i didn't play Runescape in 2007. it sounds awful. imagine the competition for resources in a rebooted version, with tens of thousands of players all starting from scratch. what a nightmare. i'll not be voting. i will however be watching the number of votes with great interest...

i've got all the Jade ship upgrades and all Jade crew. for my first building upgrade, should i go for Bar or Office? might seem like an odd question but i have been extremely unlucky with 10k captains - have only ever seen 3 and 2 of them were speed based. i feel the poor quality captains i am currently using are holding me back... cheers,

this could be a good way to get around the rules against botting. instead of the human player using a third party to do the boring grindy tasks, the electronic avatar uses the third party. the avatar hasn't signed any terms and conditions, so they are breaking no rules!

i've bought all the gunpowder upgrades for my ships apart from the rudder - will i have to buy the gunpowder rudder before i'll be allowed to buy the slate (or higher) rudder? i have no need to speed up missions right now and would rather save the gunpowder for port upgrades... cheers,

i had that mission yesterday, all the "Wandering Strangers" were in the centre plaza...

has anyone done the Barmaid's mission yet? and if so, does it take up a slot in the "Standard Voyages" tab or the "Special Voyages" tab? cheers,

has anyone tried one of these since EoC update? Runewiki says it has the same accuracy and speed as Polypore staff and SoL (although i don't understand the -3 damage stat) so wouldn't the GRS be better when charged with Fire Surge? cheers,

someone else who got "banned" and appeared at the top of Fally castle with me said he couldn't use his SOF spins. so that's the ultimate punishment now. use a bot and Jagex won't let you play SOF. take that!

i agree with the second article, it would be much better if more towns/areas were updated to reflect what happened in quests etc. i spent a lot of time fishing at Piscatoris and was really disappointed that they never fixed the place up after all my efforts to vanquish the sea trolls. what a dreary and depressing place that is.

my "friend" plays Runescape while he is at work. he only does afk'able background stuff such as woodchopping, fishing etc, so he feels he still puts in a good 7-7.5 hours of solid work each day. he is also aware that his colleagues, and indeed his boss, spend time each day on Facebook, watching YouTube, reading websites, sending personal emails etc etc, so despite playing Runescape he is still one of the most productive and valued employees at the company. i have seen a few other people on this forum mention playing from work, so i thought i'd do a poll to see how common it actually is. VOTE! edit - for more discussion value, the people who vote YES should also mention any interesting AFK'able activities they have found they can perform in the background while at work. wc'ing and fishing were just obvious examples.

thought it was about time i gave Fight Caves a go. planning to use ranged since tip.it guide seems to suggest this is easiest, but it does seem a bit old so i'm open to suggestions. don't have chaotics. do have rigour. if ranging i would use full armadyl and rune xbow with rune bolts. should i use ruby or diamond bolts for jad? fury or amulet of ranging? spectral or zammy book? feel like extra mage protection might help if i'm sloppy with my prayers... how many potions/flasks should i take? that's my main dilemma... thanks!

slightly off-topic but a while ago i read somewhere that greenfingers stopped the scroll of life effect from working properly, has anyone else heard or experienced this?

should i keep my Vecna Skull considering i can make (and have lots of) Extreme Magic pots? i feel like i am missing something... thanks!

As long as my character's got one of those cute English accents, I won't mind ... :thumbsup: i'll be chucking my computer oot the windae if they gie me an english accent.

If i die in the Wilderness and lose my Unholy Book, will i be able to collect from Jossik, still complete with all pages? cheers!
