I didn't realize teleporting to Al-Kharid to get a few more sharks was challenging. Feel free to define "challenging" then. If you're not measuring challenge by how many kills you can get per trip or how many resources a boss takes, then what criteria are you using exactly? Because following your logic, GWD bosses are nothing close to a challenge. DKs, KQ, Barrows, KBD. "But I want a challenge! Bosses shouldn't be farmable!" Ok, go to KQ. "But I want a boss that drops overpriced loot!" Ok, go to KQ. "But I want consistent good loot!" Ok, go to DKs or Barrows. "But I want a boss that requires teamwork!" Ok, go to DKs.

Exactly. I don't understand people complaining about the lack of challenging PvM when people can't even solo the KQ in a single trip.

I don't really treat girls much differently than I do guys. Girls are very easily-offended (or at least act like they are) compared to guys, though. So if/when a girl's like, "I can't believe you said/did that! That offends me!" I just say, "Really?" with this kind of a look on my face. Then they usually either admit that they were just acting offended for whatever reason and lighten up, or they disappear fast. Win-win :D

Maybe I have truly been warped by my own impatience and bloodlust, but i honestly thought the vast majority of people find things like RCing extremely boring and monotonous while things such as PVM are less so and they'd rather do them in their free time. My world vision above is under the assumption everyone would prefer to GWD, not just me. Maybe I'm wrong though, i guess Runescape being what it is would attract players that actually enjoying RCing, as it's a large part of the game that they play. Apologies for my ignorance if this is truly the case, I just can't comprehend it. I also don't understand the term "RC PKer". Most RC, Natures specifically, does not include the wilderness, and it's unlike PVP worlds will ever come back. Plus doesn't everyone absolutely loathe being killed while RCing and frequently (ridiculously) demand for something to be in place to stop it from happening? An example of hunting RC Pkers-- easily one of the most fun activities in my nearly-10 years of playing RS. There were also a lot of "regulars" at Edgeville bank that I became friends with from rc'ing and chatted with during/between trips. Themed worlds sort of discourages regulars in worlds though unfortunately

Crafting nats was a blast back in 06 because I did it w/ friends and there were always RC Pkers to keep it exciting. It's a lot more fun and exciting to kill a RC Pker than it is to kill a boss

Sounds like a good time. Have fun! The cool thing is, you're both right! I know for a fact this'll blow up in my face hardcore. But I want to give it a chance. Because giving it a chance is fun. All you needed was 40 def and 70+ combat stats to do GWD with a group. If you want PvM so badly, remind me why you're not playing EOC? Is it because there's "not enough content" there? You must be new here. Meant to say grimy Herbs were grimy on release, but reverted by popular demand. (Admittedly they were still using their unid inventory icons, but still.) Yes, I know. I'm beginning to suspect you genuinely think I haven't been paying attention to 07 :lol:

Aviansies were around 1M/hr if done properly. Kree was WAY more than that (I could get a 30-40M hilt split WAY quicker than 30-40 hours of aviansies). Prior to that, it was very difficult for your average player to earn more than 300k/hr. GWD unbalanced everything. Not saying that everything was "perfectly balanced" prior to GWD, but GWD did nothing to help. They made the game into PvMscape. No, they didn't "improve" PvM. They shoved it down our throats, replaced all other forms of moneymaking, and further degraded PvP. Go get 99 in every combat skill and max out your equipment and then say you're bored with nothing to do. As I've said before, boredom is your problem, not Jagex's.

The dds is only op to pures... its harmless to most players with any kind of defence levels or bonuses honestly. It's also very erratic. Not true AT ALL. I got killed by 30-30+ specs MANY times as a maxed tank ranger with Torags helm, V skirt, rune kite, etc. Mabye it was just me then... Mostly depends on their att level. If a PKer only has 60-70 attack, yeah the DDS is less of a threat (if you're a tank). But by the time I was a maxed tank, everybody was 90+ att, at which point the DDS was a huge threat. I'd rather have an opponent with 99 str and lower att than 99 att and lower str.
