  2. I've made the dwarf fortress thread. Edit: just realised Earth has made one, I don't care which one you use just as long as its out of here :P
  3. Iconic posted a topic in Off-Topic
Dwarf Fortress is an ASCII game which includes both a roguelike adventure mode, and the more popular Dwarf Fortress Mode, which focuses on the creation and survival of a small dwarven settlement. It has a very steep learning curve, partly due to its ASCII graphics, but also due to the fact that it is one of the most complex games ever released. Dwarf Fortress is completely free. Before you play, you must generate a world to play in, which persists until you create a new one. World generation can be time consuming, even on modern computers, but be patient. It's worth it. As the game seems insanely popular in the back room (and the only thing being discussed recently) I have decided it would be best to create a new thread, so keep all discussion of it here and guides and stuff can be posted here, if anyone wants anything put on the main page please Green Bold your requests so it catches my attention while skimming. some helpful links: Download & Main website Dwarf Fortress Wiki Wikipedia page
  4. Why don't you people make a new thread like you did for H&H?
  5. This computer is problematic, I can't wait to get a laptop.
  6. Does anyone here have a roblox acount, its a really fun game filled with zombie shooters! I'm playing "Survival: Apocalypse (READ DESCRIPTION!) "
  7. Well that game is not fun at all, I have no idea where to start.
  8. I know but its a bit rude to just storm into someones game and just scream that your in charge, I don't think many people would accept it and to be honest I would rather play and don't know how to dice roll, but I was just making a call out to whoever wants to take the post for a small period of time, would they be free to. I've just downloaded and loaded dwarf fortress, playing Slaves oto Armok: God of blood, I just realised that world creation would've went on forever unless I pressed enter lol, anyway I'm playing dwarf fortress game mode, i'm playing in a sinister area. 9. Retech, would you allow anyone else to mod D'neering, rule 5 states 'Listen to the loudest, If the leader gets quiet then we elect a new leader' and its not really been properly active. My new sig, cool eh? Edit: Nexaduro is voted most for past dungeoneering.
  10. what game is this?
  11. Yum!
  12. Its so much better when people do things the same, I mean look at language barriers - they're awful!
  13. This is why everyone should use metric, a simple decimilised system which most of the world uses. Its only two countrys that don't use metric, America and India.
  14. Edel enters the abandoned mine (is my boar with me?) (for those who don't understand Rocco's old fashioned measurements he's saying 1.8 metres)
  15. After reading I think your going to have to spend 120 days in england doing nothing until your a citizen and maybe you need some experience first. Basically: * five years legal residence in the UK * indefinite leave to remain or "equivalent" for this purpose (see above) must have been held for 12 months * the applicant must intend to continue to live in the UK or work overseas for the UK government or a British corporation or association * the same "good character" standards apply as for those married to British citizens * the same language and knowledge of life in the UK standards apply as for those married to British citizens
  16. Jagex wouldn't employ an American person unless they were amazing at their field and its much easier to simply get into the PC games field (their are tons of other games) and then attempt to get experience so Jagex would immediatly employ you. I'm afraid that its just not that great to be a Jagex worker, being able to get mod powers of teleportation and shape changing and all that stuff is basically what people get on private servers (never tried it), its just a normal job with a superpowered runescape acount, I don't even think all workers get a jagex mod acount. Jagex employee's are allowed to play whatever they like, I can't really imagine the higher moderators going around with a whip forcing people to play runescape.
  17. Well....
  18. Yeh, I think saving it would be the best option because if you keep saving money in the end you will be able to afford a boat, and a boat is much cooler than a ps3. And so's a ps4, I'll bet you'll be pretty pissed if you get a ps3 and a month later a ps4 or a Kinect comes out.
  19. Retech, are we allowed to play Dungeoneering tonight?
  20. Nothing could possibly beat my avatar, I reckon I'm safe to say that I have the most epic avatar ever made.
  21. That couldn't be possibly a bad thing, your doing something you love!
  22. Also people will rate up opinions not quality of posts and moderators and admins will get high ratings when they are rude to members who are seen as trolls or unpopular, like when a mod bans someone and everyone starts saying "Wow, your epic"
  23. I don't think I am capable of modding this.
  24. Retech, can we play Dneering?
