  1. Going to play tonight? Retech, would you consider changing the thread title.
  2. Have we reset budget yet?
  3. Retech & Rocco, done and done. Mather, 1g+1f will equal 3 wood at a maximum depending on how much money and time you spend on it.
  4. The Kings and Dukes of Europe have gone and the knights don't know who to look to for orders, this leaves you: The Barons to attempt to reunite your country and maybe try to get a little bit more for yourself. Empires will crumble at your hands, men will die for you and Europe will be plunged into chaos. Welcome to Castle Dynastys, the game about conquest of Europe. Castle Dynastys is set in the 14th century Resources In Castle Dynastys there is three different Resources, Food, Wood and Gold; all have their different uses. Food is gained by owning farms Gold is gained by owning mines Wood is gained by cutting down tree's, this can only be done by giving the logger 1 Gold & 1 Food so you can effecttivally convert 1f,1g into 1w To get hold of mines and farms you have to conquer them. To conquer a farm/mine you just need to send soldiers in, farmers/miners are just as powerful as standard soldiers and farms/mines will have a random number of workers ranging from 1 to 20. Once you own a farm or a mine you will gain 10 food/gold from it every two days (two days = one economic year) If a farm/mine is attacked you need to send soldiers to defend it otherwise it is taken over. Warfare & Conquestt Conquest of NPC castles works in the same way as conquest of farms and mines however they can have 1 to 20 standard and non standard soldiers that are more powerful. You can gain a castle off another player by attacking it with a higher number of soldiers than they are willing to defend it with. Their are three types of units, Cavalry, Ranged and Infantry. Ranged beats Cavalry. Cavalry beats Infantry Infantry beats Ranged Their is also three classes of units, a higher class of unit will beat a unit under it whatever type of unit it is, the type only matters if the units are the same. Standard - cost 1g, 1f/ 1 Elite - cost 2g, 2f/ 2 Imperial - cost 4g, 4f/ 4 The numbers at the back signify their power, it would take four standards to take down an imperial like it would take one imperial to take down four standards (everyone dies at the end anyway) it would take two elites to kill one imperial. Ships require all three resources in a 1:1:1 ratio and the more the resources, the more powerful the ship. It takes 1g, 1f to deploy any unit. Player List Grimdeath - Uk Trol - Spain Rocco - Switzerland Retech - italy Icu - France. Mather - Norway Map: [hide][/hide] Please start right away, all players start with 10 of each resource and 10 of each soldier, please remember it costs 1g and 1f to deploy.

Grimdeath - Uk Trol - Spain Rocco - Switzerland Retech - Bottom of italy, Sicily not added due to human error. Icu - Cool colour , France. Mather - Your a baron starting with only one castle, your going to need to choose one country.
  6. Wow, I come here and it usually cheers me up.

Mather, the game works like a civilisation game, once a mine is owned the resources are saved and kept. The map has been completed in every sense apart from the castles, farms, docks and mines. Before I finalise the map. Cavalry - 1g, 1f Infantry - 1g, 1f Archers - 1g, 1f Chariot - 2g, 2f [insert name here] - 2g, 2f Crossbowman - 2g, 2f Destroyer style ship - 10g, 10f, 10w Their are more coming.

Because each person is only starting off with one castle each your going to have to choose southern norway or sweden. If its not on the map you can't use it, whatever it is; its just a bit too much confusion. Your bonus's will be snow and having a dock.
  9. I go the way I didn't go before.
  10. I follow that road only backwards, away from the town. I'm assuming to boar is still following me.
  11. I attempt to walk out of the forest by walking forward.
  12. I tap the boar on the head and stand up, hoping it will follow me.

Map so far: As you can see its ever so nearly completed, I just need to colour in a couple of islands, add some tree's and than finally add the castles, the castles and tree's are just a copypasta job though. Edit: And add the top of Africa (Morroco)
  14. So If it arranged at a later date I could get more players.

    Ok added.
  16. Ross and Earthsage, you seen the Dynasties thread yet?
  17. This boar is my spirit guide, he's probably placing me into a hallucination so I can learn more about nature magic. Anyone ever seen Hannibal or read Hannibal, the rich child molester with his deformed face ties Hannibal down and has these specially-bred boars to kill hannibal in a painful and bad way.
  18. Nex, sorry I read. Boars are omnivores but don't ever eat live flesh.
  19. Luckily boars are herbivores. Am I in sleep now? I attempt to wake up from my sleep.

I was planning on managing each different group of people as a different battle, a 1 unit can beat a 10 unit with the right tactics but in a one on one battle ten would always win. I was thinking of using a system much like Dustys Rock-Paper-Scissors with Cavalry, beating Infantry but Infantry beating Archers who beat Cavalry. And yes, Sicily will definately have a port.

Now, this is a double post but I'd also like to bump it to show that their is new news. I was hoping to implant a religious system, at first I thought conquering chuches would be the right thing to do but I'm not sure if simply conquering churches and getting a new currency would be so great, I think their should be something a lot more interesting that would allow the moderator (me) to control churches and let churches do different things, anyway I have no idea what to do? Has anyone got any idea's of what to do with Religion/Churches, therecould be some great gameplay. If I were to give all units a value out of ten does anyone know the sum that would work who would win in a battle?
  22. I'm too tired to try it now but I'll see if I can do it on photoshop. I hope my game turns out well.
  23. What is your signiture from? I remember someone saying it was from some sad video. I think that the signiture and avatar are more of a defining feature than the name, if you change it people won't know who you are. You know for laughs we should all switch!

Awknowledged, Rocco. You get the nice chocolate bonus, as Spain gets the sangria bonus while England gets the [cabbage] weather bonus.
  25. Because they're just so epic! And it shows utter disregard for other people.
