I just tried that game out, its hard to position things and it runs slowly on my computer so I won't be playing it actively. In other news, if anyone remembers that map I posted a while back which I said that I was going to adapt into a game. I am making a new game in the model of the hegemonys, it will be set in post medieval times with an alternative history which means that causes conflict. Its the holidays so a system will probably be ready quicker than normal. I think that it would be a little more complicated than the standard hegemonys because we will have to document different area's differently but if we get around that problem we will have a lot of fun. Just giving you a heads up that its coming. I've decided that the map will consist of UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Morroco and Algeria (so its basically just UK south into Africa) but if we need more space I will expand accordingly (the nature of the game means that I'll have to draw it all)

earthsage, can we please not go off topic especially if we are talking about games that no-ones heard about. It has nothing to do with the discussion at all. I'd like to play, its a great game. Do Ravaged citys pose a problem to the player if they are your own zombies?

Dungeonal, I don't think you are allowed to choose the US because as dusty has said: I am not sure if the US is established as a major power around this time period, it is mainly luck that the american riots prevailed however it could still be established as a major power if no-one continuously attacks it for weeks and the American Indians don't rebel killing thousands of the English Renegades. Retech, they weren't the superpower of the day but because history happened as it did we need to avoid thinking of America as a superpower when its not.

I think we should write a short alternative history for the sake of the game. I don't think rewriting a lot of things and creating new cultures and races would be worth it but if we simply wrap up any problems. In my opinion America, China, Russia and other super powers should be inhabited only by tribes of enemys that don't attack but only defend what is rightfully theirs. We could say this. When Christopher Columbus was on the route to discover America for Europe a maelstrom took him off course breaking his boat and killing him, Americans caught sight of the ships and guessed they were invaders so they now have a huge military.

The flag of Austro-Hungary has been changed in honour of the hard workers and soldiers who are the backbone of the country and economy. The sword represents the military force of Austro-Hungary while the Sickle represents the hard workers. The two-headed eagle represents tradition in our country. The colours show that our country can be calm and placid but also hot and fiery. The star represents our ambitions. [hide][/hide]

I vowed not to come back until I had drawn all the characters from the webcomics, completed the OP of my new game and stuff but this seems fun. I take Austro-Hungary please. I know that you are trying to fit a genre but other countrys did exist in those times those times howevers aren't documented in any decent history books.

the Papal state under much discussion as decided to aid The Holy Roman empire in their holy war. 5,000 Knights of St. Peter have been dispatched and are now in order of The Holy Roman Empire. The knights of The Rock are an extremly grizzled military force and the backbone of a perfect army, they wear a thick metal suit which is twice as heavy and as strong as a normal suit of armour with chainmail arms and a thick platebody and flexible chainmail trousers instead of hard plate mail (this is about the same weight as modern military gear). Most are geared with a swordaxe which is a sword with a weighted axe shaped head meaning that wherever you are hit you will still get cut. The knights of The Rock wear classical crusader gear (white with images of cross but with a rock placed behind the Crucifix). The Papal state requests but does not order something in return (such as technology)

Estefan thought he was going to die, he aimed a kick at Chaks face but it missed, the stab had clearly deorientated him but then as Chak collapsed he realised he wasn't dead, the wound had completly missed his heart and went through his numb left arm and realising that the pain was superficial he snapped the spear out of his arm leaving in a wood splint but letting the rest stick in Chak's body. Chak fell to the floor while Estefan scribbled the symbol out of the ground replacing it with a symbol universially understood as suicide. Although the wound was not as fatal as it could've been it was still causing rapid blood loss, he needed to get the mission done. He shot the pistol twice into the village causing fires and screams, picking up the assult rifle from across the floor it turned out it was actually another gyrojet. 649 people died that day. Chaka "the tyrant"'s body is now displayed in a museum. Estefan now owns a mansion and lives with the best healthcare, his arm has been e restored. The rest of the village died of fire.

I may have an answer but its could be incorrect. My DVD channel has the option to appearin black and white for some unknown reason by pressing a button which looks like a square with an arrow in it, it can turn back into colour television by clicking again. If it is appearing for every channel I'm probably wrong. Try entering settings (you should have a manual somewhere) and messing about with the settings, you should right down what you changed incase you want to change it back.

The Panther managed to maul and break Estefans arm till it was useless to fight with but soon the Panther was flown off, set on fire by the explosive pistol. Estefan smashed his machete on the panthers head taking a sadistic pleasure out of knowing that the hunter was now the hunted and that he could beat evolution with a piece of metal. Standing up and stumbling towards Chak he aimed his gyrojet pistol at him and failing to hit him resulting in a catastropic explosion behind him meaning nothing to Chak but probably meaning a lot to the people or animals inside the burning bambo gallows. Estefan took another stumble and fired his pistol again resulting in another miss. This time he took his machete and stumbling with the pain made an accurate cut into Chak's shoulder.

Estefans flat flew off as he ripped the machete out of his scabbard, he ran around a bit attempting to tease Chak'Waka into attacking but quickly ran towards Chak'Waka making a large sideways cleave into his neck. Now behind Chack'Waka Estefan took a Gyrojet pistol out of clothes and aimed it into the sky causing a burnt tree and monkey skull to plummet through the air at Chak'Waka's head.

New Arena: Jungle somewhere near Vietnam. Estefan ripped down a couple of tree's with his Machete, wood flew out of his way as he smadhed his way towards a small clearing; where the fight was arranged and one person was going to walk away with a new skull as a trophy. The clearing was barren, but the insects seemed to know that there was going to be bloodshead tonight, they scuttled up Estefans trousers and all around over him like vultures eyeing up the people they know will die. Estefan was tall with a large muscular build and weathered face from the past battles he had been in, clearly shown by his sporting of a large slash that seems to start from his forhead and end at his eye leaving his right eye mangled and black. Estefan has no beard but has a couple of black bristles and a long uncombed hair. Most of his hat is covered by a red fez while the rest of his clothes resemble red military dress with baggy black trousers and boots with clear bulges resembling pistols. A necklace of shrunken heads was worn around his neck. Taking a large gun resembling an assult rifle out he held the gun with his left hand and waited for his opponent to arrive.

It doesn't matter as long as two people are still playing. Non-Magical or Magical or that Tavern brawl one, I'd rather go for Non-magical.

Although the map is big the game is on a much smaller game than any game ever featured here (apart from of course roleplays). If we atleast three quarters of the players of Ye Olde Hegemony than we will probably have one castle each, each castle gets different statistics about its performance and wooden castles are actually towns.

Its a new tavern game about castle warfare.
