How critical is a high magic attack bonus at Glacors? I've been killing them w/ Akrisae and SW cape + prayer renewals and reverence, so my prayer pretty much never depletes. I've started killing the glacytes w/ SoA and I've been wondering if anybody's tested to see if there's a significant increase in kills/hr w/ higher magic att bonus, or if they're like the barrows brothers/rock lobs/dagannoth rex where magic att isn't very important

After getting 54 shards w/o a boot drop at Glacors (a.k.a. "glakkers"), I decided to sell 50 shards and buy a staff for "half price" to make killing the glaklets faster :D

Why don't you just give them your number and let them chase you instead?

The money pouch would be more useful if it covered all currencies/tokens/tickets from minigames and such

I don't think you necessarily want a girlfriend. Rather, you just have some basic needs that are you are failing to fulfill, and want a girlfriend to fill that void for you. If you get into a relationship with this intent, you're asking for trouble. Acknowledge your basic needs first and then pursue relationships when you're in a healthy state of mind. Otherwise your happiness will be dependent on your girlfriend. And that is bad. I'll try and find my post... in the mean time, if you want me to elaborate on how to accomplish that, let me know.

You'll feel warmer in freezing weather after a cold shower than a hot one

Just measured the temperature of my shower for shits and giggles... 49 degrees Fahrenheit :mellow: I don't think the water was this cold when I started a couple months ago... I just got back from a week-long vacation in Florida to visit my parents and the coldest their showers would be was room temperature. When I got back home and started taking cold showers again, it was a lot harder this time around since the water's a lot colder than when I started. They actually were really painful w/o any warmth to accompany it, but now everything's back to normal :)

Gotta stay in till it feels warm or else you're wasting your time I'm at the point where I'll be in shock for like 5 seconds tops, and it feels warm in under a minute. Kinda sucks considering I enjoy the shock :\ If you're having trouble tolerating the pain, you just gotta learn to quit trying to resist the pain and accept it/relax. The more you try to resist the pain, the more you'll suffer.

That's another reason why you feel good after taking one-- it's like overcoming a fear/challenge/obstacle every morning. It's a great way to start the day.

That reminds me... If any of you wanna try it just for shits and giggles, it'll probably be harder to force yourself to do it in the morning till you've dispelled the fear of the cold water. I took my first one in the middle of the night when I didn't need a shower cuz I figured there was no way I'd be able to do it first thing in the morning haha I also found it easier to stand beneath the shower head and turn the cold water on, rather than turn the cold water on before getting into the shower.

Yup, either try it or don't... Perhaps "self-fulfilling prophecy" is a more fitting term.
