  1. Ehh they really should've just overhauled everything and made RS3 instead of EOC. Too much of the game is unbalanced and broken beyond repair as is. I don't think Jagex even has a goal or vision of what RS "should" look like. They're just basing all of their decisions off of what "seems right" or whatever appeases the loudest group of players.
  2. Sometimes I think you guys are just trolling/nitpicking/playing dumb for the sake of argument lol. I mean seriously Ginger, do you REALLY think touching a girl on the back or holding her hand is complicated? Do you really think it's difficult to grasp that the more you touch someone, the more receptive they'll be to more touching/kissing? If you guys are having a hard time wrapping your head around a simple concept like that, then this thread's visitors are worse than I thought lol
  3. This argument goes back to how in the "golden age" of RS, 20 hours was considered normal hard work for the best gear. Nowadays it's over 200 hours. Uhh, no thanks.
  4. You call it over-complicating, I call it being smart :P
  5. Don't ask her for her permission, that turns off a lot of women. Just go for it. The more you've been touching her (and she's been touching you) prior to the kiss, the greater the odds of her wanting to kiss you. Think about it. If you've been holding her hand and rubbing her back for the past hour, and then go in for a kiss, don't you think she'll be a bit more receptive than if you haven't been touching her at all?
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKss2uYpih8 Well this is the final nail in the coffin for me. Done playing for now :P
  7. Personally I don't see anything wrong with taking drugs to accelerate the learning process, as long as you don't become dependent upon them. I have a feeling that you didn't read the post which Ginger quoted. Here it is, with Ginger's excerpt struck through (if you read the following sentence, he even states that his advice is intended for those who do not do drugs):
  8. This one cracked me up: Dafuq did I just read? :-s Not sure why that confuses you >_> His post makes a lot of sense and was very helpful to me.

  10. You're on the right track. It ultimately boils down to what you're looking for though.
  11. Would it be a bad idea to have new bosses drop lvl 90+ gear, and at the same time release new raw materials for 90+ mining/smithing/efc to repair it? To give skillers a source of income again
  12. Yeah, do high weights with low reps on bench press, squats, and deadlifts
  13. I can almost guarantee it's because you don't do enough strength training. I started lifting weights consistently (5 times/week, 60-90 mins/day) in Oct 2008. Gained 20 lbs in about 3 months without changing my diet. (I weighed 105 lbs to start, so gainig weight was a good thing :P)
  14. How long will it take Jagex to realize that banning bots/botters is a waste of time and effort? If they want to get rid of botting, they need to completely overhaul RS such that people no longer bot in the first place. In other words: 1. Remove free trade again 2. Stop encouraging players to grind and value XP/efficiency/achievements over everything else
  15. Just learn to discipline yourself to do things that you don't want to do. Eventually it will become a habit. Fun fact: it only takes about 21 days to develop a new habit.
  16. Rpg-- feeling down and reflecting isn't beta, it's human. 1. Figure out what you really want, and why. 2. Figure out how to achieve it 3. Get to work! If you're not making any progress then try a different strategy (ex. drink less alcohol). If you're making progress, keep doing what you've been doing. I talk about it more in depth here You just need some goals to give your life some purpose/excitement/meaning. You'd be surprised at how good you feel when you make even the tiniest amount of progress towards a goal. If you're out of shape, fitness goals are a good place to start.
  17. No my laptop sits on my desk and hooks up to my tv :P BUT MY TV SITS ON MY LAP AND IT REALLY HURTS
  18. When I'm in bed for the night, I either watch a video/TV show or read a book that'll make me smarter and/or happier, until I fall asleep. This usually includes: -Watching any comedy that makes me smile/laugh out loud -Watching almost anything on The Science Channel -Watching any educational and/or funny Youtube videos like the one I just posted (my laptop can hook up to my TV) -Reading about business, dating, meditation, gymnastics, etc. either on my phone or if I've got a book on it I also do "Trauma Release Exercises" while doing the above (Google it). I'm posting this from my phone in bed while watching a science channel documentary on how sheets of titanium metal are made btw :P
  19. What didn't you like about Looper? Recently saw: This is 40 Django Life of Pi Liked all of them. Movies are getting long now, which is great. All of them were over 2 hours.
  20. Uhhh... aren't demons weak to range now? Why does it sound like we are getting melee gear to fight monsters that use magic and are resistant to melee? They couldn't be that dumb... right? Right? It could really go either way.
  21. It was mostly a matter of unlocking the scythe and realizing that I didn't really unlock anything new. Just more of the same.
  22. I think the whole "sad" vs "depressing" thing is just semantics. Regardless, you can't fault Ginger for thinking it's sad/depressing, considering that scene was intended to make you feel that way.
  23. Anyone else bored/tired of the ports already? I think I'm done playing for a while lol
  24. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hefnoxis7M Good actionable advice for accomplishing your relationship/socializing goals and conquering fears/anxieties. Funny too. Skip to ~40 mins in if you're lazy.
  25. I see nobody's commented on the SoF/SGS this month. Good to see we've gotten past the phase of, "Wow gf RS, another SOF update! This whole month's been ruined!"
