for DS9 fans:

i've been hiring one each Party Animal, Sea-Fort Guard, and Pearl Diver at the same time, then training them up to level 6 before hiring another 1 each of the new crew at the same time again. in the time it takes to get them up to level 6 you should easily have rolled another 1 of each (and saved up 2250 cotta), so by the time you do get them to level 6, you have 3 new crew sitting there ready to be hired instantly. now that I've got 4 of each new crew, 6 at level 8 and 3 at level 7, i'll probably not wait till my newest crew reach level 6, since the other guys stats are high enough to compensate.

what are the recommended binds for Hard Mode? i'll be soloing... cheers,

^^that appears after i attack a monster but i'm sure it used to be there before i clicked, like you say, just by hovering over it.

i haven't done any combat in months and it seems like things have changed several times since then. how do i see the weakness of the monster i am about to attack? there used to be a whole window, then it changed so the weakness and level appeared when i hovered my pointer over the monster, now nothing. feel like i'm missing something obvious! cheers,

strange, totally not working for me. I've still got the message in my chat box saying I have gained xp in 10 out of 10 skills, then the message saying my aura has depleted since I removed it before speaking to Xuan. now it's saying 22:28 until fully recharged, but Xuan won't give me my book!

how are people managing to sell their seeds for MA reward credits? i tried yesterday and today with no success. I am on the top floor with Lord Marshall Brogan but it says I can not sell that item to this shop.

considering the recent developments, i am now fairly sure the final total will read over 250k regardless of how many votes are actually received...

the number of current members is not as big a factor as some are making out. what about the supposed tens of thousands of "retired" players who loved rs2007 so much? surely paying one months membership so they can vote, is a small price to pay for getting their beloved nostalgiascape back? i have seen people on this thread do exactly that. and what about the people who play private servers? i saw a 6 digit number quoted many pages back. that would be enough to push the votes past 250k no problem. Jagex are clearly proving a point here. everyone can now see how much interest there truely is in an old server. having said that, from a business/financial point of view i think $15 is now excessive considering the number of people who have voted, and Jagex could comfortably make it $10 (assuming final total is under 250k).

i don't understand all the negative comments regarding this being a "cash grab". Jagex is a business. their goal is to make cash. as a player who wants Runescape to continue and to improve for years to come, i want Jagex to continue making cash. if this vote/petition is a scam to make tens of thousands of non-members/non-players subscribe for 1 month, then great, well done Jagex, good thinking. maybe some of them who haven't played in years might actually like the current game and stick around.
