing before her, Kyla stopped to listen. Maybe this ninja wasn't as inexperienced as he seemed, because the noise was barely audible. If it weren't for her magically enhanced senses she would have never heard the wind being sliced by the whirling of a deadly blade. Looking back over at the scruffy man, Kyla was impressed that he had heard it at all. There wasn't a scent of magical aura about him, yet he caught the noise so easily. In fact, better than she herself would have. Kyla closed her eyes and sighed. She had hoped to avoid any confrontations, but it seemed such a luxury was not possible. Ripping her cloak off, the armor beneath was revealed. Ancient symbols of dark red adorned a light, metallic, plate material. Attached at the waist of her plateskirt, a series of pouches, also red in color, hung loose about the metal. A greatsword was sheathed on her back, its handle silver, a jewel of red in the hilt center.
